The attachments 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5, which are included, are generally suitable for diabetics as they are only intended for use over larger areas and not spot treatment.
In contrast, attachments 6 to 10 are less suitable for diabetics. Always work very carefully. If you have any doubts, consult your doctor. -

-
The device may heat up faster during prolonged, intensive use, for exam-ple to sand off calluses on the feet. Allow the device to cool down for a relatively long time between individual applications to prevent skin burns. For your own safety, continuously check the heat development of the de-vice. This applies in particular to persons that are not as sensitive to heat as others.

The device is suitable for private use, and not for medical or commercial purposes.
-
For hygienic reasons, the device may only be used on one person.
-
The manufacturer is not liable for damage resulting from improper or in-correct use.
-
Keep packaging material away from children to avoid danger of suffoca-tion.
-
Check the device frequently for signs of wear and tear or damage. If there are signs indicating the above or if this device was used improperly, it must be returned to the manufacturer or retailer before further use.
-
In the event of defects and operational faults, switch off the device imme-diately.

Never attempt to repair the device yourself!
-
Only use the device with the supplied accessories.
-
Never leave the device unattended when it is in operation, in particular if there are children nearby.
-
Do not use on animals.
-
Do not allow the device to come into contact with water (except in the case of cleaning with a slightly damp cloth). Water must never enter the device. Never submerge the device in water. Never use the device in the bath, in the shower, in a swimming pool or above a sink filled with water. If water enters the housing of the device nevertheless, immediately dis-connect the device from the mains supply and contact your electronics retailer or Customer Services.

Hands must always be dry when using the device and mains part plug.
-
Do not pull on the mains cable or on the device to disconnect the mains part plug from the socket.
-
The mains part plug must only be operated using the voltage specified on it.

Device description
- Manicure/pedicure device
- +/- speed regulation
- Speed setting display
- LED display for direction of rotation (red for anti-clockwise rotation; green for clockwise rotation)
- Sliding switch for clockwise/anti-clockwise rotation and off position
- LED light
- Storage bag
Initial use
This manicure/pedicure set is equipped with high-quality attachments. The
basic version includes 10 attachments made from a durable sapphire coat-ing
and polishing felt.
Together with three levels of adjustable speed regulation and clockwise/anti-
clockwise rotation, this allows for professional foot and nail care at the
standard of a pedicurist. All the attachments can be easily integrated into
the storage bag of the MP 64. The integrated LED light additionally creates
ideal light conditions during application.
To put the device into operation, proceed as follows:
- Remove the packaging.
- Check the device, mains adapter and cable for damage.
- Ensure that the cable does not pose a trip hazard while the device is be-ing charged.
- Connect the device to the mains. When doing so, the device must be switched off, with the sliding switch in the middle position. If the red/green LED above the sliding switch is flashing, this means the device is switched on, and therefore cannot be charged.
- Charge the device for approximately 3 hours before the first use.
- When the 3 blue charger indicator lights flash continuously, it means the battery is charging. Once all 3 LEDs are permanently illuminated, the device is fully charged. You can now begin using the device on battery power.
- If the blue LEDs flash quickly (1, 2 or 3 LEDs depending on the speed set-ting) during battery operation, this indicates that the battery is dead.
- You can charge the device by plugging it into the mains, or alternatively using the USB cable.
- One charge is sufficient for approx. 2 hours of cordless operation.
The light switches off automatically after 20 minutes.
Use
General
- This device is intended for the treatment of hands (manicure) and feet (pedicure) only.
- Make sure that the device is switched off beforehand.
- Select the desired attachment part and carefully press it onto the axle of the device. To remove, pull apart the attachment and the device in oppos-ing directions.
- Switch on the device by moving the sliding switch down (anti-clockwise rotation, LED lights up red) or up (clockwise rotation, LED lights up green).
- You can select the speed of the drive axle using the plus (+) and minus (-) buttons. Start each application at a low speed and then increase as required.
- Blue LEDs light up on the surface of the device depending on the select-ed speed.
- All filing and callus attachments are coated with a sapphire grain. This guarantees a long service life and ensures practically no wear.
- Do not press too hard and always carefully move the attachments to-wards the area to be treated.
- Move the device over the area to be treated and apply slight pressure while slowly moving the device in circles.
- Please note that the callus attachments show reduced performance on soaked or wet skin. For this reason, we ask that you do not soak the foot in water before treatment.
- To maintain natural skin protection, do not remove all calluses.
- Ensure the axle can always rotate freely. The axle must not be permanent-ly blocked, as otherwise the device will become too hot and may become damaged.
- Apply moisturiser to the treated areas after each use.
Important:
Check the results during the treatment. This applies in particular for diabetics as they have less sensitive hands and feet.
Attachments
Since the attachments are of a professional quality and improper use can lead
to injury, we ask that you handle the attachments carefully. At high speeds in
particular, we advise that you proceed with caution.
The following attachments are included with the device:
-
Sapphire wheel, fine
Fine sapphire wheel, for filing and treating nails. The special feature of this sapphire wheel is that the internal sanding disc rotates whereas the ex- ternal housing does not. This makes it possible to file nails precisely without the risk of burning the skin with the quickly rotating wheel. -
Sapphire wheel, coarse
Coarse sapphire wheel, for filing and treating nails. This attachment makes it possible to shorten even thick nails yourself. However, also take care during use as it quickly removes large areas of the nail. -
Sapphire cone
For removing dry or hard skin or calluses on the sole of the foot or heel, and treating nails. -
Felt cone
For smoothing and buffing the tips of the nails after filing and for cleaning the surface of the nails. Always use circular movements to buff the nails and never let the felt cone rest in one position as the friction can create a considerable amount of heat. -
Fine sapphire callus file
For removing calluses on the soles of the feet and heel. This attachment is intended for appli-cation on large areas. -
Crystal callus file
Coarse crystal callus attachment to quickly remove thick hard skin or large calluses on the sole of the foot and heel. -
Cylindrical cutter
For buffing rough surfaces and coarse smooth-ing of toenails. For this purpose, please place the cylindrical cutter horizontally on the nail surface and remove the nail layer by moving the device in slow circles. -
Flame-shape cutter
Removes ingrown nails. For this purpose, please carefully position the flame- shape cutter on the area to be treated and remove the necessary nail parts.
-
Nail cutter
The nail cutter is a precision tool. Please exercise care when using this attachment, as careless use can quickly result in injury. This attachment can be used to expose ingrown nails and cut dead nail parts. Operate the nail cutter at a low speed. -
Sapphire cutter, round
This accessory attachment is for carefully re-moving corns. If you are using this attachment, please keep in mind that you may soon pene-trate deeper into the skin when removing the skin layers of the corn, therefore damaging the periosteum -
Protective cap for nail dust
This attachment ensures nail dust and skin cells are collected.
When filing, always move from the outside of the nail towards the tip!Check the results regularly during the treatment. Stop treatment as soon as it becomes unpleasant.
Cleaning/maintenance
Always unplug the mains part from the socket before cleaning the device.
- Clean the device with a slightly damp cloth. If it is very dirty, you can also moisten the cloth with a mild soapy solution.
- For hygiene reasons, you may use alcohol and a cloth or brush to clean the attachments if required. Please dry carefully afterwards.
- Do not drop the device.
- Please make sure that no water enters the device. If this should happen, only reuse the device once it has fully dried out.
- Do not use any chemical or abrasive cleaning agents.
- Never immerse the device or mains adapter in water or other liquids.
