SPECIFICATIONS

Power On/Off

Power On: Start your car and plug BH501 into cigarette lighter. It’ll turn on and its screen will light on. If BH501 is in power-off state while being electrified, short press any button on it to turn it on.

Power Off

Cut its power to turn it off. If BH501 is in power-on state, long press multifunctional button O. for 2s to turn it off.

Note
When BH501 is turned off via the multifunctional button it’s charging ports are still workable.

Light Adjustment

9 Light Colors: 7 single colors+ 1 RGB static color+ 1 RGB  dynamic color, Short press light button to switch 10 modes among Static RGB, Green, Red, Blue, Yellow, Cyan, Purple, White, Dynamic RGB and Light Off. Memory Function: It’ll remember the light mode before power off and display the same light mode when you reboot it.

Connection Instructions of Bluetooth/FM Tuning/ AUX Out

Step 1: Bluetooth Connection

Enable the Bluetooth function on your smart devices eg. Phone, Pad, etc. and search BH501 and connect it. You can use it after successful connection. When you use BH501 again, it’ll reconnect the last-connected device automatically. After successful Bluetooth connection, please appropriately turn up the volume of your device.

Step 2: AUX Out/FM Tuning

After your device is connected to BH501’s Bluetooth successfully, there are 2 ways for music output: AUX Out and FM Tuning. If your car is equipped with AUX In port, we suggest you connect BH501 to your car via the included AUX cable, so that you could get a better audio experience.

Output 1:FM Tuning
Output 2: AUX Cable Connection

If you have connected product with your car with a AUX cable, the default music output turns to AUX Out. Output 1: FM Tuning. If your car doesn’t have AUX port, please choose this way to connect. When you use BH501 for the first time, please adjust its blank FM frequency to be the same as that of your car (Not a frequency of local broadcast/A frequency without any broadcast/A frequency only with white noise). For seeking  better sound enjoyment, please make sure that the blank FM frequencies of BH501 and your car are the same every time you use the product (Not a frequency of local broadcast/A frequency without any broadcast/A frequency only with white noise. Adjust your car’s FM radio to a blank frequency. An empty frequency without any broadcast/A frequency only with white noise, e.g. FM 88.8. Long press light button for 2s to enter into FM tuning mode, and the LED digital display screen will display frequency and flash. Rotate the ring knob to adjust the frequency. Rotate clockwise/anticlockwise to increase/ decrease frequency and adjust it to be the same as that of car, eg. FM 88.8. After tuning, short press light button wait for 3s to exit from   tuning mode there are 2 other ways to adjust frequency

Method 2

Precise Tuning- Short press l/I button to increase/decrease frequency.

Method 3

Quick Tuning  Long press I / I button to increase/ decrease frequency. Output 2: AUX Cable Connection If your car supports AUX input, we suggest you use AUX cable to connect your car with BH501 for getting a better audio experience. Use one end of AUX cable to connect AUX Out port of BH501 and other end to connect AUX port of your car, and the sound will be synchronized to car’s speaker via the AUX cable.

Bluetooth Hands free Function

Please ensure successful input/out connection before using this function.

  • Answer the Call: Short press
  • Hang Up the Phone: Short press
  • Redial Last Number: Double pres
  • Reject the Call: Long press for 2 seconds.

Music Function

Please ensure successful input/out connection before using this function. After your smart device (eg. Phone, Pad, etc.) is connected to product’s Bluetooth successfully, if you play music on your device, the music will be synchronized to your car speaker via AUX cable or FM connection. The music playing operation is shown as follows

  • Play/Pause: Short press\. button.
  • Previous Track or Next Track: Short press I or I button.
  • Volume Up: Rotate ring knob clockwise.
  • Volume Down: Rotate ring knob anticlockwise

Voice Assistant

Double press I button to enter voice assistant. Double press I button to exit from voice assistant.

Charging Description

USB-A QC3.0 Quick Charge

For smart devices that do not support quick charge, the default output is 5V/2.4A. For smart devices that support quick charge, the maximum voltage and current of USB QC3.0 are DC 5V/3A, 9V/2A, 12V/1.5A.

Type-CPD 20W Fast Charge

USB Type-C supports PD 20W fast charge. The maximum charging voltage and current are DC 5V/3A, 9V/2.22A, 12V/1.67A.

Friendly Tips
For Android devices, when you’re going to use your voice to directly wake up the voice assistant, please turn up your phone’s and BH501’s volume to their maximum volume level first, and adjust the car speaker’s volume according to your needs. For iPhone, the instructions of Hey Siri function can refer to following

  • Turn on Siri settings on your phone.
  • Complete the voice recognition according to Siri instructions.

Note:
This function is not available for some phone bran (Supported phone brands are iPhone, Samsung phones original Android phones).

  1. Do not turn up your radio’s volume too loud in case o increasing its background noise.
  2. Although the transmitting power of our FM transmit strong, for ensuring the best sound effect, please try avoid adjusting to the frequency of local radio station strong signal.
  3. Do not use the product in too hot/cold, dusty or dam environment.
  4. Do not break or throw the product to prevent surface damage.
  5. Do not disassemble the product personally. Please co seller if you have any questions or problems.
