Backup has arrived: meet your Blue by ADT Cellular Backup Bridge. To ensure your home’s security system continues to have a cellular backup, you must install the bridge before February 22, 2022.

Just follow the steps below:

  1. Plug in your Blue by ADT Cellular Backup Bridge in the same room as your LifeShield Base. The bridge’s Power LED will turn solid green.
  2. Wait for the bridge’s LTE LED to turn solid red and for its Sync LED to turn solid blue. This should take about 5 minutes.
  3. Open your Blue by ADT app and scroll down to History.
    Make sure it says “Cellular Backup Bridge Successfully Added.”

Important safety information

  1. Set up in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
  2. Clean only with a dry cloth and do not expose the device to water.
  3. Do not place this device in a confined space such as a bookcase or similar unit without proper ventilation.
  4. Do not set up near any heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other devices (including amplifiers) that produce heat.
  5. The device contains a lithium-ion battery. Follow all local waste and recycling laws when disposing of the product.
  6. WARNING: This product contains chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer and congenital disabilities or other reproductive harm. Wash hands after handling.

Storage temperature: -22°F to 158°F (-30°C to 70°C)
