ONE-PULL SUSPENSION TRAUMA RELIEF STEPS
Description: The Honeywell Miller ONE-PULL Suspension Trauma Relief Steps
are directly positioned on each side of the H700 full-body harness. They
provide instant support and enhance blood circulation by allowing users to
quickly stand up in their harness and relieve the pressure being applied to
the arteries and veins around the top of the legs.
Training: It is essential that the users of this equipment receive proper
training, including detailed procedures for the safe use of such equipment in
their work application.
Rescue: This equipment provides suspension relief and is not a rescue
alternative. The user shall have a rescue plan and the means at hand to
implement it.
Inspection: Include the relief steps during the daily harness inspection
before use. Check for damage, wear, fraying, cuts, abrasion, burns, and knots.
When inspection reveals defects in or damage to this equipment, the equipment
shall be tagged as “unusable”, removed from service, and immediately
discarded.
Warning: While using this equipment after a fall arrest, remain vertical.
Do not attempt to lie down. All persons using this equipment must read,
