  • Protect this device from heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other appliances (including amplifiers) that produce heat.
  • Do not remove the cover under any conditions. There are no user-serviceable parts inside. Never operate this device when its cover is removed.
  • Familiarise yourself with the functions of the device before actually using it.

Batteries

WARNING
Do not puncture batteries or throw them in fire as they may explode. Do not attempt to recharge non-rechargeable batteries. Dispose of batteries in accordance with local regulations. Keep batteries away from children.

  • Open the battery compartment and insert the batteries according to the correct polarity.
  • Replace the batteries as soon as the display turns dark.
  • Remove the batteries after use.

Operation

General Operation

  1. Hold the scale in your hand or hang it on a solid truss.
  2. Switch on the scale. The scale is ready-to-use when the display shows 0.
  3. Hang the item to be weighed on the hook and wait for the display to stabilize
  4. To tare an item, tap the tare button. Place the item to be weighed on the scale.
  5. The weight is displayed.

Unit Conversion
Press the unit button until the desired weighing unit is displayed.

Hold Function

Press the hold button repeatedly to select the desired hold function:

  • auto hold
    The weight is locked when stabilized.

  • peak hold
    The highest weight is locked. Good for measuring forces.

  • no hold
    The weight does not lock.

Calibration

  1. With the scale off, press and hold the unit and on-off buttons simultaneously until a number appears in the display.
  2. Hold the on-off button pressed to reset the value to 100.0 kg.
  3. Hang the required calibration weight on the hook. Wait for the value to stabilize and press the on-off button. Calibration is complete when PASS appears on the display.

Error Indications

  • Battery power running low.
  • Overloaded. Remove excess weight.
  • Calibration needed.

Cleaning and Maintenance

  • Occasionally wipe with a damp cloth to keep it looking new. Do not use harsh chemicals, cleaning solvents or strong detergents.
  • Do not immerse the device in any liquid.
