WARNINGS

WARNING:Do not use this appliance near bathtubs, showers, basins or other vessels containing water.
This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the risks involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and use maintenance shall not be done by children without supervision.

Do not use the appliance for purposes other than styling human hair.
Keep the appliance away from non-heat-resistance surfaces and never cover the appliance with anything (e.g. clothing or towels) when it’s hot.
When the appliance is used in a bathroom, unplug it after use since the proximity of water presents a risk even when the appliance is switched off.

USE

What to do before first use:

Remove the packaging material and inspect the device for damage.
Do not operate the device if it is damaged in any way. Return it to your seller immediately.
Only connect the appliance to a mains socket with the mains voltage indicated on the rating plate.
When disconnecting the power cord from the power outlet, pull only on the plug. Never pull on the cord.
During the first few minutes of the first use, you may notice a little smoke and a slight smell. This is normal and will soon disappear.
Be aware that some surfaces may become hot. Do not touch and supervise others accordingly. The unit is VERY HOT when in use. Take care to avoid contact between the hot surface and bare skin, particularly around the ears, face and neck when in use.

INTENDED USE

Warning! Only use the device externally.

The appliance is only intended for drying and styling human hair.
Any improper use can be dangerous!
For best results, wash, comb and dry hair until just damp to touch although the hair straightener can be used for touch ups at any time. Do not use hairspray or other flammable chemical hair care products.
Fully unwind the mains cable , and plug the straightener into the mains socket and switch on the product.
Wait for 3 -5 minutes to allow the appliance to reach its working temperature.
Divide hair into manageable sections and clip the upper layers on top of your head and out of the way. Work with underneath layer first.
Take a small section of hair and pull hair down and away from your scalp and hold it taut.
Starting the roots, clamp hair firmly between the plates and run the straightener down the entire hair strand, from root to tip, in one smooth stroke. Do not hold it in one area for a long period of time.
Repeat with all the sections of your hairs.
When you are finishing styling, slide the on/off switch to turn the unit off, unplug the unit and allow it to completely cool down before cleaning or storing.

CLEANING

Unplug the appliance and allow it to cool down. Use a soft, slightly damp cloth to wipe the appliance surfaces. Do not allow water or any other liquid to get into the unit. Care should be taken not to touch this part of the appliance when it is switched on our just after it has been turned off. ALLOW AT LEAST 30 MINUTES TO COOL DOWN BEFORE PUTTING AWAY.

STORAGE

Unplug the appliance, allow to cool and store in its box or in a dry place. Never store it while it is hot or still plugged in. Never wrap the cord tightly around the appliance. Never hang the unit by the cord. Store the cord loosely coiled. Do not put any stress on the cord where it enters the unit, as it could cause the cord to fray and break.

WARRANTY

For 24 months after date of purchase in respect of defects found – at our discretion – to be due to faulty workmanship or material. The warranty is valid only with a receipt. There is no warranty on appliances found to be defective due to improper usage, disassembling or accidental breakage. The warranty is not valid for damages resulting from defects.
