Backup has arrived: meet your Blue by ADT Cellular Backup Bridge. To ensure your home’s security system continues to have a cellular backup, you must install the bridge before February 22, 2022.
Just follow the steps below:
- Plug in your Blue by ADT Cellular Backup Bridge in the same room as your LifeShield Base. The bridge’s Power LED will turn solid green.
- Wait for the bridge’s LTE LED to turn solid red and for its Sync LED to turn solid blue. This should take about 5 minutes.
- Open your Blue by ADT app and scroll down to History.
Make sure it says “Cellular Backup Bridge Successfully Added.”

Important safety information
- Set up in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Clean only with a dry cloth and do not expose the device to water.
- Do not place this device in a confined space such as a bookcase or similar unit without proper ventilation.
- Do not set up near any heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other devices (including amplifiers) that produce heat.
- The device contains a lithium-ion battery. Follow all local waste and recycling laws when disposing of the product.
- WARNING: This product contains chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer and congenital disabilities or other reproductive harm. Wash hands after handling.

Storage temperature: -22°F to 158°F (-30°C to 70°C)

accept any interference received, including interference that may cause
undesired operation.

—Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
—Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
—Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to
which the receiver is connected.
—Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.

This device has been tested and meets applicable limits for Radio Frequency
(RF) exposure.
This equipment should be installed and operated with a minimum distance of
20cm between the radiator & your body.
