Controls
- PHONE output accepts a 1/8″ (3.5 mm) TRS headphone plug.
- BATTERY STATUS LEDs display the current battery life. When a new battery is installed, and the power is turned on, the green LED will light. As battery life decreases, both LEDs will light, indicating that the voltage is between 6.8 and 7.3 V. When only the red LED is lit, the battery should be replaced.
- VOLUME knob adjusts the overall output to the headphones.
- BALANCE knob adjusts either the panning of a stereo source connected to both inputs, or the balance between mono sources connected to inputs L/1 and R/2.
- MODE button determines if the audio connected to inputs 1 and 2 are mixed in stereo or dual mono. In STEREO mode, the audio connected to INPUT (L) is routed to the left side of the headphones and the audio connected to INPUT (R) is routed to the right side of the headphones. In MONO mode, the audio connected to INPUTS (L) and (R) are routed to both sides of the headphones, and the volume level between the two sources is adjusted with the BALANCE knob.
- The ON/OFF button turns the power on and off.
- DC IN accepts a 9 V power adapter.
- INPUT (L) accepts signals via XLR cables, which are either routed to the left channel in stereo mode or to channel 1 in mono mode.
- INPUT (R) accepts signals via XLR cables, which are either routed to the right channel in stereo mode or to channel 2 in mono mode.
