This symbol is used on the product to indicate caution and that instructions should be read before use.

  1. Read, follow and retain these instructions – All the safety and operating instructions should be read before this product is used and retained for future reference. All  warnings on the appliance and in the operating instructions should be followed

  2. Failure to install or use the product in accordance with these instructions may impair the safety of the product and invalidate the warranty.

  3. Use only the power supply listed in this user manual to power the equipment and do not use the power supply for any other purpose.

  4. The direct plug-in adapter is used as a disconnect device, the disconnect device shall remain readily operable and accessible.

  5. Do not remove screws from or open the product casing. Product repairs are only to be carried out by competent and authorized personnel. Do not use the product if any damage is noticed.
    1. Keep the product away from direct sunlight and from heat sources such as radiators, heaters, or other appliances that produce heat.

  6. Do not expose the product to naked flame sources, such as lighted candles.

  7. Ventilation should not be impaired by covering the product or power supply.

  8. Clean only with a dry cloth.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE

  1. Do not subject the unit to excessive force, shock, dust, or extreme temperature.
  2. Do not tamper with the internal components of the unit.
  3. Clean your unit with a dry cloth. Solvents or detergents should never be used.
  4. Avoid leaving your unit in direct sunlight or in hot, humid, or dusty places.
  5. Keep your unit away from heating appliances and sources of electrical noise such as fluorescent lamps or motors.
  6. If drop-outs or interruptions occur in the music during CD play, or if the CD fails to play at all, its bottom surface may require cleaning. Before playing, wipe the disc from the center outwards with a good soft cleaning cloth.

CLEANING THE UNIT

  • To prevent fire or shock hazards, disconnect your unit from the power source.
  • The finish on the unit may be cleaned with a dust cloth and cared for as other furniture. Use caution when cleaning and wiping the plastic parts.
  • If the housing becomes dusty, wipe it with a soft dry dust cloth. Do not use any wax or polish sprays on the housing.
  • If the front panel becomes dirty or smudged with fingerprints it may be cleaned with a soft cloth slightly dampened with a mild soap and water solution. Never use abrasive cloths or polishes as these will damage the finish of your unit.

ON WATERPROOF PERFORMANCE OF THE THIS PRODUCT

  1. The water resistant specifications of this product are equivalent to IPX4 in IEC 60529 “Degrees of protection against ingress of water (IP Code)”, which specifies the degree of protection provided against the entry of water. The product cannot be used in water.
  2. Unless the unit is used correctly, water may get into this product and cause fire, electrocution, or malfunctions. Note the following cautions carefully and use the unit correctly.
    IPX4: Protected against water splashing from any direction.

Liquids that the water-resistant performance specifications apply to Applicable:
Freshwater, tap water
Not applicable:
Liquids other than those above (examples: soapy water, detergent water, water with bath agents, shampoo, hot spring water, pool water, seawater, etc.)
The water-resistant performance is based on measurements performed under the conditions described above. Note that malfunctions resulting from water immersion caused by customer misuse are not covered by the warranty.

To maintain water-resistant performance
Carefully note the precautions below to ensure proper use.

  • Do not splash water forcibly into the sound output holes.
  • Do not let the unit fall into the water, and do not use it underwater.
  • Do not allow the product to remain wet in a cold environment, as the water may freeze. To prevent malfunction, make sure to wipe off any water after use.
  • Do not place the product in water or use it in a humid place such as a bathroom.
  • Do not drop the unit or expose it to mechanical shock. Doing so may deform or damage the product, resulting in deterioration of water resistance performance.
  • Use a soft dry cloth to wipe off any water that gets on the product. If water remains in the speaker output holes, the speaker may become muffled or completely inaudible.  If this happens, position the Speaker holes facing downward, and shake several times to get the water out.

GETTING STARTED

ACCESSORIES INCLUDED
Carefully remove the unit and all accessories from the package.
Please verify that you have all the following accessories before recycling the gift box.

Type-C cable

  1. Connect the Type-C cable to the Type-C port.

  2. Connect the other end of the Type-C cable to a power outlet, using a USB power adapter. You can also charge the battery by connecting to a computer’s USB port. The charging indicator shows the battery charging.

  3. Press and hold the Power button to turn on the unit. Press and hold the Power button again to turn to standby mode.
    Before you switch it on for the first time, charge the battery for at least 3 hours.

  4. In standby mode Press and hold the POWER Button for 3 seconds or Power ‘off’.

ADJUSTING AND MUTING THE VOLUME
Turn the Volume dial to increase or decrease the volume.

CD OPERATION

Press the SOURCE button repeatedly on the unit
INSERTING A CD
Press on the CD Door Lock (20) to open the CD door. Insert a CD with the printed surface facing forward.

