10″ White Canister with Tubing Installation, Operation & Maintenance Guide
Model# 9000942
Thank you for purchasing an Aquatic Life 10″ White Canister.
When maintained properly, this unit will provide you with years of service.
OVERVIEW
This White canister is designed to work with most 10″ long x 2″ diameter
filter cartridges. It is important that water flows in on the left side and
out on the right side for proper operation.
Each end includes pre-installed ¼” Press Fittings for easy tubing connection.
OPERATING GUIDELINES
The maximum incoming water pressure for the unit is 80 PSI. If the pressure is
more than 80 PSI, a pressure regulator is required.
Do not allow the canister to be exposed to direct sunlight as this can affect
the canister integrity.

MOUNTING THE UNIT
The Aquatic Life white canister unit is designed to be mounted to a secure surface using the metal bracket. This will allow for easy cartridge replacement.
Step 1 – Use screws designed for the type of surface that the canister unit will hang on. Leave the screws extending about 1/8″ from the surface.
Step 2 – Hang the metal bracket on the screws. Tighten the screws to secure unit.
APPLICATIONS
This canister is ideal when supplemental filtration is needed for a Reverse
Osmosis (RO) and/or Deionization (DI) system since RO/DI units commonly use
the ¼” tubing size.
Examples of common 10″ x 2″ cartridges that work with this canister:
CUTTING TUBING
Use the included razor blade to ensure clean, even cuts of tubing. Never cut tubing with scissors, as they will pinch the tubing and may cause leaks.
REMOVING TUBING
Use the included collar tool to assist when pressing down on the locking
collars.
Step 1 – Remove blue clip
Step 2 – Use collar tool to press & hold collar while pulling out tubing.
INSTALLING THE CANISTER
Step 1 – Ensure the o-ring is seated properly inside the canister.
Step 2 – Thread the canister onto the housing and hand-tighten.
Step 3 – Use the included canister wrench to tighten 1/8 to 1/4 of a turn to finish tightening. DO NOT OVER-TIGHTEN.
