Remote Controller (RC-16)
The Remote Controller is used to arm the system in-home or away mode, disarm
the system and send a panic signal.
**Identifying the parts

BUTTON
Press this button to arm the system in a way mode. -
BUTTON
Press this button to disarm the system. When an alarm is activated, press the button to stop alarm -
BUTTON
Pressing this button will arm the system in home mode. -
BUTTON
Press and hold this button for 3 seconds to send a panic signal regardless of system mode
< NOTE>
The panic alarm cannot be stopped after activation by pressing disarm button on Remote Controller. -
LED INDICATOR (Red & Green)
Red Flash: Transmitting signal
Green Flash : Receive acknowledgment and mode change success confirmation from the panel
Red Quick Flash 8 Times: Receive acknowledgment and mode change fault from a panel
Red ON for 5 seconds : Receive acknowledgment but no mode change confirmation/fault from the panel
Red Flash 6 times: Failed to receive any acknowledgment from the panel -
BATTERY COMPARTMENT
The Remote Controller uses one CR2032 3V mAh Lithium battery as its power source. The low battery status will be sent to the Control Panel along with the regular signal transmission, and, the Control Panel will display the status accordingly.
< NOTE>
When changing the battery, after removing the old battery, press any button twice to fully discharge before inserting the new battery.
When a low voltage battery is inserted, the LED will flash 3 times to indicate a low battery.
Getting Started
- Remove the battery cover.
- Insert the battery with the unmarked side (negative) of the battery facing down.
- Secure the cover.
- Put the Control Panel into learning mode, refer to the Control Panel manual for detail.
- Press any buttons on the Remote Controller.
- If the Control Panel receives the Remote Controller signal successfully, it will display the information accordingly.
- Please refer to your Control Panel manual to complete the learning process.
