  • Allow the appliance to heat up for approximately 5 minutes. Apply a thin coating of cooking oil to the cooking plates and carefully rub it in with a paper towel. You only need to condition the cooking plates once, when used for the first time.
  • WARNING! The cooking plates will get very hot during use and immediately after use.

HOW TO USE YOUR PANCAKE MAKER

  1. Before using the appliance, clean the baking surfaces with a damp cloth. Dry it with a paper towel.
  2. Close the appliance and plug it into a mains power outlet socket. Both red power light and green working light will light up, indicating that the pancake maker is connected to the mains power and begins heating. The red power indicator will remain on until you unplug the appliance.
  3. It will take approximately 3 minutes to reach the recommended baking temperature. The green working light will go off when the pancake maker is ready for use.
  4. Open the appliance and brush the baking plates with a small amount of vegetable oil.
  5. Fill batter into the bottom baking plate. Ladle the batter to fill approx.1/3 of the bottom baking plate.
  6. Close the appliance. The green working light will turn ON when another baking cycle begins. The pancake will be ready after around 4 – 6 minutes.
  7. Open the appliance and check whether the pancake is sufficiently done. If you prefer it darker, continue baking until the desired color is achieved. When the pancake is ready, open the appliance and remove the pancake from the grid by using a heat-proof synthetic or wooden utensil.
  8. If additional baking is to be done, close the pancake maker to retain heat. Wait until the green working light goes off again before making more pancakes.
  9. After using the pancake maker, disconnect the power plug from the mains power socket.

NOTE:
Gently close the lid and ensure to lock the appliance with a click sound. Do not slam the lid down, as it may cause the mixture to come out of the mold.
Do not open the appliance during the first 2 minutes after filling in the batter. It will cause the splitting of the under-baked pancake and make it difficult to remove.
WARNING!

  1. Never use sharp forks or knives to remove the pancakes as this would damage the non-stick coating of the baking surface. Use heat-resistant wood or plastic utensils only.
  2. Always unplug the appliance from the power outlet socket when not in use.
