SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS
- This appliance is equipped with an automatic thermal limiter, which will cycle off when overheated and come back on when cooled down. If the unit cycles off, unplug the cord for several minutes before restarting.
- This appliance features a polarized plug with one blade wider than the other. As a safety feature, this plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to defeat this safety feature.
ALCI Safety Device
This hair dryer is provided with an appliance leakage circuit interrupter
(ALCI) safety device built into the plug. This device is designed to make the
unit inoperable under some abnormal conditions, such as accidental immersion
in water. The ALCI safety device is equipped with a test button so that its
operation can be checked. This unit should be tested before each use to
confirm that the safety device is operational. To test:
After plugging in your hair dryer:
- Press the reset button on the ALCI device.
- Press the test button. The reset button will pop out. This verifies that the safety device is operating properly.
- Press the reset button to reactivate your ALCI safety device.
- Your hair dryer is now ready for use.
This unit may automatically trip when unplugged. If so, the unit must be reset after it is plugged in. If the dryer doesn’t reset after following the above testing procedure, contact the manufacturer. Should the ALCI safety device trip (i.e., reset button pops out) during use, press the reset button. Should the hair dryer fail to reset, contact the manufacturer. Never operate this appliance if it has been dropped in water.

Styling & smoothing concentrator nozzles The concentrator nozzles allow you to direct and focus the airflow of the hair dryer for more precision in styling and drying. Direct the concentrator nozzle at your hair, allowing a few inches between the nozzle and hair. The super slim .24″ styling nozzle (1) can be used with a styling brush for easy voluminous styling and the .28″ smoothing nozzle (2) can be used for faster drying. To use the dryer with the concentrator nozzle, ensure the dryer is switched off and cool, then attach the concentrator nozzle by firmly clicking it onto the dryer barrel head (.28″ nozzle) or placing over the front end of the barrel head (.24″ in nozzle) until it is secure. When taking off the .24″ nozzle, please place your hand around the nozzle and pull it down or to one side in order to remove it (please see illustration). While styling the hair using the concentrator nozzles, please be aware of the increased temperature of the airflow of the hair dryer. Please use a low/medium heat setting when using the concentrator nozzles.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
