Camera installation & setup

Power on the camera and wait for about one minute until the LED indicator blinks in a three-flash repeating pattern

Install the MicroSD card by gently turning the camera lens so it points upward and inserting card into slot on side of camera assembly
Camera configuration
a. Open the Alula Security app
b. In the app, browse to Cameras, then tap the `+’ icon on the top right
of the screen and follow the on-screen prompts

Resetting the camera
a. Keep the camera power ON for one minute. Turn the camera and find the
reset hole, which is next to the MicroSD card slot
b. Insert a paper clip or pin in the reset hole. Press and hold the reset
button for five seconds, until the LED starts flashing
c. Wait for one minute until the LED indicator blinks in a three-flash
repeating pattern
Camera setting tips
a. In case you are mounting your camera on a wall, mount the camera
around 6 feet from the ground to obtain better detection accuracy.
b. Mount the camera on a vibration-free surface
Mounting instructions
a. Place the ceiling bracket on the mounting surface as a pattern to mark
the holes
b. Drill the mounting holes and anchors to secure the bracket to the wall
c. Fasten the camera to the bracket using the tapping screws
d. Hang the camera and plate onto the hanger screws e. Arrange cable
properly so that it will not block pan/tilt operation

must be disposed of according to the valid statutory regulations. Disposal of
spent batteries/accumulators: You are required by law (Battery Ordinance) to
return all spent batteries and accumulators. Disposing of spent
batteries/accumulators with common household waste is prohibited!
Batteries/accumulators that contain hazardous substances are marked with the
symbols on the side. These symbols indicate that it is prohibited to dispose
of these batteries/accumulators in the household waste. The abbreviations for
the respective heavy metals are: Cd=cadmium, Hg=mercury, Pb=lead. You can
return spent batteries and accumulators that can no longer be charged to the
designated collection points in your community, outlets or wherever batteries
or accumulators are sold. Following these instructions will allow you to
fulfill the legal requirements and contribute to the protection of our
environment!
