Here’s how it works

The magic bullet will blend for as long as you press the cup down onto the power base. To stop blending, simply release pressure on the cup. For hands- free operation, press down and gently turn the cup clockwise until the tabs lock under the lip of the power base. Once you are in lock-on mode, the motor will run continually. To turn it off, simply twist the cup back counter- clockwise and release the cup.

Magic bullet techniques

PULSE

If you’re looking to prepare foods with a chunkier texture, like fresh salsa or chopped onions, you should use this technique. Simply press the cup down on the power base, then quickly release. Let the blades come to a complete stop before pulsing again. Two to three pulses will generally yield a coarse, even chop, while more pulses create a finer texture.

SHAKE

These techniques are helpful when working with dense ingredients that don’t always distribute evenly when blending. If you find the ingredients at the top of the cup aren’t making it to the blade, try one of the following: – “cocktail shake”: remove the cup+blade from the power base, shake it like a cocktail shaker and return it to the power base. Repeat if necessary. “shakin’ pulse”: to coarsely chop ingredients for recipes like salsa, gazpacho, and tuna or chicken salad. Lift the whole magic bullet (power base and cup+blade) with both hands. Make sure one hand grips the cup while the other holds the power base. With force, shake the whole bullet downwards to force ingredients into the blade and pulse. Repeat if necessary. NOTE! The motor has to be switched off while shaking! – “tap it” is advised if ingredients are sticking to the sides of the cup. Take the cup off the power base and tap the cup+blade on the counter to force the ingredients down into the blades. Return to the power base and finish processing

NOTE

  • Never blend hot ingredients and liquids (max. 21°C).
  • To avoid leakage, don’t overfill the cup and make sure blade and cup are securely screwed.
  • Never allow the magic bullet to run more than 1 minute.
  • Never wash your blades in the dishwasher (too hot) and never remove the gasket.
  • Do not use your magic bullet, its parts and accessories in the microwave or freezer.
  • Take care of the power base; keep it clean and dry at anytime.
  • To maintain optimum performance please replace the blade every six months, or earlier as needed

Important

Signals that it’s about time to buy a new blade: in case of a bad smell, leakage of brown or green liquid, louder noise during blending, burning air (may also be novelty after purchase), or if the machine does notstart (which can also be caused by sticking of the activation points in the power base. Please keep clean with a damp cotton swab).
