Strobe Mode

In Strobe Mode, a single string’s pitch has two indicators:

Tune the string until the rotating segments slow down and stop, and only the center column of LEDs lights up.

Changing Reference Pitch

The default reference pitch (A = 440 Hz) can be changed by following these steps:

  1. Press REFERENCE TONE button. The display will show the current reference pitch (e.g., “440” for 440 Hz).
  2. To increase the reference pitch in 1 Hz steps, press the REFERENCE TONE button.
  3. To decrease the reference pitch in 1 Hz steps, press the DISPLAY MODE button.
  4. To store the currently-displayed reference pitch, refrain from pressing either button for 2 seconds. The set reference pitch will blink 3 times.
