CHARGING THE CHAT MIXER’

Gently insert the Micro-USB end of the included charge cable into the charge port (FIG. 1) of the Chat Mixer-.

Gently insert the USB-A end of the charge cable into a powered USB source (not included).

While charging, the charge indicator LED (FIG. 2) will indicate the following:
SOLID ORANGE – Device is charging
SOLID WHITE – Device is fully charged
FLASHING ORANGE – Device needs to be charged
NOTE: The charge indicator LED will slowly flash orange once the battery goes below 10% charge level.
USING THE CHAT MIXER’

Plug your headset’s 3.5mm jack into the headset port (FIG. 2) of the Chat MixerTM.

Press and hold the pairing button (FIG.1) on the Chat Mixer’ for 2 seconds. The SYNC indicator LED (FIG. 2) will flash to indicate that the Chat Mixer’s’ is in Bluetooth® discovery mode.

Select “Bionik Chat Mixer” from your Bluetooth® discovered device list. Once paired, the SYNC indicator LED will glow solid and remain on during use.

Make sure that both volume knobs on the Chat Mixer’ are set to the lowest level, then plug the Chat Mixer’s 3.5mm AUX jack (FIG. 4) into your handheld console or console controller’s headphone port.

Gently raise the levels of both GAME AUDIO volume knob and BT AUDIO volume knob (FIG. 5) to customize what you hear in your headset.

To power off the Chat Mixer’TM, press and hold the pairing button until the SYNC indicator LED turns off.
NOTES:
- When experiencing any sound issues, please check the settings on your Bluetooth® device and console.
- Mind the source device volume – always set the source levels to medium/line level and then use the volume knobs on the Chat Mixer” to adjust levels further. Avoid loud audio that can damage your hearing, the Chat Mixer’TM, and your headset.
- The Chat Mixer’ will automatically find and pair with your device after the initial pairing.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
- Keep away from fire and high temperatures, never dispose of in a fire, and always recycle all electronics.
- Clean with dry cloth.
- Discontinue use if you suspect there is a malfunction. Please contact customer support for assistance or additional information.
- Keep all ports on the Chat Mixer’ free of debris and dust.
- Never force the Chat Mixer’ 3.5mm AUX jack into the console or controller. If the cable is damaged, discontinue use.
IMPORTANT SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
- Recharge the battery every 3 months when not in use to keep battery in best condition.
- Do not attempt to diassemble the product.
- Tampering with your device can result in damage to your product, void of warranty, and could cause injuries.
- Store and operate between 32°F -113°F.
- The internal battery must be recycled or disposed of properly. Contact your local waste management office for information on the proper disposal or recycling.
FAQ
Q: I have connected my Bluetooth° device and console to the Chat
Mixer’TM. Why can’t I hear anything?
A: Please double-check that your headset is fully plugged into the Chat
Mixer’. Slowly raise up the GAME AUDIO control and BT AUDIO control until the
sound volume is at an acceptable level.
A: Please double-check the volume levels on your Bluetooth device and console.
Q: The person that I am chatting with says that they can’t hear me. What
can I do?
A: Please check the app or console’s settings to ensure that the mic is
enabled and unmuted.
Q: The Chat Mixer’ is not automatically re-pairing to my Bluetoothce)
device. What should I do?
A: Please follow the steps in “USING THE CHAT MIXER”‘ to start a new pairing
with your Bluetooth(*) device.
