LOCATION OF CONTROLS

A. Removable Comb Guide Attachment
Use the comb guide attachment to vary the length of stubble when trimming. For an extremely close trim remove the comb guide attachment completely.

B. On/Off Switch
Use the on/off switch to operate and begin trimming.

C. Power Indicator LED
The power indicator LED lights up when charging, indicating that the unit is charging. The LED does not turn off to indicate when charging is complete.

D. Power Cord
Plug the power cord into a suitable USB power source.

E. Battery Compartment
Easily removable AA rechargeable NiMH battery which can be replaced by an Alkaline AA battery

  • Read all instructions carefully
  • For Household Use only. Not intended for commercial use.
  • Only for use indoors.
  • Before plugging into mains socket, check whether supply line voltage and current rating are in compliance with the rated electrical parameters shown on the rating label.
  • Keep away from hot surfaces, such as gas or electric hobs and ovens etc.
  • Not for use with animals.
  • To prevent damage to the mains cord, do not let it pass over sharp corners, edges or hot surfaces.
  • If the supply cord is damaged, do not use. Check before each use!
  • If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by a special cord or assembly available from the manufacturer or its service agent.
  • Always unplug when not in use.
  • To prevent against the risk of electric shock, do not submerge any part of this appliance in water, unless advised in this manual.
  • Animal clippers, hair clippers, and appliances for manicure and pedicure can be used by children aged from 3 years under supervision.
  • Shaver, wet shaver, animal clipper, hair clipper, and appliances for manicure and pedicure can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
  • Children shall not play with this appliance.
  • Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.

Suitable for cleaning under an open water tap.

DO NOT
Do not use for any purposes other than the appliance’s intended use.
Do not use if any part of this appliance is damaged in any way.

WARNING
Detach the hand-held part of the supply cord before cleaning it in water.

  • Should this appliance fall into water, pull the plug out of the wall immediately. Do not place your hand in the water. The appliance should then be checked by a qualified electrician before use again!
  • When the appliance is used in a bathroom, unplug it after use since the proximity of water presents a hazard even when the appliance is switched off.
  • Use, charge and store the appliances at a temperature between 5°C and 35°C

IMPORTANT

DO NOT CHARGE IF USING ALKALINE BATTERY INSIDE, THIS MAY CAUSE THE BATTERY TO SWELL OR EXPLODE DAMAGING THE TRIMMER.

OPERATION

CHARGING

  1. Check battery inside to ensure it is a NIMH rechargeable battery before charging.
  2. Ensure the on/off switch is set to ‘off’ before attempting to charge.
  3. Plug the power cord into a suitable USB power source and connect it to the shaver at the charging connection point.
  4. The charging indicator LED will light up to indicate that the shaver is charging, but will not go off to indicate when fully charged.
  5. Leave the shaver to charge. This will take approximately 8 hours.

IMPORTANT: DO NOT CHARGE OR PLUG INTO USB POWER SOURCE IF USING AN AA ALKALINE BATTERY INSIDE, THIS MAY CAUSE THE BATTERY TO SWELL OR EXPLODE DAMAGING THE TRIMMER.

HOW TO USE

  1. Ensure the shaver is fully charged before use or attach the power cord and plug into the mains socket outlet to use as a corded trimmer.
  2. Alternatively remove the power cord and rechargeable battery, insert an Alkaline AA battery and use as battery operated.
  3. Check the blade is not damaged or dirty
  4. Avoid pressing into or striking the blade with any hard substances. Damaged blades can score your skin and create abrasions.
  5. Hold the Trimmer at a 45 degree angle to the desired area and trim in the opposite direction of your hair growth.
  6. Continue to trim until the desired hair is removed.

TIP: For the cleanest hair removal, pull your skin taut with one hand while trimming with the other hand.

USING THE COMB ATTACHMENT

Included with your trimmer is an adjustable comb attachment for trimming eyebrows/moustaches/beards etc. for 2, 4, 6, 8 and 10mm

  1. Ensure the Trimmer is turned ‘off’.
  2. Slide the appropriate side of the Comb attachment onto the Trimmer head. Be sure to align the grooves on the Comb attachment with the grooves on the Trimmer head.
  3. You can adjust the Comb attachment by sliding the attachment up and down to determine the length of the hair cut.
  4. To remove the Comb attachment, turn off the power, hold the upper centre of the unit and simply slide the Comb off.

There are 2 additional trimming guides with fixed 3mm and 5mm settings.

To Guarantee long life of the rechargeable battery, please observe the following guidelines.

  1. Charge and store the shaver at temperatures between 5°c and 23°c.
  2. Do not allow the shaver to be connected for over 20 hours to the power supply.

IMPORTANT: Prior to first use, test the trimmer on a small area of your arm or leg. If any sensitivity or allergic reaction occurs, discontinue use immediately. Do not use this trimmer on sensitive or irritated skin.

CLEANING AND CARE

MAINTENANCE
This appliance has been designed to operate over a long period of time with minimum of maintenance.
Continuous satisfactory operation depends upon proper care and regular cleaning.

STORAGE
Always store this appliance and cord in a moisture-free area. Do not wrap the cord of the charging adaptor around the appliance. Do not store in temperatures below 5°C or above 23°C. Failure to comply could cause damage to the product.

CLEANING
Remove any hair debris using cleaning brush after each use. Wipe appliance with a slightly damp cloth and dry with towel.

DO NOT
Do not submerse unit in water or any other liquid.
Use cutter oil or sewing machine oil on blades and operate for 5 seconds.

WEEE/ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION

DISPOSAL OF ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT
Do not dispose of this product with household waste. For the proper treatment, recovery and recycling please take this product to the appropriate waste collection point. If you are unsure where this may be, please contact your local authority. Improper disposal may be harmful to the environment.

PRODUCT END OF LIFE AND BATTERY DISPOSAL
The rechargeable battery contains substances that may pollute the environment. At end of life for the product, always remove the battery and separate before you discard the product at your local waste collection point. Both battery and product should be disposed separately.
If you have trouble removing the battery, then you should contact a qualified technician or authorized service center.
Contact your local authority for details and locations of official waste collection points. Do not dispose of batteries or product with normal household waste.
Remove the battery from the battery compartment before disposal.
