ArcheryDezign Bow Scale
Product Information
The Bow Scale is a measuring device designed for archery enthusiasts to measure poundage. It is equipped with multiple weighing units (lb/oz/kg) and features a gross/tare/zero function. The scale has a low power design, allowing for longer battery usage time. It also includes a hold function to lock the weight, an idle mode and automatic power off function, and a low- battery detection and warning system. The scale has a 6-digit 0.7-inch tall LCD display with backlight for easy reading. The keyboard and display are splash-proof, and the scale comes with a stainless steel wall mount bracket. The indicator can be powered by 3 AAA batteries or the included DC power supply.
Product Usage Instructions
- Safety Precautions
- Ensure the indicator rests on a stable surface.
- Do not exceed the rated load limit of the unit.
- Do not step on or jump on the scale.
- Do not use the product if any of the components are cracked.
- Use the scale only for measuring poundage.
- Do not keep the charger plugged in once the battery is fully charged to avoid damaging the battery.
- Make sure the weight is not over the Max capacity to prevent damage to the load cell.
- Power Supply
- The indicator uses 3 AAA batteries, which last for about 30 hours with the backlight turned on. If the backlight is turned off, the batteries can last up to 100 hours.
- If using the included DC power supply, the indicator will not use battery power. Plug the adapter directly into the DC pin located at the back of the indicator.
- Display and Key Description
- The ON/OFF key powers the indicator on or off when held for 2 seconds.
- The PEAK WEIGHT key is used for peak weight measurement.
- The ZERO key zeros the scale, TARE key tares the scale, and UNITS key shifts between weighing units (kg/lb).
- The display shows various meanings such as zero, stable, gross weight mode, net weight mode, peak weight mode, weight in pounds, ounces, kilograms, and low battery indication.
- Operating Instructions
- Powering On or Off: Press the ON/OFF key for 1 second to power on. The machine will self-inspect and count from 1 – 9 before entering weighing mode and displaying 0. Press the ON/OFF key for 1 second to power off. The display will auto power off when it has low battery. Auto power-off in 10/20/60 minutes with no operation can be set in the parameters.
- Zero/Tare: The zero function is used when the scale is empty but not at gross zero due to material build-up. If the weight on the scale is within the zero range (2% of the max. capacity) and stable, pressing ZERO will zero the scale and keep it in gross weighing mode. The tare function is used when you only want to see the current change in weight. If the scale is out of the zero range (above 2% of the max. capacity) and stable, pressing ZERO will tare the scale and switch it to net weighing mode.
- Peak Weight: The peak weight function is used for materials testing, such as tension and pulling force. Press the PEAK WEIGHT key, and HOLD should appear on the display. Start drawing the bow to measure the highest weight.
