INPUTS

START

4.1 Place the Omnia where you intend to use it and connect Power Cable.

4.2 Press the Control Line (On/Off).

SET UP

When the Control Line (Play/Pause) is white blinking, the speaker is ready to configure.
5.1 iOS devices
Using Wi-Fi Settings:

  • Open Settings then Wi-Fi settings
  • Touch Omnia-xxxxxx under Set up
  • to connect with
  • Touch Next and then Done

Using HOME App:

  • Install/Update Home App
  • Open Home App
  • Press Add Accessory
  • Follow the wizard to set Wi-Fi

5.2 Android™ devices

  • Install/Update Google Home App
  • Open Google Home App
  • Press speaker
  • Follow the wizard to set Wi-Fi

Please Note: Omnia and your device must be connected to the same Wi-Fi network. Omnia supports both 2.4Ghz and 5.2Ghz Wi-Fi Bands.
5.3 Bluetooth

  • Press the Inputs button on the remote control until the Control Line LED flashes with a blue light
  • Select Omnia-xxxxxx from the list of Bluetooth devices
  • When the blue LED of the Control Line has a fixed light, Omnia is ready to play your music

5.4 Ethernet

  • Connect your router to Omnia via Ethernet cable

PLAY MUSIC

Press the inputs button on the remote to change input. The Control Line will change color as feedback. See the online Owner’s Manual for further details. The selected input is indicated by the LED color of the Control Line.

  • Bluetooth (blue)

  • HDMI ARC (orange) IMPORTANT: ensure the TV output is set to PCM

  • Phono (pink) IMPORTANT: Ensure the phono cartridge is a magnet moving (MM) with 2.4mV to 5.0mV output

  • Streaming Apps (white):
    – AirPlay (white)
    – Chromecast built-in (yellow)

    – Spotify (green)
    – Roon (purple)

    – Tidal (light blue/turquoise)*

  • Once the user connects the streaming App, the relative color will Appear on the Omnia Control Line.
    NOTA BENE: Keep the original Omnia packaging for future transport. Clean Omnia after disconnection using a slightly damp soft cloth.

and using your Omnia.
This symbol Is intended to alert the user to the presence of uninsulated “dangerous voltage” within the product’s enclosure that may be of sufficient magnitude to constitute a risk of electric shock to persons. This symbol Is intended to alert the user to the presence of important operating and maintenance (servicing) instructions in the literature accompanying the appliance.
Important Safety Instructions

  1. Read these instructions – All the safety and operating in­ instructions should be read before this product Is operated.

  2. Keep these instructions – The safety and operating in­ instructions should be retained for future reference.

  3. Heed all warnings – All warnings on the appliance and in the operating instructions should be adhered to.

  4. Follow all instructions – All operating and use instructions should be followed.

  5. Do not use this apparatus near water
    – The appliance should not be used near water or moisture

  6. Clean only with a dry cloth.

  7. Do not block any ventilation openings. Install In accor­ dance with the manufacturer’s instructions.

  8. Do not install near any heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other apparatus (including ampli­ fiers) that produce heat.

  9. Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized plug, 1f provided. A polarized plug has two blades one wider than the other. The wide blade or the third prong is provi­ ded for your safety. If the provided plug does not fit into your outlet, consult an electrician for the replacement of the obsolete outlet.

  10. .Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched particularly at the plugs, convenience receptacles, and at the point where It exits from the apparatus.

  11. Only use attachments/accessories specified by the ma­ manufacturer.

  12. Unplug the apparatus during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time.

  13. .Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. Serv1cIng Is required when the apparatus has been damaged in any way, such as; the power-supply cord or plug Is da­ damaged, liquid has been spilt or objects have fallen into the apparatus, the apparatus has been exposed to ram or moisture, does not operate normally, or has been dropped.

  14. CAUTION: Servicing instructions are for use by qualified service personnel only. To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not perform any servicing other than that contained In the operating instructions unless you are qualified to do so.

  15. Do not install this equipment in a confined or built-in space such as a bookcase or s1m1lar unit. The equipment must remain in well ventllat1on cond1t1ons. Ventilation should not be impeded by covering the ventilation openin­ gs with items such as newspaper, tablecloths, curtains etc.

  16. WARNING: Only use attachments/accessories (such as the battery etc.) specified or provided by the manufacturer.

  17. WARNING: Refer to the information on the underside of the enclosure for electrical and safety information before installing or operating the apparatus.

  18. WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock do not expose this apparatus to rain or moisture. The ap­ apparatus shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing and objects filled with liquids, such as vases, shall not be placed on the apparatus.

  19. CAUTION: Danger of explosion if battery Is incorrectly replaced. Replace only with the same or equivalent type.

  20. WARNING: The battery shall not be exposed to excessi­ ve heat such as sunshine, fire or the like.

  21. WARNING: The appliance coupler Is used as a disconnect device, the disconnect device shall remain readily operable.

  22. WARNING: DO NOT INGEST THE BATTERY. CHEMICAL BURN HAZARD.

  23. This product contains a coin/button cell battery. If the battery Is swallowed, It can cause severe internal burns in Just 2 hours and can lead to death.

  24. .Keep new and used batteries away from children. If the battery compartment does not close securely, stop using the product and keep It away from children.

  25. If you think batteries might have been swallowed or pla­ used inside any part of the body, seek immediate medical attention.

  26. When the apparatus Is not in use or during its reloca­ on, take care of the power cord and plugs; e.g. tie up the power cord with a cable tie or similar. The tie must be free from sharp edges and the like that might cause abrasion of the power cord. When put into use again ensure the power cord and plugs are not damaged. If any damage is found the power cord and plugs should be replaced by items ei­ ther specified by the manufacturer or that have the same cha­ characteristics as the original items.
    This equipment Is a Class II or double insulated electrical appliance. It has been designed In such a way that It does not require a safety connection to electrical earth.

  27. This lightning flash with an arrowhead symbol within an equi­ lateral triangle is intended to alert the user to the presence of non-insulated “dangerous voltage” within the product’s enclosure that may be of sufficient magnitude to constitute a risk of electric shock. WARNING: To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not remove the cover (or back) as there are no user-serviceable parts inside. Refer servicing to qualified personnel.

  28. The exclamation point w1th1n an equilateral triangle Is intended to alert the user to the presence of important operating and maintenance instructions In the literature accompanying the appliance.

  29. CAUTION: To prevent electric shock hazards, replace grille. (CSA 60065, clause 5.3A) – This product can be recycled. Products bearing this symbol must NOT be thrown away with normal household waste. At the end of the product’s life, take It to a collection point designated for recycling of electrical and electronic devices. Find out more about return and collection points through your local authority. The European Waste Electri­ cal and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) D1rect1ve was imple­ mented to dramatically reduce the amount of waste going to landfills, thereby reducing the environmental impact on the planet and on human health. Please act responsibly by recycling used products. If this product Is still useable, consider giving It away or selling It.
