IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock and/or injury to persons, including the following:
- READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY.
- Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
- To protect against risk of electric shock, do not put toaster, cord or plug in water or other liquid.
- Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
- Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts and before cleaning the appliance.
- Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions or is dropped or damaged in any manner. Return the appliance to an authorized service facility for examination, repair or electrical or mechanical adjustment.
- The use of attachments not recommended or sold by the appliance manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock or injury and voids warranty.
- Do not use outdoors.
- Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter or touch hot surfaces, including the stove.
- Do not clean with metal scouring pads. Pieces can break off pad and touch electrical parts resulting in risk of electric shock.
- Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner or in a heated oven.
- Do not use appliance for anything other than its intended use.
- Oversize foods, foil packages, or utensils must not be inserted in a toaster because they may cause a fire or electrical shock.
- Do not operate toaster in an enclosed space, such as an appliance cabinet, caddy, garage, or other storage area.
- A fire may occur if toaster is covered or touching flammable materials, including curtains, draperies, walls, etc., when in operation.
- Failure to clean crumb tray may result in a fire hazard.
- Do not attempt to dislodge food when toaster is plugged in.
- Do not place pastry items with runny-type frosting or open filling in toaster.
- When heating toaster pastries, always use the lightest toast color setting.
- To protect against risk of fire, do not put rice cakes in this toaster.
- This appliance is intended for household use only and not for commercial or industrial use.
- Do not leave appliance unattended while in use.
- To disconnect, turn any control to “off” or “cancel”, then remove plug from the wall outlet.
- Do not use this appliance as a toy.

POWER CORD INSTRUCTIONS
- A short power-supply cord is provided to reduce the hazard resulting from entanglement or tripping over a long cord.
- Extension cords may be used if care is exercised. If it is necessary to use an extension cord, it should be positioned so that it does not drape over the counter or tabletop where it can be pulled on by children or tripped over unintentionally.
- If a longer detachable power supply cord or extension cord is used: The electrical rating of the extension cord must be the same or more than the wattage of the appliance (the wattage is shown on the rating label located on the underside or back of the appliance). The cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the countertop or tabletop where it can be pulled on by children or tripped over unintentionally.
- Avoid pulling or straining the power cord at outlet or appliance connections.
POLARIZED PLUG
- Your appliance is equipped with a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other).
- To reduce the risk of electrical shock, this plug is intended to fit into a polarized outlet only one way.
- If the plug does not fit fully into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it does not fit, please consult a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to defeat this safety feature by modifying the plug in any way.
WARNING: Improper use of the power cord may result in electric shock. Consult a qualified electrician if necessary.

To reduce the risk of fire:
- Do not operate while unattended.
- Do not use with food that has been spread with butter, jelly, frosting, etc.
- Do not use with rice cakes, fried foods, frozen prepared foods, or nonbread items.
- Do not use with toaster pastries. Always cook toaster pastries in a toaster oven.
- Do not cover or use near curtains, walls, cabinets, paper or plastic products, cloth towels, etc.
- Do not use in or near an appliance garage.
- Closely supervise when used by or near children.
- Clean crumb tray daily.
- Always unplug toaster when not in use.
Failure to follow these instructions can result in fire.
WARNING: This is an electronic appliance, not a toy!
To avoid risk of fire, burns, personal injury and electric shock it should not
be played with or placed where small children can reach it.
Not appropriate for use by children 12 years of age and younger.
Before Your First Use
Carefully unpack the Toaster and remove all packaging materials. To remove any dust that may have accumulated during packaging, simply wipe the Toaster exterior with a clean, damp cloth. Dry thoroughly. Do not use abrasive cleansers. Do not immerse the Toaster, cord or plug in water or any other liquid.

Operation
Selecting Toast Color
- The Shade Selector Dial is located at the back of your Toaster. Simply turn the Dial to the desired toast color; turn dial to the left for light toasting, or to the right for dark toasting.
- For your first toasting, it is best to position the Shade Selector Dial in the middle(vertical), and then adjust each subsequent toasting to your preference.
Toasting

Place your Toaster on a flat, dry, level surface. Plug into a working outlet.

Insert one slice of bread into each slot.

