Always unplug the appliance after use.

If the appliance overheats, it switches off automatically. Unplug the appliance and let it cool down for a few minutes. Before you switch the appliance on again, check the grilles to make sure they are not blocked by fluff, hair, etc.

If the mains cord is damaged, you must have it replaced by Philips, a service center authorized by Philips, or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.

This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge
if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of

Introduction
The Philips Dynamic Volumebrush is an airstyler with automatic rotation system to help you create different styles, while keeping hair smooth and shiny. The mixed bristle brushes add volume and movement while the retractable brush creates defined wave without tangles. The styler’s unique tourmaline ceramic coating protects and revitalizes hair while you style. This special coating conducts heat effectively with no hot spots and adds shine with every stroke. (Only for HP8664, HP8666) Ionic conditioning prevents frizz, maximizes shine for your hair.

Use the Airstyler
We recommend that you practice the appliance using Low rotation speed ( b ) 2 to 3 times so that you can get used to how the rotation works.
Note
- Always let the appliance and attachments cool down before you connect or disconnect the attachments.
- The appliance is most effective on towel-dry hair.
- To prevent excessive pulling of hairs, the appliance is provided with a security feature. If the pressure of your hair on the brush exceeds a certain limit, the rotation slows down.

(Fig. A) Choose the brush attachment that best fits you’re desired hairstyle and snap it onto the styler.

(Fig. B) To remove the attachment, press the brush release button ( a ) and pull it off.

Comb through your hair and divide them into small sections. 3 Select the desired setting to switch on the appliance ( c ):

Care: Caring temperature with strong airflow to set your style.
High temperature with strong airflow for fast drying. -
Warm temperature with gentle airflow to protect damp hair from becoming too dry. Off.

(Only for HP8664, HP8666)The ion function is automatically activated when the appliance is switched on. The function provides additional shine and reduces frizz.
With 38mm / 50mm mixed bristle brushes
- (Fig. E) Place the brush into the hair tips. Press the rotation direction button ( d ), and roll up to the hair roots.
- Keep the brush at the hair roots until the hair is completely dry.
- (Fig. F) Press the rotation direction button ( d ) in the opposite direction and move the brush away from the hair.
- (Fig. H, I, J) To create flicks, press and hold the rotation direction button ( d ) while continuously brushing in either inwards or outwards direction to style only hair ends.
With a retractable bristle brush

(Fig. C) Turn the knob ( i ) to fully extract the bristles.

(Fig. K) Wrap hair tips once around the barrel.

(Fig. L) Once the hair is secure, press the rotating button ( d ) to
wind up the hair. -
Keep the brush in the position until your hair is completely dry. 5 (Fig. M) Turn the knob to retract the bristles and remove the brush
from your hair.
After styling:
Apply hair spray to your hair to fix the style for long-lasting results.
Styling Tips
- The brush attachments work best when hair is 80% dry.
- It is recommended to use a LOW-SPEED setting when styling with a retractable bristle brush.
- Take smaller hair strands for more defined results.
- To avoid hair from tangling, try instead to have short stops when using the rotation buttons to ensure hair is nicely rolled onto the barrel.
- (Only for HP8666) 38mm brush is suitable for all hair lengths, especially for those with bob hair or shoulder-length hair, while a 50mm brush works best for longer hair. Select a suitable brush before styling.
After use
- Switch off and unplug the appliance.
- Place it on a heat-resistant surface until it cools down.
- Clean the appliance and attachments with a damp cloth. Remove hairs and dust from the brush attachment with your fingers but never insert metal objects into the appliance for cleaning.
- Always use the protection cap ( l ) to store the mixed bristle brush attachments.
- Keep the appliance in a safe and dry place, free of dust. You can also hang the appliance with its hanging loop ( f ).
