Xtreme Mats 11×25.5 Leak Activated Water Sensor Alarm
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTION
Club Car DS and Villager ONLY
The Xtreme Clips work by securing the Xtreme Mat to the aluminum trim piece
under the dash. (A.)
The wide opening arm of the clip (Front) hooks over the outer trim edge of the
Xtreme Mat and the long slim edge (Back) slides behind the aluminum trim
piece.
Installing the Xtreme Mat:
Before installing the mat, be sure the golf cart is turned off Lay the mat in the cart. Fit the mat around the foot pedals by starting from left to right utilizing the slit in the mat to widen the opening enough to get around the brake pedal first and then the gas pedal. The mat is intended to fit snugly around the pedals. Be patient and work the mat back and forth until it’s settled around the pedals. Align the top of the mat with the aluminum frame piece under the dash (Right Image). If you have cup holders, slide the mat behind the cup holders as well, you will have to slide the mat behind the 3 fins on the back side of the cupholders. With the Xtreme Mat well situated and flat, install the Xtreme Clips in the locations designated on the diagram featured on the back or wherever necessary to create a secure fit.
Installing the Xtreme Clips
Take the wider hook arm of the clip (Front) and place that against the inside
lip of the outer trim of the mat and swing the clip over the top edge of the
mat so the slimmer hook (Back) is behind the mat.(C.) Pinch the clip down
tightly on the trim piece. The slimmer hook (Back) will slide behind the
aluminum frame piece securing the mat in place. (B.) With the clips firmly
clamped along the top edge of the mat, pull the mat down slightly and guide
the back of the clips down and back up behind the aluminum frame piece. You
will receive 4 clips with your mat purchase and they can be placed anywhere
under the dash as necessary.
Recommended clip locations are pictured in the diagram below. Additional or
replacement clips can be purchased at

Installation on the following makes:
- Club Car Precedent, Onward, Tempo
- E-Z-GO, Yamaha, ICON, Advanced EV, and 6-Passenger Carts
- The Xtreme Clips work by securing the Xtreme Mat to the OEM (manufacturing) flooring under the dash.
- The long arm of the clip goes underneath the factory flooring and the small arm hooks over the trim edge of the Xtreme Mat.
Installing Xtreme Mats with a factory dashboard
- Before installing the mat, be sure the golf cart is turned off. Lay the mat in the cart by going around the foot pedals carefully and up under the dash. With the Xtreme Mat in place, look under the dash to find the edge of the factoring flooring and pull the mat and the factory flooring slightly away from the frame of the cart. Take the short arm of the clip with the slightly hooked edge and place that against the inside lip of the trim piece. With the long arm facing away from you toward the factory flooring and the short arm pressed against the lip of the trim, pull the manufacturer flooring together with the Xtreme Mat and swing the clip around and slide it under the manufacturing flooring. Press the flooring back down into place once it has been secured to the Xtreme Mat. The two mats will now be clipped together like the illustration below. You will receive 4 clips with your purchase and they can be placed anywhere under the dash where you are able to access the edge of the factory flooring to attach them.
- The picture below only shows how the clip attaches the Xtreme Mat to the factory flooring, not where it should be attached. The clips go anywhere along the top of the mat where it meets the dash, not on the sides of the cart.
Installing Xtreme Mats with an aftermarket dashboard:
- If you have an aftermarket dashboard, loosen the dash screws slightly using a T20 or T25 star bit. You will NOT need to install the Xtreme clip if your dashboard covers the top part of the mat.
- Loosen the dashboard to make room for sliding the mat slightly underneath it. The dashboard should cover the top of the mat slightly, holding it in place and the sides should be tucked behind the cup holders. Retighten the screws after installation.
- If you have an aftermarket dashboard that does not cover the top of the mat or one without cup holders on both sides, the mat may need to be secured in those places. We recommend heavy-duty adhesive Velcro dots or strips. This will secure the mat in place while also being easily removed.
Installing 6-Passenger Mats
- The installation process is the same for the front row mat, and no clips are required for the 2nd row.
- If trailering your cart, please remove the second row, or secure it with straps.