Press the loasting Lever downward until it locks into place. This will lower the bread into position and automatically begin toasting. Ihe toast will pop up when it has reached the selected color. (For best results, allow toaster to cool tor one or two minutes between toasting cycles.)
NOTE:The Toasting Lever will not lock into place if toaster is unplugged. Lights and sound will engage for the first 10 seconds and the last 10 seconds of the toasting cycle. If you wish to turn this feature OFF, see “ON/OFF” button on the bottom of the toaster. -
The bagel button is used to toast items such as bagels or English muftins. Bagels and English muffins are thicker and take longer than regular bread to toast. When this feature is selected, the toaster will adjust the toasting time.
Should you desire to stop the toasting before reaching the selected color, press the Cancel button, and the toast will pop up. -
When you press the Toasting Lever down at the start of the toasting cycle, or when you use the Cancel Button to raise the toast, you may notice a small flash of light in the toast slot at the end opposite the toasting control.b This flash ot light, caused when the power switch opens and closes, IS normal with any high-wattage appliance.

Push the toasting lever up to remove smaller slices of bread.

Unplug toaster when not in use.

Cleaning and Care
Be sure the Toaster is unplugged and completely cooled before cleaning. Wipe the Toaster exterior with a clean, damp cloth. Dry thoroughly. Do not use abrasive cleansers. Do not immerse Toaster, cord, or plug in water or any other liquid.
The Removable Crumb Tray is located on the bottom of your Toaster. Pull out
the Crumb Tray (see illustration). We recommend emptying crumbs over a sink or
waste bin as crumbs will fall when the Crumb Tray is released.
When replacing the Crumb Tray, make sure it is correctly aligned before
sliding it back into place.
NOTE: Empty the Crumb Tray after every use to prevent the hazard of fire.
WARNING: Never operate the Toaster without the Crumb Tray properly in place.
Removing Lodged Toast
If a piece of toast becomes lodged in the Toaster, unplug the Toaster and
allow to cool. Turn the Toaster upside down, and gently shake the toast loose.
WARNING: Never use a fork or sharp-edged utensil to remove toast as it may
damage the heating element or cause injury.
ONE YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
UNCANNY BRANDS, LLC warrants, subject to the conditions stated below,
that from the date of purchase, this product will be free from mechanical
defects for a period of one (1) year.
UNCANNY BRANDS, LLC, at its option, will repair or replace this product found
to be defective during the warranty period. Should this product become
defective by reason of improper workmanship or material defect during the
specified warranty period, Uncanny Brands, LLC will repair or replace the same
affecting all necessary parts replacements for a period of one year from the
date of purchase.
Transportation charges on parts, or products in whole, submitted for repair or
replacement, under this warranty, must be borne by the purchaser.
CONDITIONS: This warranty is effective only if the product is purchased
and operated in the USA. This warranty is valid for the original retail
purchaser from the date of initial retail purchase and is not transferable.
Keep the original sales receipt. Proof of purchase is required to obtain
warranty service or replacement. Dealers, service centers, or retail stores do
not have the right to alter, modify or in any way, change the terms and
conditions of this warranty.
Warranty registration is not necessary to obtain warranty on Uncanny Brands,
LLC products. Save your proof of purchase receipt.
ABOUT YOUR PRODUCT WARRANT)’; Most warranty repairs are handled routinely, but sometimes requests for warranty service may not be appropriate. For example, warranty service would NOT apply if the product damage occurred because of misuse, lack of routine maintenance, shipping, handling, warehousing or improper installation. Similarly, the warranty is void if the manufacturing date or the serial number on the product has been removed or the equipment has been altered or modified.
NORMAL WEAR: This warranty does not cover normal wear of parts or damage resulting from any of the following: Negligent use or misuse of the product; Improper voltage or current; Use contrary to the operation instructions; Deviation from instructions regarding storage and transportation; Repair or alteration by anyone other than UNCANNY BRANDS, LLC or an authorized service center. Further, the warranty does not cover Acts of God, such as fire, flood, hurricanes and tornadoes.
UNCANNY BRANDS, LLC shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages caused by the breach of any express or implied warranty. Except to the extent prohibited by applicable law, any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose is limited in duration to the duration of the above warranty. Some states, provinces or jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages or limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitations or exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state or province to province.
HOW TO OBTAIN WARRANTY SERVICE: A defective product meeting the warranty
conditions set forth herein will be replaced or repaired at no charge in
either of two ways:
The first, which will result in exchanges only, is to return the product to
the retailer from whom it was purchased (provided that the store is a
participating retailer). Returns should be made within the time period of the
retailer’s policy for exchanges. Proof of purchase may be required. Please
check with the retailer for its specific return policy regarding time limits
for returns or exchanges.
The second, which will result in either repair or replacement, is to contact

A Customer Service representative will attempt to resolve warranty issues and
may require your assistance in performing routine diagnostic procedures. This
warranty is effective for the time periods listed above and subject to the
conditions provided for in this policy.
