  The internal DAC on the audifi is the ESS SABRE ES9023 which supports up to 24bit/192 kHz decoding. The USB cannot be used to connect to an external DAC.

  The audifi is just a receiver that connects to an amplifier.

• My music library is on my computer in iTunes. my computer is on my local network. would Auris audifi be able to stream the music from iTunes?
  Yes, you can stream your computer’s music through iTunes to the audifi.

• Can the app control the volume output from an external rca connected cd player?
  Yes, the app can control the volume. The audifi also comes with a remote control that can be used to control the volume.