  1. Place an audio CD on the center spindle with its label side facing out

  2. Please insert CD to the axis securely

  3. The unit starts to read the disc, and “CD READING” shows on the display. When playing track 1 and pressing the pause button, the total number of tracks and the total time of the  CD will be shown on the LCD DISPLAY

  4. If there is no disc or the disc can’t be read, “NO DISC” will show on the display.

TO PAUSE PLAYBACK

  1. Press the button to pause the playback.
  2. To resume playback, press the button again.

TO STOP PLAYBACK
Press the STOP button to stop playback.

SKIPPING TO ANOTHER TRACK

  • Press the or buttons to skip backward to the beginning of the track or previous track or skip forwards to the next track.
  • Press and hold the or buttons to perform fast forward/reverse playback.

PLAYBACK MP3/WMA DISC WITH FOLDER MODE ON
To play back CD-R/RW.

  1. Press the SOURCE button, and load an MP3/WMA disc.
  2. Press the FOLDER button and select desired playback folder.
  3. Select the desired file to be played back by pressing the or button.
  4. Press the button . Playback will start and the file name will be displayed.

REPEAT PLAYBACK

  1. During playback mode, press the PLAY MODE button “ ” will show on the display. The CD will play the current track repeatedly.
  2. Press the PLAY MODE button twice, “ will show on the display. The CD will play all tracks repeatedly.
  3. Press the PLAY MODE button once more again, The “ ” indicator will show on the display. All tracks will be played randomly. Press the or buttons to playback the next random track.
  4. Press the PLAY MODE button once, the RANDOM function will turn off.

PROGRAMME SETTING
Users can program up to 20 tracks in CD mode or 99 tracks in MP3 in any desired order. Program mode is activated while in STOP mode.

  1. Press the PLAY MODE button to enter program mode.
  2. Press the or buttons to select the track that you want to preset.
  3. Press the PLAY MODE button to confirm the track.
  4. Repeat steps 2-3 to program more tracks. Once it is completed, press the button to start the playback of the programmed tracks.

PROGRAMME CANCEL
To cancel the program, press the STOP button twice, or open the disk tray and then close it again.

USB OPERATION

  1. There is a USB socket located on the right-hand side of the unit. When a USB device is connected to the unit, press the SOURCE button and select USB mode.
  2. The unit will automatically display the total number of tracks.
  3. All playback features are the same as if you were playing an MP3 CD.

NOTE:

  • The unit can only play MP3/WMA file format in USB operation.
  • If your USB device is loaded with MP3/WMA but the display keeps showing “NO USB” on the display, the format of your USB device might not be compatible with the  unit (for example MP3/WMA files protected by DRM)
  • This unit supports USB versions 1.1 and 2.0.
  • The unit can support USB devices with up to 32GB of memory.
  • The unit may not be compatible with all USB devices and memory cards, this is not an indication of a problem with the unit.

FM OPERATION

To switch the unit to FM mode, press the SOURCE button to switch to FM mode. The display will show the frequency.

  1. Tap the POWER/STANDBY Button to turn on the unit.
  2. Tap the SOURCE Button and select FM mode, and the FM radio frequency appears on the display.
  3. To manually tune to a specific radio station, tap the TUNE or Button on either main unit. Use the manual tuning method to tune in weaker stations that are bypassed during Automatic Tuning.
  4. To automatically tune to the next available radio station, press and hold the Button for 1-2 seconds until the frequency readout on the display begins to scan, and then release the button. The tuner will stop scanning when it receives the next broadcasting station of adequate signal strength.

HINTS FOR BEST RECEPTION:
FM – For best FM reception, the FM lead wire antenna located on the back of the unit should be fully unwrapped and extended.
NOTE: Automatic tuning depends on the signal strength of the broadcasting station, so weak stations may be skipped. You can manually tune to find the weak stations if a  station gets skipped. With strong signals, the tuner may stop before it reaches the actual broadcast frequency, so you may need to manually tune for the best reception.

PRESET STATIONS
You can store up to 20 FM radio stations for quick access.
To quick-store a station to a preset button (1-2)
Tune to the FM radio station you want to store. Press and hold one of the numbered Preset buttons (1-2) for two seconds until you see a message to confirm that the preset has been stored.

To store a station to the preset list (3-20)

  1. Tune to the FM radio station you want to store.
  2. Hold the 3+ button to view the numerical list of stored presets, then turn and press the Select dial to choose any Preset number between 3 and 20. You can overwrite existing presets.

To recall a preset when listening to FM radio

  1. To tune to Presets 1 to 2, press the corresponding numbered button on the front panel.
  2. To access presets 3 to 20 on the front panel press the 3+ button, turn the Select dial right or left to scroll through the list of presets, then push and release the Select dial to tune to the selected preset.

