Frequently Asked Questions
-
What is the best way to adjust the volume on my Surface Earbuds?
Swipe up or down on the right earbud to control the volume while listening to music or on a call. Swipe up on the right. Swipe down on the right. -
When your Surface Earbuds are fully charged, how do you know?
While charging, the light within the charging case will fade in and out white, eventually becoming solid white when fully charged. Put your earbuds in the case to charge as well. -
How do you use your Surface Pro with earbuds?
In the Surface Audio app, set up your Surface Earbuds. Remove the earbuds from the charging case. Tap Surface Audio on the Connected devices screen in Settings. The Surface Audio app launches, and your earbuds pair. -
How do you answer a phone call while using earbuds?
You should be ready to go after your earbuds have been matched or plugged in. When a call comes in, you can answer it by pressing the button on the earbuds. This will connect the call and allow you to continue speaking without having to hold your phone in your hand. -
Is it possible to connect Surface Earbuds to several devices?
What’s more upsetting for business users is that the Surface Earbuds can’t pair with two devices at the same time, such as your phone and laptop. This is particularly aggravating because the Surface Headphones can accomplish the same thing, but Microsoft hasn’t implemented multipoint capabilities here. -
What is the best way to check the battery life of surface headphones?
You’ll hear how much battery you have left when you turn on your Surface Headphones. In the Surface app, you can also check the battery level at any time. -
How do I charge the charging case for my earbuds?
Connect the charging case to a USB power source or an approved wall charger. The earphones and charging case take around 2 hours to charge completely. Charge times may be longer with non-certified chargers. -
Is noise canceling available with Surface Earbuds?
Microsoft Surface Earbuds lack active noise cancellation, putting them at odds with prior Surface Headphones’ isolation features. While it was first introduced amid poor acceptance from competitors in the wireless earbud industry, it now trails some expensive alternatives. -
My headphones aren’t working on my surface?
Make sure the connections connecting your Surface to the accessory are securely plugged in. Try other cables if the connection is secure but you still can’t hear sound from the attachment. Close all audio apps, then disconnect and reconnect any accessory wires from your Surface and the accessory. -
How do earbuds and your phone interact?
Pull down the shade from the top of your Android device and long-press the Bluetooth symbol. It will immediately take you to the Bluetooth menu, where you may switch it on and then search for devices. Select the headphones you want to pair by tapping their name.
