Introduction
Thank you for trusting our company and buying the new Boombox 3. We hope you
enjoy the product.
This portable Bluetooth speaker with CD player allows you to play CDs or music
from your smartphone like never
before. It features a USB MP3 player and FM radio to listen to your favourite
radio stations.
Before you start using your Boombox 3 we strongly recommend reading this
manual to get used to it.
Care and maintenance
- Do not expose your Boombox 3 to humidity or heat.
- Use neither corrosive nor abrasive cleaning products.
- Do not disassemble the device. All repair works should be carried out exclusively by qualified staff of Energy Sistem Technology, S.A.
- Do not place your Boombox 3 on a table edge or bookshelf in order to prevent falls.
- Switch off your Boombox 3 when not using it to avoid unnecessary energy consumption.

Main functions
Power supply
Plug the connector on one end of the provided power cable into the AC IN (1)
located on the back of your Boombox 3.
Once you’ve done this, insert the plug into your home wall socket.
If you prefer to take the device with you and enjoy your music without using
electricity, you can use 6 C/ LR14 1.5 V
batteries. Insert the batteries with the correct polarity into the Battery
compartment (2) located on the bottom of your
Boombox 3.
In both cases, the Display (6) of your Boombox 3 lights up and Clock mode is
enabled by default.
Switching on and off the device
To switch on the device, press On / Off / Playback mode (7). You will see that
the mode changes from clock mode to
playback mode on the Display (6). At this point, you can start enjoying your
music.
Press and hold On / Off / Playback mode (7) for 2 seconds to switch off the
device. You will see that Clock mode appears
on the Display (6).
Important: When switching off the Boombox 3, the Display (6) will go on
showing the clock, as long as it is connected
to a socket or powered by batteries.
Playback control
To select the preferred playback mode, press repeteadly On / Off / Playback
mode (7) until you find the mode you
prefer. Take a look at the Display (6) to see the different playback modes:
Bluetooth – FM radio -CD – USB – Line-in
Once you have selected the playback mode, you can manage music playback from
your Boombox 3. To do so, press
- Play / Pause (12) and Stop (13).
- Press Volume + (8) or Volume – (9) to adjust the volume and listen to your music with as much power as you want.
- Press Next (10) or Back (11) to switch to the next or previous track. If you can’t wait and prefer to skip songs faster,
- press Skip forwards 10 tracks (14).
Important: Bear in mind that you can only manage playback from the connected music player while using AUX mode
(audio-in).
Bluetooth
Once you have selected this mode, access the list of available devices on your smartphone or tablet and select Boombox 3. The devices will be connected without codes. Once the connection has been established, you will hear a confirmation sound. At this point, you will be able to start music playback on your smartphone or tablet. You can also manage music playback from the speaker itself. To do so, press Play / Pause (12), Next (10), Back (11),Volume + (8) and Volume – (9). Your speaker saves the last connected device and pairs with it automatically when you turn on the speaker once again, provided that Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone or tablet. To start a new Bluetooth search and pair your speaker with a different smartphone or tablet, press and hold Play / Pause (12) until you hear a confirmation sound. The Bluetooth wireless connection range is up to 10 metres.
CD
Open the CD compartment lid to insert the music CD you want to hear. Close the lid and wait a few seconds. Your Boombox 3 will start playing the CD content. Press Play/Pause (12) and Stop (13) to manage music playback. To adjust the volume, press Volume + (8) and Volume – (9). Press Next (10) or Back (11) to switch to the next or previous CD track. Press and hold the very same buttons if you want to fast-forward or rewind a song. To skip 10 songs at a time, press Skip forwards 10 tracks (14). Press Next (10) or Back (11) for 2 seconds to switch to the next or previous folder stored on your CD. To enable shuffle mode, press repeatedly Repeat mode / FM Search (15)until you find it. The following repeat modes will appear on the Display (6):
- REPEAT 1: the song you are listening to will be repeated.
- REPEAT FOLDER: the folder with the songs you are listening to will be repeated.
- REP ALL: all songs will be repeated.
- RAND: random playback
FM radio
Once you have selected FM Radio mode, place the external antenna and press and hold Repeat mode/FM Search (15) for 2 seconds to start an automatic search of FM stations. The process may take a few minutes. Once the search has been completed, press Play / Pause (12) to select the radio station you want to hear from all saved radio stations. If you place the speaker somewhere else, we recommend carrying out a new search to obtain a proper radio wave reception. You can also press Next (10) or Back (11) to tune in to the preferred radio station manually. Once you’ve done this, press Save FM / Clock (16) to save it. Select the preferred location and press the very same button once again to confirm. Press Stop (13) to enable or disable FM stereo reception. Your Boombox 3 saves the last selected radio station when you turn it off and on once again
USB player
Play MP3 and WMA files from 128 GB USB sticks. Once the USB stick is connected, press On/ Off / Playback mode (7) to select USB mode and start music playback. Press Play / Pause (12) and Stop (13) to manage music playback. To adjust the volume, press Volume + (8) and Volume – (9). Press Next (10) or Back (11) to switch to the next or previous track. Press and hold the very same buttons if you want to fast-forward or rewind a song. To skip 10 songs at a time, press Skip forwards 10 tracks (14). Press Next (10) or Back (11) for 2 seconds to switch to the next or previous folder stored on your USB stick. To enable shuffle mode, press repeatedly Repeat mode / FM Search (15) until you find it. The following repeat modes will appear on the Display (6):
- REPEAT 1: the song you are listening to will be repeated.
- REPEAT FOLDER: the folder with the songs you are listening to will be repeated.
- REP ALL: all songs will be repeated.
- RAND: random playback
Important: We recommend not to remove the external storage unit while listening to music in this mode. Please change the mode or turn off the speaker.
Audio input
Your Boombox 3 also features an Audio-in (5) to connect external devices.
Important: You won’t be able to manage music playback from the speaker
while using this mode. To manage playback functions you will have to use the
connected music player.
Audio output
You can plug the preferred external music player into the Audio-out (3).
Clock
You can check what time it is on your Boombox Display (6). To set the time, enable clock mode on your speaker and press Save FM / Clock (16) for two seconds. After that, you will be asked which clock format you prefer (12h / 24h). Press Next (10) or Back (11) to select the preferred option and press Save FM / Clock (16)* to confirm. At this point, you will see the hours digits flashing. Press the very same buttons to select and confirm the preferred hour. Repeat the same steps to set the minutes.
Battery life
Your “Boombox 3” has a battery life of approximately 90 hours at medium volume level. This value is approximate since battery life depends on the selected volume level, the type of music and the batteries used.
