BATTERY PRECAUTIONS
- Use only the size and type of batteries specified.
- Always purchase the correct size and grade of battery most suitable for the intended use.
- Be sure to follow the correct polarity when installing the batteries as indicated in the battery compartment. Reversed batteries may cause damage to the device.
- Do not mix alkaline, standard (Carbon-Zinc), or rechargeable (Nickel Cadmium) batteries.
- Replace all batteries of a set at the same time. Do not mix old and new batteries.
- Clean the battery contacts and also those of the device prior to battery installation.
- Do not dispose of batteries in fire.
- Remove batteries if consumed or if the product is to be left unused for an extended period of time.

Remote Battery Replacement:
If the operation of the receiver units becomes erratic, it may be necessary to
replace the battery in the hand-held remote unit. To do this, first remove the
battery compartment cover. Press the tray release button on the back of the
remote. Next, remove the depleted battery and discard it according to local
ordinances. Be sure to correctly install the new battery. Replace the battery
compartment cover and test by using it to control the indoor remote control
outlets.

Appliances to be connected to the remote control socket MUST NOT exceed the voltage and current ratings as in “Specifications”.

Installation
Replacing the batteries
- If the LEDs appear to be dim, this is an indication that your batteries need to be replaced.
- Rotate the battery cover counterclockwise and remove it.
- Remove the old batteries and insert three new AAA batteries. Be sure to match the polarity as shown in the diagram in the battery compartment.
- Check light operation to confirm that batteries are correctly installed.
- Replace the battery cover and rotate it clockwise to lock it in place.
CAUTION: Do not mix battery types. Use only fresh batteries. Alkaline is recommended.
Mounting with double-sided tape
- Check the location of where you want to place the puck light. Make sure it is clean and that there is no debris or dust.
- Remove the protective film from one side of the double-sided tape (BB) and apply it to the center of the mounting bracket (battery door). Peel off the remaining protective film and press the mounting bracket firmly to the intended surface for 5 seconds.
CAUTION: Be cautious of what surface the double-sided tape is attached to, as it may remove paint or damage the surface.

Operation

Install batteries
Install batteries and close the batteries cover in place -
Turning the light on
Press once to turn ON.
Pressing again to OFF NOTE: The remote uses RF technology and does not need to be aimed at the puck light -
Using the Remote
REMOVE THE INSULATION PIECE FIRST REMOTE CONTROL POWER: Controls all puck lights
RED: Turn ALL puck lights off
GREEN: Turn ALL puck lights on
TIMER
Controls the amount of time the puck lights will stay ON. Turn lights ON first
then select duration. Lights will flash once to confirm command and the timer
clears when lights turn OFF(10,30,60 or 120 minutes)
DIMMER
Controls brightness of all puck lights Press and hold(+) to increase
brightness Press and hold(-) to decrease brightness
DIMMERPRESETS
Turn lights ON first then select brightness preset(10%,40%,80% or 100%
brightness)
LAST MEMORY
All puck lights will return to the prior brightness settings when turned ON.
Care and Cleaning
- Clean the lamp with a soft, dry cloth.
- Do not use any cleaners with chemicals, solvents, or harsh abrasives.

IMPORTANT: Proof of Purchase is required to obtain warranty service
Paragon Group USA Inc. warrants to the original owner that our products will
be free from defects in workmanship and material for a period of ONE YEAR from
the date of purchase. Should any unit(s) prove to be defective during this
period, Paragon Group USA Inc. will be responsible for the replacement of the
defective unit(s) only. Paragon Group USA Inc. is not responsible for labor
charges or any incidental or consequential expenses.
Not Covered – Batteries are not covered by this warranty. Repair service,
adjustment, and calibration due to misuse, abuse, or negligence are not
covered by this warranty. Unauthorized service or modification to this product
or of any furnished components will void this warranty in its entirety. This
warranty does not include reimbursement for inconvenience, installation, set-
up time, loss of use, postage, unauthorized service, or other products used in
conjunction with Link2Home products.
