Setting Up {Connection and Measurement)

  1. Use the supplied charging cable

  2. Download and Install the application on your smartphone
    Application name:

  3. Connect the HDMI input (eARC/ARC) terminal of the TV to the output terminal of the processor unit

  4. Carry out the measurement In a quiet environment. Keep your head still, and don’t talk during the measurement.

  • Connect using the supplied setup cable

  • Turn on the power of the processor unit and headphones

  • Connect the processor unit to the smartphone via Bluetooth

    • Press and hold the [SOUND MODE/PAIRNG] button for about 3 seconds until the [BT CONNECTION] starts flashing in white

    • Select “JVC XP-EXT1 P” from the device list.

    • Connection is complete after the [BT CONNECTION] indicator lights up in white.

    • If the [BT CONNECTION] indicator does not light up in white, start up the app.

  • Put on the headphones

    • Put on the headphones so that they fit snugly around the ears by covering the ears completely with the ear pads and adjusting the angle of the ear cups.
    • Face straight ahead during the measurement.
  • Start up the app and take the measurements Tap the !START MATCHING] button

  • Disconnect the setup cable

Viewing

  1. Turn on the power of the headphones

  2. Switch the input source

  3. Play the audiovisual device for viewing

  • Adjust the volume level
    • Adjust by touching and sliding up or down.
    • You can also adjust the volume from the app.
  • Turn off the power of the headphones
