SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
- Read Instructions – All the safety and operating instructions must be read before the product is operated.
- Retain Instructions – The safety and operating instructions should be kept with the product for future reference.
- Heed warnings – All warnings on the product and in the operating instructions should be adhered to.
- Follow instructions – All operating and users’ instructions should be followed.
- Water and moisture – To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not expose the product to train, dripping, splashing or excessive moisture such as in a sauna or bathroom. Do not use this product near water, for example, near a bathtub, washbowl, kitchen sink, laundry tub, in a wet basement or near a swimming pool (or similar).
- Object and Liquid Entry – Never push objects of any kind into this product through openings, as they may touch dangerous voltage points or short-circuit parts that could result in a fire or electric shock. Never spill liquid of any kind on the product. Do not place any object containing liquid on top of the product.
- Servicing – Do not attempt to service this product yourself, as opening or removing covers may expose you to dangerous voltage or other hazards. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel.
- Replacement parts – When replacement parts are required, ensure that the service technician has used replacement parts specified by the manufacturer or have the same characteristics as the original part. Unauthorized substitutions may result in fire, electric shock or other hazards.
- Clean your unit with a soft cloth moistened only with mild soap and water. Stronger agents such as benzene, thinner or similar materials can damage the surface of the unit. Make sure the unit is unplugged before cleaning.
- Battery
- The batteries must not be exposed to excessive heat such as sunshine, fire or the like.
- The batteries should be drawn to the environmental aspects of battery disposal.
- Battery usage CAUTION – to prevent battery leakage which may result in bodily injuries, property damage, or damage to the apparatus:
– Install all batteries correctly, + and – as marked on the apparatus.
– Remove batteries when the unit is not used for a long time.

components, which can be recycled and reused.
When this crossed-out wheeled bin symbol is attached to a product it means
that the product is covered by the European Directive 2012/19/EU. Please
inform yourself about the local separate collection system for electrical and
electronic products. Please cat according to your local rules and do not
dispose of your old products with your normal household waste. Correct
disposal of your old product helps to prevent potential negative consequences
for the environment and human health.
Your product contains batteries covered by the European Directive 2006/66/EC, which cannot be disposed with normal household waste. Please inform yourself about the local rules on separate collection of batteries because correct disposal helps to prevent negative consequences for the environmental and human health.
Environmental information
All unnecessary packaging has been omitted. We have tried to make the
packaging easy to separate into three materials: cardboard (box), polystyrene
foam(buffer) and polyethylene (bags, protective foam sheet). Your system
consists of material that can be recycled and reused if disassembled by a
specialized company. Please observe the local regulations regarding the
disposal of packaging materials, exhausted batteries and old equipment.
Recording and playback of material might require consent. See Copyright Act
1956 and The Performer’s Protection Acts 1958 to 1972.

Power source
Battery installment: open the battery door, insert the supplied BL-5C
rechargeable lithium battery into the compartment according to the engraved
negative and positive polarity symbol; then close the battery door.
Caution: the battery compartment is designed to be compatible and install AAA dry battery power as well. So you can install 3pcs x AAA batteries as the power for operation. The battery icon will show on display during dry battery power operation, please kindly note the icon cannot indicate the battery power capacity status, this is a battery power operation indication only.
Charging: After installing the rechargeable battery successfully, please use the supplied USB charging cable to connect with the micro USB power jack of unit, and the other terminal connect with USB power source like PC USB port or another USB charger is with a DC 5V rating output. The battery icon will flare on the display during charging, and the battery icon will become stable in case of be fully charged.
Notes:
- When the battery power becomes weak, the battery symbol will flare on display. The radio will stop and off automatically in case of the power is exhausted. Please arrange to recharge or replace it with a fresh battery for further operation.
- In order to save and avoid battery power consumed too fast, we suggest listening to the radio at middle-level volume.
- We do not recommend connecting the DC power without a rechargeable battery available inside for operation, because that may cause some unexpected sound noises.
- For first time charging, please charge for 10 hours in order to get the best battery performance and extent battery lifetime.
- Please do not charge the battery over 24 hours longer. The working temperature range is 5~35 degrees.
- Due to prolong charging and discharging, the battery life will be affected and playback time will be shortened. We cannot guarantee the same playback time consistently throughout and this is not included in our warranty and service.
- You can listen to and charge the radio at the same time.
- Please do not mix up and install different brand battery, or old and new battery together; Please take out the battery in case of no operation in a long time; please dispose of the exhausted battery in an environmentally friendly way.
Radio operation
Before start, the radio operation, please full extent the antenna and try to
move the unit next window in order to get better reception. Press the POWER
button to power on the unit; press the MODE button enter to the radio mode or
switch to another play mode.
Manual tune and auto-scan: Short press the TUNING +/- button to increase or decrease the frequency step by step(0.1MHz); press and hold the TUNING +/- button for 3 seconds will auto scan the available station in upward or downward frequency, The radio will stop and play the station automatically once station be found.
Preset and memory station (all-in-one, up to 50 stations max.): press and hold the PROG button 3 seconds to scan and save the available station automatically; short press the PRESET +/- or digits button can pick up the preset station for listening.
Manual preset station: Manual tune or auto-scan the favorite FM station, short press PROG button to enter programming operation, press the PRESET +/- button to select the preset station number which you desire to save station; press the PROG button again to confirm the selection.
USB and microSD card playback
Before starting the operation, please copy the MP3 format music file into the
USB or microSD storage device. Then insert the device into the port.
Please power on the unit and short press the MODE button to switch the play
source between FM/USB/microSD. The unit will read out and play the MP3 music
file after a few seconds automatically; press the VOL +/- button to adjust the
output volume to enjoy the sound.
In USB or microSD playback mode, press the PREVIOUS and NEXT button to select
the track; press and hold the PREVIOUS and NEXT button to fast-forward and
fast-rewind the playback within one track; press the digits button to select
the relative track; press the 10+/- button to fast select the tracking number
over 10; press the PLAY/PAUSE button to pause the music playing.
Notes:
- The USB and microSD is only available when the USB or MicroSD device is installed.
- We do not recommend playback of the music by USB extension cable connection, which may impact the signal transfer, and cause intermittent sound output.
- The supported USB and microSD device is up to 16GB storage max.
- Please double-check the direction on the port when you insert the device in order to match the connection.
Headphone: You can connect headphones with the headphone jack on the radio, then the sound will output from the headphone and mute the loudspeaker.
Troubleshooting
- Cannot power on the unit.
- Please check if the unit connects with DC power well, or check the battery power status and arrange to charge in case of no power.
- Please contact the service in case of the problem remains.
- FM reception is too poor.
- Try to move the unit next to the window, or other location for listening.
- Try to adjust the antenna, or turn to another station for listening.
- No sound output in USB/microSD mode.
- Please double-check if the device was connected with the unit well.
- Please double-check if the music is in MP3 format
