SPECIFICATIONS

All above specifications are test results based on ANSI/NEMA FL1-2009 Standards. The tests are performed using two AAA Alkaline batteries included with the product.

BEFORE FIRST USE

Before first use, please open the battery compartment, remove the battery insulating film, and ensure that the batteries are inserted following the direction of the positive and negative marks. When in use, please adjust the headlamp strap to wear it comfortably.

DANGER

DO NOT shine the light directly into human eyes. This may cause temporary blindness, or permanent damage to the eyes.

WARNING

Please ensure that the batteries are inserted following the direction of the positive (+) and negative (-) marks.
DO NOT power on the headlamp by mixing used and new batteries or batteries of different brands together.
DO NOT let children wear or use the headlamp unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

NOTICE

When using alkaline or carbon batteries, please replace the batteries once they are drained, to avoid potential battery leakage.
Before long-term storage, please take out the batteries from the light to avoid battery leakage.
The headlamp is IPX2 water-resistant. Please DO NOT expose it to the rain.
Please store the headlamp in a dry environment to extend its service life.

HOW TO OPERATE

Two Control Methods: The headlamp supports both button control and hand-wave control. While the button control is always available, the hand-wave control can be enabled or disabled by pressing and holding the button for more than 1 second while the light is on. Once this operation is successful, the light will flash twice.

BUTTON CONTROL

On: While the light is off, single press the button and the light will turn on high white light or constant red light according to the previously memorized mode.
Change Modes: While the light is on, quickly double press the button to change between the white light mode and red light mode.
White Light Mode: While the white light is on, single press the button and the output will cycle between high, medium, low, and OFF.
Red Light Mode: While the red light is turned on, single press the button and the output will cycle between constant red, flashing red, and OFF.

HAND-WAVE CONTROL

Standby: While the light is on, wave your hand in front of the light once to enter a hand-wave control standby mode.
On: While the light is on standby, wave your hand once to turn on the previously memorized output setting.
Off: While the light is on, wave your hand 10 times consecutively to power off the headlamp. When on standby, it will automatically power off after 10 minutes of no operation.
NOTES:
1. The hand wave should be conducted from a 5~20cm distance in front of the powered-on headlamp.
2. If you use the button control while the hand-wave control is enabled, the hand-wave control will be suspended for 1 second to avoid any interference.
3. While the hand-wave control is enabled, please do not put the headlamp into a pocket, on a lightly colored desk, or close to any surface with high reflectivity. Otherwise, it may fail to power off on its own and will keep turning on intermittently.

WARRANTY

Within 30 days of purchase: Contact the original seller for repair or replacement.
Within 2 years of purchase: Contact Olight for repair or replacement.
This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, modifications, misuse, disintegrations, negligence, accidents, improper maintenance, or repair by anyone other than an authorized retailer or Olight itself.
