Audio Switch on Steering Wheel

Some audio functions can be controlled by audio switch on steering wheel.

1. Decrease the volume

2. Increase the volume

3. Bluetooth mode: Enter bluetooth interface/ end the call
   Radio mode: Short press, enter next stored radio station. Long press, search towards high frequency automatically and play. Media mode: short press, next track I video. Long press, fast forward.

4. Bluetooth mode: End the call Radio mode: Short press, enter the previous stored radio station. Long press, search automatically towards low frequency and play media.
   Media mode: Short press, previous track I video. Long press, fast rewind.

5. Siri lode switching. Short press for mode switching, circularly switch between radio, USB music and bluetooth music etc.
   Press and hold for 3 seconds to wake up Siri function of Carplay (Carplay is connected).

In order to reduce the risk of accidents, special care should be taken during operating the audio switch on the steering wheel.

Introduction to Main Interface Operation

Starting-up prompt
After the multi-media system starts, the screen will display the starting-up animation, as shown in the figure below, display welcome screen before entering system.

Main interface function

Interface status bar

The top status bar displays air conditioning information as well as other function icon status information.

With bluetooth on, the icon is displayed. Connection status is marked when bluetooth device is connected.

Pull down menu interface

• Pull down from the status bar to enter the pull down menu interface.
•  The on and off of bluetooth function can be operated quickly.
• Volume adjustment part: Sliding the slider to the left and right can adjust the three volumes separately.
• Brightness adjustment part: Sliding the slider to the left and right can adjust the brightness.
• Press the arrow at the bottom to put back the pull down menu interface.
  Note: “Navigation Volume” only appears when the navigation function is installed, navigation function is optional.

Music

Multi-media provides USB music, local music and bluetooth music playback functions.

Music playing interface
Touch [ Music ] icon on the homepage interface to enter the main interface of the music player and display the current multimedia playing information.

• Touch “USB”, “Local” and “Bluetooth” button and select (the gravy part is disconnected and cannot be selected), after selecting the song successfully, return to the playing interface and update the playing source.
• Successfully select song in the right file lis Upholder, then enter playing interface and select the song.

Radio

Touch [ Radio] icon on the homepage interface and enter the radio interface.

Touch, search and switch to the previous valid radio station. During the searching process, the number of radio station varies until the valid frequency is found.

Ⅱ :Pause button, touch and play/pause the current radio station. Next valid radio station search button.
►► I : Next valid radio station search button Touch, search and switch to the next valid radio station. During the searching process, the number of radio station varies until the valid frequency is found.

[Close] : Touch to exit the radio broadcast and return to the homepage.
[ Band ] : Circularly switch between FM and AM.
[ Search ] : Search for the radio station.
Search will cover the originally stored stations. Search will be interrupted by touching the pause button during the searching process.

: Radio station storage button, touch and the current radio station will be stored in the favourite list, after storage is successful, icon changes to solid key, touch again to cancel the storage.

Touch the calibrator on the right side of radio playing interface and enter the following interface:

Touch the buttons [ <] , [> ] on both sides of the radio calibrator to fine- tune the current play radio station frequency; sliding the radio calibrator to the left and right to adjust the current play radio station frequency; and touch other interfaces to exit.

Telephone

Touch [Telephone] icon on the main interface to enter the telephone interface. When bluetooth is not connected, touch [ Bluetooth setting ] to enter the bluetooth setting interface; when bluetooth is connected, enter the dial-up interface by default.

Address book interface
Touch (Address book) button on the telephone interface and enter address book Interface.

Touch the search box to search for the desired contact name.
Touch the initials of the contact and quickly find the corresponding contacts.
Touch the contact, select and touch the target telephone number again and enter the call interface.
Hold the screen and drag to the left and right to check more contacts.

System Setting

Touch [ System Setting ] icon on the homepage interface to enter the system setting interface.
Drag the left of “System Setting” page up and down to display more setting contents.

