  • Replace an empty battery in the IR remote control as soon as possible against a new one or removed the used-up battery from the IR remote control. An empty battery may leak and damage the IR remote control. Loss of warranty/guarantee!
  • Make sure that the battery is inserted in the IR remote control with the correct polarity (observe positive/+ and negative/-).
  • For the environmentally friendly disposal of batteries, observe the chapter „Disposal“.

Commissioning

  1. Inserting Battery in the IR Remote Control, Battery Replacement
The battery may already be inserted in the IR remote control. If a small plastic strip is present in the battery compartment, pull it out. It serves to protect against premature discharge of the battery.

    • Check during first commissioning whether the battery compartment of the IR remote control has a plastic protective strip. If so, pull it out. The IR remote control is then ready for use.
    • A battery change is required if the range of the IR remote control drops or the monitor no longer reacts to the IR remote control at all.
    • The locking clip at the battery compartment must be unlatched, e.g. with a flat screwdriver, upon which the battery holder and battery can be pulled out.
Replace the empty battery with a new one of type CR2025. Always observe the correct polarity (plus/+ and minus/-) when inserting the battery. The plus pole of the battery is marked with the icon „+“ and must point towards the bottom of the IR remote control. Push the battery holder back into the IR remote control. Observe correct orientation. Do not apply any force!
  2. Setup or Installation
    Operation with standing base:

    • The standing base is already attached to the monitor at delivery. Fold it down to set up the motor.

    • The monitor can be set up on a stable, level, sufficiently large area, via the standing base.

    • Protect valuable furniture surfaces from scratches or pressure points with suitable pads.
      Operation with monitor holder:

    • Alternatively to replacement of the standing base, you may use a suitable monitor holder for wall assembly, for examp-le (not enclosed in the scope of delivery, available as accessories).
      Proceed as follows:

    • Remove the standing base from the rear of the monitor. First disconnect the cover flap from the holder. Then turn the 2 screws below to the left and right out and remove the standing base.

    • The assembly holes at a hole distance of 75 x 75 mm permits screwing the monitor onto the monitor holder. Obser-ve the operating instructions for the monitor holder used by you.
      Caution!
The screws with which the monitor is attached to the monitor holder must not be too long. When the screws are too deeply turned into the monitor, the monitor is damaged; loss of warranty/guarantee! The turning-in depth must not exceed 5 mm. Furthermore, the monitor holder must be suitable for the monitor weight.

  3. Connectionrenkforce-449238-CCTV-LCD-Monitor-FIG1