SETTING ALARMS AND TIMERS

CLOCK SETTING

  1. In standby mode, press and hold the CLOCK button. The data digits flash on the display.

  2. Press the or buttons to adjust the year digits, and then press the CLOCK button to confirm. The month digits will flash on the display.

  3. Press the or buttons to adjust the month digits, and then press the CLOCK button to confirm.
    The day digits will flash on the display.

  4. Press the or buttons to adjust the day digits, and then press the CLOCK button to confirm. The 12/24H digits will flash on the display.

  5. Press the or buttons to adjust the 12H/24 digits, and then press the CLOCK button to confirm.
    The hour digits will flash on the display.

  6. Press the or buttons to adjust the hour digits, and then press the CLOCK button to confirm.
    The minute digits will flash on the display.

  7. Press the or buttons to adjust the minute digits. press the CLOCK button to confirm the setting

SETTING THE ALARM

  1. In standby mode, press and hold the ALARM button display shows “On Timer”, and the hour digits flash.
  2. Press the or buttons to adjust the hour digits, and then press the ALARM button to confirm. The minute digits will flash on the display.
  3. Press the or buttons to adjust the minute digits, and then press the ALARM button to confirm.
  4. When the or On Timer Clock set is set, the display will show “Off Timer” and the hour digits will flash.
  5. Press the buttons to select FM, USB, or CD mode, then press the ALARM button to confirm.
  6. Press the ALARM button to select “Timer On”, and the Timer is now set.
  7. In standby mode, the icon “ ” will show on the display to indicate the Timer is On.

TO CANCEL THE ALARM
Press the ALARM button and select ALARM Off mode. The “ ” indicator will disappear from the display.

NOTE:
If “Wake to a CD of USB ”is selected but a CD of USB is not inserted, the alarm will default to the FM automatically when the alarm wake time is reached.

SNOOZE FUNCTION
Press the ENTER/SNOOZE Button to temporarily terminate the alarm mode. The SNOOZE icon shows on the display, the alarm will re-start again after 9 minutes on each press .  To cancel the ENTER/SNOOZE mode, press the Button once, and the ENTER/SNOOZE icon disappears from the display.

SETTING THE SLEEP TIMER
Use the sleep timer to turn the unit off after a certain time in play mode. By setting the sleep timer, you can fall asleep with music by knowing that your unit will turn off by itself rather than playing all night.

  1. To set the sleep timer press the SLEEP button repeatedly to select the desired sleep timer as below: 120 60 30 20 15 10 05 OFF
  2. The sleep timer is now set.
  3. Press the SLEEP button to show the reminding time before the unit turns off automatically.
  4. To cancel the sleep timer, press the SLEEP button repeatedly to select “ Sleep OFF”.

BLUETOOTH OPERATION

The unit has a Bluetooth function that can receive a signal within 8 meters (without obstacles) Pairing the unit with a Bluetooth device to listen to music:

  1. Turn the unit on and press the SOURCE button to select Bluetooth mode.
  2. If the unit is not paired with any Bluetooth device, the display will flash “BT PAIRING”
  3. Activate your Bluetooth device and select the search mode.
  4. “Waterproof CD Radio” will appear on your Bluetooth device list.
  5. Select “Waterproof CD Radio” and enter “0000” for the password if necessary.
  6. If you want to pair the “Waterproof CD Radio” with another Bluetooth-enabled device, press and hold the PAIRING Button for 3 seconds or turn off the Bluetooth function of the device currently paired with “Waterproof CD Radio” then repeat step 4 above.

NOTE:

  • If the signal strength is weak, your Bluetooth receiver may disconnect, but it will re-enter pairing mode automatically.
  • For better signal reception, remove the obstacles between the unit and the Bluetooth device.
  • This unit supports A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile) and AVRCP (Audio Video Remote Control Profile) functions. This can only be paired with one Bluetooth device at one time.
  • Compatibility with all devices and media types is not guaranteed.
  • Some mobile phones with the Bluetooth function may connect and disconnect as you make and end calls.
    This is not an indication of a problem with your unit.

BATTERIES

  • Keep batteries away from children and pets.
  • Do not mix used and new batteries.
  • Remove the batteries if left for long periods.
  • Never dispose of batteries in a fire.
  • Battery disposal spent or expired batteries must be properly disposed of and recycled in compliance with local regulations. For detailed information, contact your local authority.
  • Follow the battery manufacturer’s safety, usage, and disposal instructions.

Power connection:
Insert the USB receiver into the energizing port and plug the other end into the power port.
This product is suitable for general USB interface lines, which can be connected to mobile power supplies, computers, ordinary and vehicle-mounted power supplies, etc.

DISPOSAL
