FCC REGULATIONS
Changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the user‘s authority to operate the equipment.
This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates, uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures:
- Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
- Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
- Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected.
- Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.
RF EXPOSURE INFORMATION (SAR)
This device has been tested and meets applicable limits for Radio Frequency (RF) exposure.
Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) refers to the rate at which the body absorbs RF energy. SAR limits are 1.6 Watts per kilogram (over a volume containing a mass of 1 gram of tissue) in countries that follow the United States FCC limit & Canada ISED limit and 2.0 W/kg (averaged over 10 grams of tissue) in countries that follow the Council of the European Union limit. Tests for SAR are conducted using standard operating positions with the device transmitting at its highest certified power level in all tested frequency bands.
The highest SAR value reported for this device when tested for use near body is 0.683W/kg @1g.
This device should be installed and operated with minimum distance 0mm between the radiator & your body.
TEAMCOMM® SYSTEM SETUP
The TeamComm® system was designed for simple communication. There are three parts to the TeamComm® system:
- Radio (TC150)
- Repeater Model (TRP150)
- Charger (2UP – TDC150, 6UP – TGC150)
To setup the TeamComm® system:
- Plug the included DC barrel plug on the wall adapter into the connector on the back of the charger.
- Plug the included DC barrel plug on the wall adapter into the connector on the back of the repeater.
- Plug the repeater and charger into a 120V AC wall outlet, making sure the AC outlet has power.
- Place the radios in the charging slots.
- Single press the button on the repeater and the button on the charging base to activate pairing mode.
- The system connection light on the charging base and the repeater will turn green once paired.
NOTE: Check the system before deciding on the repeater location and mounting.

last longer than a standard 8-hour shift. Charging instructions are the same for the TDC150 and TGC150.
To charge the TC150:
- Plug the DC barrel plug on the adaptor cord into the connector on the back of the charging base.
- Plug the AC adaptor into a 120V AC wall outlet, making sure the AC outlet has power.
- Make sure the battery contacts and charge terminals are clean and in good condition.
- Drop the headset into a charging pocket. The headset will magnetically snap into the base. The headsets will only fit into the base with the neck facing right.
- The pocket LED will flash red when the headset begins charging.
- Charging time depends on the charge level of the battery.
- After charging is complete, the pocket LED will turn green.
NOTE: If the radio is not in use, it should be placed in the charging base. Please make sure all headsets are placed in the base after each shift.
NOTE: The TeamComm® system can be configured to fast charge the radio.
USE AND CARE
- Use only a soft, damp cloth to clean the radio.
- Do not use alcohol or cleaning solutions to clean the radio.
- Do not immerse the radio in water.
- Dry the radio with a dry lint-free cloth should it get wet.
- Place the radios in the charging base when not in use.
ABOUT RANGE
Your TeamComm system is designed to give you coverage up to 15000 square feet under optimum conditions. Optimum conditions are:
- Open dining room floor plan or area
- Open rural areas without obstructions
- Flat areas where you can see the other person to ensure you get maximum range.
- You are using fully charged batteries – a low battery will cause low power conditions
- Room temperature
NOTE: Proper repeater placement is important for maximum range.
WEARING YOUR TC150
The TC150 is a single ear worn radio with an over the ear speaker. It can be comfortably worn on the right or left ear, just rotate the earpiece to the appropriate side. The best way to put on your radio is to thread the tail of the radio along the base of your ear. Make sure it is secure up against your head. Before starting your shift.
OPERATING YOUR TC150
- Powering On/Off
There is no on/off switch on the TC150. The radio is on whenever it is out of the charging base and the battery has sufficient charge:
1. Remove the TC150 from the charging base and the radio will power on.
2. Place the TC150 in the charging base and the radio will power off.-
Transmitting and Receiving a Call
To transmit a call on the TC150, use the PTT BUTTON:- Single press the PTT button and an open mic tone (single beep) will play to notify you that the TC150 is transmitting.
- Speak using a normal voice into the TC150 microphone.
- Single press PTT button once you are done speaking and a close mic tone (double beep) will play to notify that the TC150 is no longer transmitting.
NOTE: If you try to transmit a call while another user on your channel is transmitting a call, the closed mic tone will play.
To receive a call on the TC150, ensure the headset is securely on your ear with the speaker facing your ear canal and the appropriate channel is selected.
NOTE: The TeamComm system must be connected to transmit and receive calls. Ensure that the LED on the repeater is green and the system connection LED on the charging base is green.

Changing Channel
The TC150 is a four-channel radio. To change the channel, use the CHANNEL BUTTON:- Single press the CHANNEL BUTTON and a voice indicator will announce the channel selected.
- Continue to press the CHANNEL BUTTON until you are on the desired channel.
NOTE: The TC150’s channel can also be changed using the App.

Adjusting the Volume
The TC150 has ten different volume levels. To adjust the volume, use the VOLUME TOGGLE SWITCH.- To turn the volume up, press the TOP VOLUME TOGGLE SWITCH
- To turn the volume down, press the BUTTOM VOLUME TOGGLE SWITCH
LIMITED WARRANTY
Midland Radio Corporation will repair or replace, at its option without charge, any Midland transceiver which fails due to a defect in material or workmanship within two years for the TC150 and one year for the TRP150, TGC150 and TDC150 following the initial consumer purchase. This warranty does not apply to water damage, battery leak or abuse. Accessories have a two-year warranty from date of purchase, including any antennas, batteries, chargers, or headsets/earphones. This warranty does not include the cost of labor for removal or re-installation of the product in a vehicle or other mounting.
