• If the appliance is used in a bathroom, unplug it immediately after use. The proximity of water presents a hazard even when the straightener is switched off, for additional protection, the installation of a residual current device (RCD) having a rated residual operating current not exceeding 30 mA is advisable in the electrical circuit supplying the bathroom. Ask your electrician for advice.
• This straightener is hot when in use. Do not let eyes and bare skin touch heated surfaces.
• DO NOT place the heated straightener directly on any surface while it is hot or plugged in. Use the mat provided.
• DO NOT place the heated unit directly on any surface while it is hot or plugged in.
• Always store this appliance and cord in a moisture-free area. Do not store in temperatures exceeding 140°F (60°C).
• This appliance is for household use only.
• DO NOT plug or unplug this appliance when your hands are wet.
• DO NOT operate with a voltage converter.
• DO NOT use this straightener to style a wig made of materials that may burn easily.
• DO NOT use this straightener to style a wig that has been cleaned in material that may burn if it may still have some of the cleaner on or in it.

SERVICING OF DOUBLE-INSULATED APPLIANCES

In a double-insulated appliance, two systems of insulation are provided instead of grounding. No grounding mea ns is provided on a double-insulated appliance, nor should a m eans for grounding be added to the appliance. Servicing a double-insulated appliance requires extreme care and knowledge of the system, and should be done only by qualified service personnel. Replacement pa s for a double-insulated appliance must be identical to the pa s they replace. A double-insulated appliance is marke d with the words “DOUBLE INSULATION“ or “DOUBLE INSULATED.“ The symbol (square within a square) be marked on the appliance.

KEEP AWAY FROM CHILDREN SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS

This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). As a safety feature, this plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to defeat this safety feature.

Every product in the Revamp® haircare range is infused with Progloss super smooth oils – enriched with Keratin, Argan oil and Coconut oil for ultimate smoothness and shine.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

• Before use, ensure the hair is clean, dry, and tangle-free.
• For extra protection, apply a heat protection spray.
• Section the hair prior to styling. Style the lower layers first.
• Plug the product into a 120V AC electrical outlet.
• Press the on/off button to turn on.
• Use the touch temperature control + and – buttons to select your desired temperature manually or use the Hair Mode to automatically select the recommended temperature for your hair type:

• The temperature lock will activate automatically after a few seconds – a lock symbol will appear on the temperature display. To switch off the temperature lock to adjust the heat, press the on/off button once.
• We recommend using a lower temperature to start.
• Working on one section at a time, run the straightener through the entire length of the hair from roots to ends, without stopping. Use a comb while straightening for even straighter results.
• Repeat this process all over the head, allowing hair to cool before combing through.
• After using the straightener, turn off, unplug and allow to cool before storing away.

NOTE:

•  This is a high-performance product. Avoid frequent use to prevent hair damage.
• Regular use of styling products may deteriorate the ceramic brush.
• While heating, during use, and cooling, place on a heat-resistant surface. Only hold unit by the handle.
• DO NOT Scratch the surface of the product, as this will deteriorate the etfectiveness of the coating.
• The product reaches a very high temperature during operation. Please use caution while stvling. To avoid burns, keep away from the scalp and skin.

AUTO-SHUTOFF PROTECTION
This appliance has an automatic shutoff feature for added safety. If the appliance is on for more than 60 minutes continuously, it will automatically turn off. If you wish to temperature control to select your desired temperature.
CAUTION: This feature should not be considered as a substitute for off. ALWAYS REMEMBER TO TURN THE APPLIANCE OFF AND UNPLUG FROM THE ELECTRICAL OUTLET WHEN NOT IN USE.

CLEANING & MAINTENANCE

• Turn the appliance off, unplug from the electrical outlet, place on a heat resistant surface and allow to cool fully before cleaning.
• Wipe over all surfaces using a soft damp cloth. Do not use harsh abrasives or cleaners.
• DO NOT immerse the appliance in water and/or other liquid.
• Ensure all parts are dried thoroughly with a soft towel before reusing.
• To prevent cord damage, do not wrap the cord around the appliance, always store the cord loosely next to the appliance.
• Store in a cool, dry place.
• The appliance has no user-serviceable parts.

STORAGE

When not in use, unplug the unit. Allow it to cool, and store out of reach of children in a dry location. Never wrap the cord around the appliance, as this will cause the cord to wear rematurely and break. Handle cord carefully, and avoid jerking, twisting, or straining it, especially at plug connections.
