App Installation
REQUIREMENT
A 2.4GHz Wi-Fi connection to the Interne! is required.
A Smarlphone is running IOse 10.0 or higher or AndroidM 4.4 or higher
Make sure you insfall and sefup the lales! version ol the App on your
smariphorne. then lollow the sleps. Process may sighily change according lo
APps updale.
WARNING
The setup process may blink the light for a short period of time, which may
cause discomfort or photosensitive seizure. We recommend do not directly look
at
the blinking light or placing a cover over the light until successfully
pairing up.

GET STARTED
- Download the SmartLlife App from the App Slore or Google Play to your mobile device
- Launch the SmartLife App. Login f you already have an account
- To register, enter your email address. Create a password, then select Gel vertical code to receive a verification code by email. Log in to the app after finishing the verification
(SmartLife works with Google. Facebook, and Apple D 3rd party one-click login and registration. You can simply use your Google Account Facebook Account or Apple lD for begin and no need to register a new account)
VERIFY YOUR NETWORK COMPATIBILITY
- Verify your network and ensure your mobile device is connected to a 24 GHz Wi-Fi network.
- Check your router instruction or consul the router manufacturer 1or detailed guide to how 1o change wireless settings f you don t have a 24 GHz Wi-i network
- Once you have successfully configured your smart devices to a 2.4 GHz network. you can switch back to 5 GHz channel (or mixed mode) or use a cellular data network to
Oniro your smart aevices.
ADD A DEVICE
- Install your smart LED recessed light kit by following the installation guide.
- Launch the Smartline App, then select the symbol on the top-right corner.
- Select your product type and follow the instruction within the App.
- EZ Mode
* Turn power on and off 5 times (on-off, on-off, on-off, on-off, on-off, on). The downlight should be blinking rapidly.
* Check Confirm Light Blinks Rapidly. The app will automatically recognize the Wi-Fi through the mobile device.
* Enter the password when prompted and ‘confirm when done.
2. AP Mode
* When in configuration AP mode, the light will blink slowly.
* Enter the password when prompted, low the steps and select the device AP name in your phone s Wi-Fi network Options.
* Wait for the configuration to complete, this should take no more than 30 seconds.
By default, the App will try to set up the connection by the “EZ Mode”; however, if the connection fails, try using the “AP Mode”.

CONTROL FROM THE APP
- Once all lights have been added you can group them together for all-in-one control.
- Click info on the smart device you wish to control. You can adjust brighłness and customize the color of the light (Brighłness, Color, Light Scenes, Schedules).
- Click Ai Scenes in the menu fab. you can create and see automatic light schedules.
SETUP VOICE ASSISTANCE F OM THESMARTLIFEAPP
- Launch the SmartLife App.
- Select “Profile”, select “Integration”, choose your voice assistant and then follow the instruction on the page. (Process may slighitly change according to App’s updale.)
Control Your Litedge SMart Devices From Google Home
- Open the Google Home App from your Android or IOS device.
- Tap the to set up device button in the top-left corner.
- Select ‘Works with Google’ from the “Set up device’ page, and search for LITEdge from the list of Google Home Control partners.
- Authorize your account with Google Assistant using the username and password from app
- Link the devices and Google Home App then you can control the recessed light devices using voice control
AT any time.go into the Home control section of the google Home App to set
nicKnames and rooms tor your devices. YOu can rename your devices in the app
and Google

Control Your Litedge SMart Devices From Amazon Alexa
- Download Alexa App.
- Go to skils in the menu
- Search for SmartLife. Then tap ENABLE TO USE
- Authorize your account with skils using the username and password from app.
- Choose “DISCOVER DEVICES
- Link the devices and Alexa App then you can control the recessed light devices using voice control.
YOu can rename your devices in the app and Alexa will return to them by the
same name. You can also assign a switch fo a specific room or place. you
create an Alexa
group. like Bedroom or Downstairs, and add the device to the group. or more

TROUBLESHOOTING

Can not connect to Wi-Fi?
Make sure you entered the correct Wi-F password during the Wi-Fi setup. Check if there is an internet connection problem. Check if the Wi-Fi signal is too weak to set up -
Can this product use outdoor?
You can place this light inside or in a protected area outside, Bul please keep it away from direct water or weather. -
Do I need Hub or Zigbee?
No hub is required. You can connect the product directly to your Wi-Fi network.

Go to the user profile panel (the left panel named Me) and select Home Management, then click the home you want to share (eg. John’s home) to enter the Home
engs page. -
In the home setting page. select! ‘Add Member”, then you can share your home control privileges by adding other’s SmartLife accounts or invite them by text message or
email. -
Device Removing

Open the SmartLife App Click on the icon and then tap Remove Deviče.

When the device is removed successfully, the LED indicator will start to blink rapidly.
NOTE: REMOvING THE DEVICE WILL ERASE THE CONNECTION SETTING OF THE SMART LIGHT. YOU MAY NEED TO PAIR IT AGAIN TO RECONNECT. -
Reset fo Factory Settings
for pairing. select the device to enter More” and tap ‘Restore Manufacture Delauls” to restore the factory setting and the LED indicator will flash. -
Reset the Device
To reconnect fo Wi-F1, hold down the reset press switch on-of-on-of-on-of-on. -
Reset once (turn the switch: on-of-on-off-on-off-an) to reach Z mode, indicated by a rapidly blinking white light

Reset again (turn the switch: on-off-on-off-on-off-on) to reach AP mode, indicated by a slowly blinking white light.
