TN-2365 Brother Drum Toner Cartridge

Here are some situation you may encountered when use the toner cartridge for printing, please follow the steps to solve problems. If you need more support, you can send us the internal message, our After-sales service will be always here.

  1. First, power off the Brother printer and then open the front cover.

  2. Now, press the Go button on the Printer and alternatively turn the Printer ON.

  3. Once all the lights are ON, press the Go button TWICE.

  4. When all the toner, drum, error lamps light up, press the Go button FIVE TIMES.

  5. After this, the toner, drum and the Brother setup error lights will turn off and the Ready light turns ON.

  6. If this happens, then close the front door of the Brother printer and then start the Printer.

  7. If the machine indicates Replace Toner status, put in a new toner cartridge.

  8. Check the machine’s environment. Conditions such as humidity, high temperatures, and so on, may cause this print fault.

  9. If the whole page is too light, Toner Save may be turned on. Turn off Toner Save mode in the machine’s menu settings or the printer driver.

  10. Clean the drum unit.

  11. Clean the corona wire of the drum unit.

  12. Replace the toner cartridge with a new toner cartridge.

  13. Replace the drum unit with a new drum unit.

  14. Check the machine’s environment. Conditions such as high temperatures and high humidity can increase the amount of background shading.

  15. Clean the drum unit.

  16. Replace the toner cartridge with a new toner cartridge.

  17. Replace the drum unit with a new drum unit.

  18. Clean the corona wire on the drum unit.

  19. The drum unit may be damaged.Replace the drum unit with a new drum unit.

  20. The fuser unit may be contaminated.Contact Brother

  21. Clean the corona wire inside the drum unit.

  22. Clean the drum unit.

  23. The drum unit may be damaged.Replace the drum unit with a new drum unit.

  24. If you use label sheets for laser printers, the glue from the sheets may sometimes stick to the drum surface. Clean the drum unit.

  25. If you used paper that has clips or staples, the drum unit may be damaged.

  26. If the unpacked drum unit is in direct sunlight (or room light for long periods of time), the unit may be damaged.

  27. Clean the drum unit.

  28. The toner cartridge may be damaged.Replace the toner cartridge with a new toner cartridge.

  29. The drum unit may be damaged.Replace the drum unit with a new drum unit.

  30. Select Thick Paper mode in the printer driver or use thinner paper than you are currently using.

  31. Select Thick Paper in the machine’s Media Type menu setting.

  32. Check the machine’s environment. Conditions such as high humidity can cause hollow print.

  33. The drum unit may be damaged.Replace the drum unit with a new drum unit.

  34. Select the appropriate media type in the printer driver.

  35. Select the appropriate media type in the menu setting.

  36. The problem may disappear by itself. Print multiple blank pages to clear this problem, especially if the machine has not been used for a long time.

  37. Clean the drum unit.

  38. The drum unit may be damaged.Replace the drum unit with a new drum unit.

  39. Check the machine’s environment. Conditions such as high humidity and high temperatures may cause this print quality problem.

  40. Clean the drum unit.

  41. If the problem is not solved after printing a few pages, replace the drum unit with a new drum unit.

  42. Make sure paper is loaded correctly.

  43. Check the paper type and quality.

  44. Turn over the stack of paper in the tray or rotate the paper 180° in the input tray.

  45. Clean the corona wire inside the drum unit by sliding the green tab.Make sure you return the green tab to the home position

  46. The toner cartridge may be damaged.Replace the toner cartridge with a new toner cartridge.

  47. The drum unit may be damaged.Replace the drum unit with a new drum unit.

  48. The fuser unit may be contaminated.Contact Brother

  49. Make sure the paper or other print media is loaded correctly in the paper tray and the guides are not too tight or too loose against the paper stack.

  50. Set the paper guides correctly.

  51. The paper tray may be too full.

  52. Check the paper type and quality.

  53. Check for loose objects such as torn paper inside the machine.

  54. (For automatic 2-sided printing models)If the problem only occurs during 2-sided printing, check for torn paper in the 2-sided tray, verify the 2-sided tray is inserted completely and the back cover is closed completely.
