WARNING! BEFORE USING AIR TOOL PLEASE READ THIS INSTRUCTION MANUAL CAREFULLY.
ONLY QUALIFIED AND WELL-TRAINED STAFF ACQUAINTED WITH THE MANUAL CAN USEAND OPERATE THIS TOOL.

The operation manual contains the description, safety rules and all the information necessary for proper maintenance of FUBAG pneumatic tool. Please keep the operation manual and refer to it in case of any questions concerning safety operation, maintenance, storage and transportation of FUBAG tool. Nonobservance of the indicated recommendations may cause the damage of the tool and injuries of the user.

Safety rules

  • Sprays are high inflammable at atomization. Always refer to the operation manual before using it.
  • It is strongly recommended to use personal protective equipment to defend the respiratory apparatus from harmful impact.
  • Always wear protective spectacles during operation.
  • Always wear protective gloves during operation.
  • The noise level may exceed 85 dB depending on the adjustment used. It is recommended to use headphones during the operation.
  • Do not carry out any operations if the equipment is defective or worn out.
  • Direct the nozzle only at the cleanable surface.
  • Use the abrasive with the required features.
  • Never direct the flow of air and abrasive material mixture under the pressure at people, animals, electric equipment or susceptible to abrasive material impact  surface as the flow has cutting and abrasive properties.
  • The personnel carrying out closely related operations in the zone of the abrasive cleaning are to wear protective spectacles.
  • Check the line of the compressed air input line and the connectors for leakages.
  • Do not use the spare parts of the other manufacturers. Always use only original spare parts. Do not change the tool construction.
Danger:
  • Do not stay at the working area of the abrasive cleaning without any protective spectacles (closer than 15 meters).
  • Do not direct the pneumatic tool or flow of the compressed air at the people, animals or your own body.
  • Do not direct the flow of the compressed air at the compressor.
  • Do not work without any protective footwear. Do not touch the operating compressor with wet hands and/or feet.
  • Do not exceed the recommended operating pressure.
  • Do not install the spare parts of the other manufacturers and changeable nozzles.

Caution:

  • When connecting the pneumatic tool to the compressor hose always block the air escape cock.
  • Always follow the safety rules when using the compressed air. If revealing any faults immediately discontinue the operation.

Description

The gun for the abrasion of ejector type. It is supposed for dry abrasive jet cleaning of the surfaces with limited compressed air input and at low work volume. The tool is ideal for abrasive jet works in the tighten conditions and in the cases the use of pressure abrasive jet tool is not possible for some reasons.
The gun may operate with any abrasives (silica sand, fused alumina) for these operations; it can be also used for metal and stone cleaning, glass decorative finish.
The gun is equipped with the connecting pipes to connect with the pneumatic line and the tube for abrasive input. The structure of the receiving nozzle allows abrasive receiving both from rigid package and envelope (model 110116). The gun (model 110115) is equipped with its own abrasive tank. The cleaning process starts after pressing the start lever of the gun.
Operation principle of the gun: exhaustion is created in the vessel behind the air nozzle. As the result of it abrasive intake through the tube of the tank takes place. The abrasive gets into the vessel through the corresponding connecting pipe, then is mixed with the main airflow and taken out through the nozzle. At directing the air and abrasive tongue cleaning takes place.

Connection and operation

  • The equipment has protective coating. Flush the equipment with the proper solution before use.
  • The gun is designed for operation with dry and clean air. Taking into account compressed air may contain damp and foreign mixtures causing corrosion and untimely tear and wear of the pneumatic tool it is recommended to use a filter in the air line (moisture and oil separator). The filter is necessary to be installed as closer to the aerograph as it is possible.
  • The pressure in the air channel is to be maintained up to 3 – ,4 5 bars. Too low or too high pressure may cause the tool damage and make the quality of cleaning worse.
  • Check and if necessary change damaged and worn parts of the tool.
  • Make sure the cocking piece and the nozzle are in good working condition.
  • Connect the air hose to the air inlet. The recommended hose size is 8 mm.
  • Make sure the connections with the air inlet; the tank and the top (for model 110115) are tightened safely.
  • Prepare the abrasive. The tool can operate with the abrasive with the particles of ,1 6 mm diameter and less.
  • For model 110115 fill up the tank with the abrasive. Do not fill up the tank with less than 2/3 of its volume.
  • For model 110116 place the tip of the intake hose in the tank with the abrasive to 2/3 from the length of the intake tip.
  • Press the startup cramp to begin cleaning.
  • Hold the gun perpendicularly to the atomized surface. The slopes may cause irregular cleaning.
  • The recommended distance of the atomization is 200-300 mm.
  • Do not forget to switch off the compressed air intake after operation.

Maintenance

  • Disconnect the gun form the compressed air system.
  • Remove the unused abrasive into the proper container and clean the gun and the tank (model 110115). Blow the gun through with the compressed air.
  • Remove the cover of the nozzle and clean it.
  •  Make sure the nozzle is clean and not damaged. The new nozzle of 10 mm (model 110116) and 6 (model 110115) diameter. Change the nozzle when it is worn more than 1, 5 mm and in case the V abrasive intake is reduced immensely.
  • The stud and the air valve are to be lubricated every time before operation.

Troubleshooting

Fault Possible cause Correction
The abrasive won`t come Foreign material blocked the intake nozzle Clean

through the intake nozzle
The abrasive tube is blocked. If the abrasive tube is blocked it means that too much abrasive come.| Clean through the tube. Make sure the intake tip is in the abrasive not more than 2/3 of its length.
The abrasive jet nozzle is worn more than 1,5 mm| Change the nozzle
The air nozzle is worn| Change the nozzle
Bad mounting detail conjugation after assembling.| Carry out a quality assembling
The abrasive in the feed container has become caked. The abrasive is damp.| Change the abrasive. Use quality material.
There are leakages in the pneumatic tool, lack of the air.| Remove the leakages, provide sufficient pneumatic system efficiency.

Transport & Storages

In case of long term work brake it is necessary to keep the tool at the temperature of +5 … + 25°С and humidity not more than 70%. It is recommended to pour 10-20 ml of oil into it and blow it through with the minimal pressure.
During transportation and storage of the tool keep it away from damp. The tool should be kept in a dry, well air conditioned place. Do not expose it to damp, corrosive and dangerous gases and dust. After the package is unsealed the tool should be repacked in case of transportation to the workplace or for storage.

Warranty

Warranty refer to defects of materials and components and do not refer to components subject to natural wear and maintenance work.
Only machines cleaned from dust and dirt in original factory packing fully completed, provided with instruction manual, warranty card with fixed sales date with a shop stamp factory serial number and originals of sales and ware receipt issued by salesman are subjects of warranty. Within the warranty period the service center eliminate free of charge all detected production defects. The manufacturer disclaims warranty and legal responsibilities if nonobservance of the instruction manual by user, unqualified disassembling repair or maintenance of the machine as well does not bear responsibility for caused injury to persons or damages.
