Introduction

Samsung’s Galaxy Buds2 Truly Wireless are the successor to the Galaxy Buds+ Truly Wireless. The active noise cancelling (ANC) technology has been added to the mix, and it performs an excellent job of filtering out ambient noise. They also feature a low-latency ‘Game Mode’ available through their companion app, which is useful if you want to stream video or play games on your phone. This function, however, is only available on Samsung smartphones. Unfortunately, their continuous battery life of less than five hours is disappointing, despite the carrying case’s provision of nearly three more charges if needed.

Note
These headphones contain in-ear sensors that must be enabled in order for the ANC system to work. When inserted in the ears of our dummy head, however, they do not work. As a consequence, we used copper tape to attach copper lines to the sensor, fooling it into activating.

How do you utilise the Galaxy buds’ noise cancellation

Open the Galaxy Wearable app to enable Active noise cancellation on the Galaxy Buds Pro. Select ‘Active noise cancelling’ from the drop-down menu. When the function is turned on, you’ll hear a beep. Then, using the slider, select your volume.

How To Pair With Your Phone?

• Step 1:Put your earphones in pairing mode first. The first step is to link your earbuds with your phone.
• Step 2: On your phone, go to Settings – Bluetooth.
• Step 3: Search the Bluetooth category for new devices.
• Step 4: Select and connect your device.
• Step 5: Turn up your favourite tunes.

Frequently Asked Questions

• Are they waterproof?
  So first of all I’m not sure how much sweat is generated through the ear canal… but considering this is probably on a person by person basis, I’d say sweat will not affect. Also, The last time I had my earbuds in while doing dishes, I was lucky enough not to submerge my head in the dishwater, so I cannot vouch on that one either. I do believe further research would be needed here.
  I did have the unlucky chance to drop one earbud into some water… I quickly snatched it out and dried it… still works ok. Still, I would not suggest snorkelling, bathing dogs, cleaning pools, or generally any water sports with them

• Did anyone else get these with the box completely open and parts out of their packaging?! I’m embarrassed to give this as a gift as they look used.
  Yes! My box was wrapped in a plastic bag thanking me for giving the product a second life. I am returning mine today. I didn’t agree to buy refurbished/used earbuds.

• Can the case be located using the galaxy wearable app? Not just the individual buds but the case?
  It seems that the Galaxy Wearable app locates the BUDS but not the Case (if separated from the BUDS)

• I didn’t receive wings with mine.. Should I have?
  As far as i know, this model does not come with wings as past ones did. In all the reviews are ive seen and none of them has received wings with this product.

• Are these earbuds Bluetooth 5.2?
  Earbud plus is the newest version.

• Do they work well for phone calls?
  They work great. Use them for conference calls every day.

• Are these as big as the galaxy buds pro? I bought the pro and they’re huge. Way too big for my ear
  I have both the pro and the 2, the pros are huge compared to these, I feel there’s more of a natural feel.

• Can these be charged on a wireless charge pad?
  The earbuds charge while in the case which connects to a USB – C charger. It’s possible that the case could be charged on a pad, but you would have to contact Samsung to confirm. There is nothing about pad charging in the manual.

• Do these have low latency for video or tv watching? Or do they have low latency when paired with my tv Bluetooth transmitter and paired with laptop?
  They have low latency when directly connected to devices. I.e. using Bluetooth on your laptop.

• Can i connect the earbud to tv?
  I beekeeping so I haven’t tried it.

• Is this pad a charging fast pad?
  Yes

• Some earbuds only work independently. Can these work together?
  Yes, and for more customization download the Samsung wearable.

• Do these earbuds work with the Galaxy a32 5g phone?
  Yes

• Is it compatible with my Dell laptop for Zoom calls? my Jabra are not!
  I use it with my Huawei and Dell laptops
