IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS:

  • READ AND FOLLOW ALL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

  • Do not cover this product as the covering may cause the flexible light to overheat and melt
    or ignite.

  • Do not operate with the flexible light tightly coiled.

  • Do not puncture, cut, shorten, or splice the flexible lighting.

  • Do not route the cord or flexible lighting through walls, doors, windows or any like part of the building structure.

  • Do not use if there is any damage to the light or cord insulation. Inspect periodically.

  • Do not submerge flexible light in liquids, or use the product in the vicinity of standing water
    or other liquids.

  • Secure this flexible light using only the hangers or clips provided. Do not secure this product or its cord with staples, nails, or like means that may damage the insulation or permanently attach to the building structure.

  • Do not subject flexible lighting to continuous flexing.

  • This product has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other) as a feature to reduce
    the risk of electric shock. This plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug, if it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Never usewith an extension cord unless plug can be fully inserted. Do not alter or replace the plug.

  • All units must be unplugged before adding additional segment.

  • Use only the same series extension segments model manufactured by the same manufacturer,

  •  Ensure all connections and the end cap on the last segment is tightly secured to preclude
    the entry of water.

  • Do not install on gates or doors, where subject to flexing.

  • Do not mount or secure rope light in a manner that can cut the outer jacket or damage the
    cord insulation. Inspect the rope light carefully before use and discard any rope light that have broken outer jacket, loose connections, or frayed wire insulation.

  • Risk of fire. Do not replace attachment plug. Contains a safety device (fuse) that should not
    be removed. Discard product if the attachment plug is damaged.

  • Do not rub or knead the products continuously, the smallest bending radius is more than
    8cm.

  • Do not operate with the flexible light tightly coiled. To prevent overheating do not allow
    contact between flexible light cables and parts of light cables. Maintain at least 12mm spacing between flexible light cables or parts of light cables.

  • Do not install in cabinets, tanks or enclosures of any kind.

CAUTION: a) DO NOT EXCEED THE MAXIMUM NUMBER OF EXTENSIONS OR FLEXIBLE LIGHT LENGTHS PERMITTED BY THE MARKING. b) All units must be unplugged before adding additional segment. c) Maximum total extension length: 65.6’. Ensure all connections and the end cap on the last segment are tightly secured to keep water from entering. Use only extension segments recommended by the manufacturer of this system.

WARNING:When using “outdoor” use portable lighting products, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and personal injury, including the following:

READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS

  • Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI) protection should be provided on the circuits or
    outlet to be used for the outdoor use flexible lighting product. Receptacles are available
    having built-in GFCI protection for this measure of safety.

  • Use only outdoor extension cords, such as type SW, SOW, STW, STOW, SJW, SJOW, SJTW, or SJTOW. This designation is marked on the wire of the extension cord.

  • Do not install closer than 3 meters from a swimming pool surface.

HOW TO REPLACE THE FUSE:

This plug contains an electrical fuse a safety feature.

  • Disconnect power before replacing the fuse.

  • Grasp plug and remove from the receptacle or other outlet device.

  • Do not unplug by pulling on the cord.

  • Slide open by unscrew the fuse access cover on top of attachment plug.

  • Remove old fuse carefully.

  • Never attempt to replace the fuse with a higher watt fuse.
    Use only 5 A, 125 V fuse. Failure to do so may be a fire hazard.

  • Set new fuse in holder and reinstall access cover.

HOW TO INSTALL ROPE LIGHT

The design of rope light follows the principle of user-friendly and customized. install it in different smooth surface, such as wood, plastic, metal and porcelain, etc. It can be design and apply in different shape, easy to connect.

  • Face up lighting part when install clips.
  • Check all accessories are in properly installation before plug to electricity.
  • Bend only back, do not bend from side.
  • Fix mounting clips with nails or screws onto support surfaces. (Figure 1, 2, 3)
  • On a clean smooth surface, use suction cup to mount. (Figure 4)
  • Mounting clips, suction cup should be evenly spaced and both be a maximum of 1M apart.( Figure 5)
  • Make sure that the distance between two lines of lighting chains should be at least 12mm.

Remote Control Function

  • Remove the plastic battery isolation tag from the remote control by pulling it out. (see below picture B)
  • Point the remote control towards the IR Receiver on the Controller box. (see below picture C). Do not have the IR Receiver point directly towards strong sunlight.
  • The remote control need to be in line of sight to a maximum of around 10ft from the IR Receiver.

Use the OFF/ON buttons to turn the Light Strip ON or OFF. (see below picture B)

  • Press the R, G, B or W buttons to select Red Green, Blue or White.
  • Press the 16 colour selection buttons to switch between colors.
  • Press the 2 Brightness buttons to increase or decrease the brightness of the LED’s
  • Switch between 4 functions with the Flash, Strobe, Fade and Smooth button.

Control Box

By depressing the button on the Control box (Picture D),the light strip can be controlled to switch between all 16 static colors and preset functions of the light strip.

Battery Replacement

Battery: CR2032V Lithium
Refer to diagram on back of remote control.
Push the small tab on le side towards the larger tab, at t he same me pull the larger tab t owards you to open the battery compartment and remove the battery. Ensure that the used battery is always in sigh t by the user un l it is safely disp osed of out of reach of small children.

Care and Maintenance

  1. Before using or reusing, inspect product carefully. Stop using the product if it has cu t, damaged or frayed wire insulation or cords, or exposed copper wire.
  2. When not in use, store neatly in cool, dry location protected from sunlight.

Any Changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance
could void the user’s authority to operate the equipment.
