ROCKSHOX AirWiz Suspension Sensors User Manual

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

You must read and understand the Safety Instructions document included with your product before proceeding with installation. Improperly installedcomponents are extremely dangerous
and could result in severe and/or fatal injuries. If you have any questions about the installation of these components, consult a qualified bicycle mechanic. This document is also available on www.sram.com.

Tools and Supplies

Highly specialized tools and supplies are required for the installation of your SRAM components.
We recommend that you have a qualified bicycle mechanic install your SRAM components.

SRAM AXS App

Download the SRAM AXS app, available for free in the app stores. Use the app to create your account, add your components, and customize your SRAM AXS experience.

AirWiz will measure your suspension air pressure and display it in the SRAM AXS app.

Through the app, you will also be able to:

  • Change settings for your
  • Receive notifications for new product features and firmware
  • Access product data and recommended service intervals.

AirWiz First Time Startup

AirWiz must be taken out of Transport mode before it can be used for the first time. Press and hold the AirWiz button for 5 seconds on each AirWiz component to exit
Transport mode. The LED will start blinking to indicate that the change was successful.

NOTICE

Do not allow water to enter the electronics compartment while the top cap cover is removed.

SRAM AXS App Connection

Bounce the bike once or twice to wake up AirWiz. Open the SRAM AXS App on your smartphone. AirWiz will show up as a discoverable component. Select it in the app to add it to your list of sensors.
Repeat this for any other AirWiz sensor installed on your bike.

AirWiz Usage

Remove the air valve cap.
The app will suggest a recommended target air pressure based on your rider weight and bicycle setup, Inflate the fork or shock to the desired pressure.
The app will display the current air pressure as you add or release air.

Once the desired air pressure has been achieved, remove the pump, then install the valve cap and top cap cover (fork AirWiz).

To check the air pressure status, bounce the bike to activate AirWiz. The LED will illuminate within 2-3 seconds and display the current air pressure status. The current air pressure can be viewed in the AXS app. Note: unweight the suspension for an accurate reading.
AirWiz must be “awake” to connect to the SRAM AXS app, but does not have to be connected to the app while riding.
AirWiz will turn off and enter a “sleep” state after 5 minutes of inactivity.

AirWiz LED

To check the air pressure status, bounce the bike to activate AirWiz. The LED will illuminate within 2-3 seconds and display the current air pressure status..

Battery Batterie Pila

Maintenance

Clean AirWiz with a damp cloth to wipe off dirt and debris. Make sure the top cap cover is installed prior to cleaning AirWiz

NOTICE

Do not use a pressure washer to clean.
Do not use acidic or grease dissolving agents. Chemical cleaners and solvents can cause permanent damage to the electronics