System setting
Touch [System ] button on the system setting interface to enter the system setting interface.

• Language : Users can choose the required system language according to their preferences.
• Time format: Users can choose “12 hours” or “24 hours” system time format according to their preferences.
• Button sound: Users can choose off, low, medium and high button sound according to their preferences.
• Volume adjustment : Sliding the slider to the left and right can adjust four kinds of volumes including volume adjustment with speed, prompt tone, navigation: and telephone separately.

Display setting

Touch [Display ] button on the system setting interface and enter the display setting interface.

• Brightness: Dragging the slider to the left and right can adjust the brightness (Adjustment range is within O – 10)
• Driving playing video : It can control the on and off of driving playing video.
• Screen off: It can turn off the display, and wake up the screen by touching again.
• Screen off effect: Users can choose three kinds of screen effects including “digital clock”, “analog clock” and “black screen” according to their preferences.

Sound effect setting
Touch (Sound effect) button on the system setting interface and enter the sound effect setting interface.

• Drag small dotty adjust sound effect in sound playing area.
• Click “Reset” button to return to the default playing area.
• Equalizer: Seven sound effect modes including “standard”, “popular”, “rock”, “jazz”, “classical”, “vocal” and “custom” can be selected.

Bluetooth setting
Touch [Bluetooth ] button on the system setting interface to enter the bluetooth setting interface. When bluetooth is not connected, the mobile terminal searches for the name of bluetooth, then connect to bluetooth, when the matching is successful, the system displays the name of the matched device.

Personal setting
Touch [Personal setting] button on the system setting interface to enter the personal setting interface.

• Theme: Users can choose three system themes including “classic”, “sports” or “technology” according to their preferences.
• Wallpaper: Touch “Wallpaper” button on the personal interface and enter wallpaper interface.

Touch the picture and enter the picture preview interface, touch application to set it as the background, touch cancel will exit the preview and return to the wallpaper selection interface.

System update
Touch [System update] button on the system setting interface to enter the system update setting interface .

• Version update: Users can choose USB update according to their personal needs.
• Version information: Display the relevant version information of the head unit and refer to the vehicle for details.

Restore factory setting
Touch (Restore factory setting] button on the system setting interface to enter restore factory setting interface.

Touch “Restore factory setting”, then prompt window occurs, then confirm whether to restore factory setting and complete the operation, pop-up window disappears.

Vehicle Setting

Touch [Vehicle Setting] icon on the homepage interface to enter vehicle setting interface.

Vehicle body setting
Touch [Vehicle body setting] button on vehicle setting interface to enter vehicle body setting interface.

Touch “Restore Vehicle Setting” to restore the vehicle factory setting.

Phone Link

Apple CarPlay
Usage precondition

1. Use iPhone.
2. Method to turn on on-board mode on phone: iPhone-Setup-General-CarPlay on-board-Select ‘only USB’ on popup window.

Exit
Click “PEUGOT” logo to exit application screen.

Android Auto

Usage precondition

1. Use an android phone supporting all Google services.
2. Install Android Auto application from “Google Market” in advance.

Connection method

1. Connect vehicle device and mobile phone using USB cable.
2. On vehicle device extension screen, click “Android Auto” icon to open link.

Mirror Link

Usage precondition

1. Use an android phone supporting Mirror Link function.
2. Query supported phone models on Mirror Link official website in advance.

Connection method

1. Connect vehicle device and mobile phone via USB cable .
2. On vehicle device extension screen, click “Mirror Link” icon to open link.

After mobile phone is connected to vehicle via USB, some functions are available, such as map, phone, music, voice, counter control, etc.

File Management

Touch [ File Management] icon on homepage interface to enter file management interface.

Local storage: Check the files in the local hard disk and touch the relevant operations.
USB: Check the files in external USB device, and touch the relevant operations.
After checking the files, you can perform deletion, copy, cut and other operations.
