START

After installing the heater (Fig. a) on the wall:
Operate the main switch. Fig.1
The heater is now powered by 220-240Vac mains voltage. A green light flashes for a few seconds to confirm the operation.Fig. 2

STORAGE OF 1 RADIO REMOTE CONTROL UNIT WITH 1 HEATER

ALWAYS CARRY OUT OPERATIONS WITH ONLY ONE HEATER CONNECTED WITH MAINS VOLTAGE.

Take the radio remote control unit cod. PTVTEL:

  • use the “+” and “-” buttons to select channel 13 Fig. 3 and then press the button as shown in Fig. 4
  • The blue led of the heater starts flashing Fig.5

Take the radio remote control unit cod. PTVTEL:

  • Within 10 seconds use the “+” and “-” buttons to select the channel [1-12] selected for the assignment. Example «channel 1» Fig.6
  • Immediately afterward press the button as shown in Fig. 7.
  • The blue LED on the heater goes out to confirm that the storage operation is complete.

N.B. If programming does not work, repeat programming

Take the radio remote control unit cod. PTVTEL:

  • Repeat the operations of the previous chapter by selecting the channels of your choice [1-12].
  • All heaters can also be assigned to the same channel.
  • It is also possible to form groups of heaters by creating heating zones.

YOU CAN STORE A MAXIMUM OF THREE RADIO REMOTE CONTROL UNITS PLUS A PIR OR ONLY FOUR RADIO REMOTE CONTROL UNITS

OPERATION OF THE REMOTE CONTROL

Switching ON
Take the radio command code no. PTVTEL:

  • On channel «1», press the button as shown in fig. 9
  • Red LED lights up Fig.10

Setting power.
Take the radio remote control unit cod. PTVTEL:

  • On channel «1», press the button as shown in fig. 11
  • Yellow LED lights up Fig.12 medium power
  • On channel «1», press the button as shown in fig. 13
  • Green LED lights up Fig.14 maximum power

When switched on for the first time with the power supply switched on (230Vac), pressing the ON button will set the controller to idle (red LED).
During the following starts, pressing the ON button will set the controller to the last power selection set (status MEMORY).

*Enable PIR from remote control**
Take the supplied radio control unit cod. PTVTEL

  • By using the “+” and “-” buttons select channel 14 Fig.15 and immediately after pressing the button as shown in Fig. 16
  • The blue LED on the heater starts flashing twice to confirm the operation Fig.17

*Disable PIR from remote control**
Take the supplied radio control unit cod. PTVTEL

  • When switched on for the first time with the power supply switched on (230Vac), pressing the ON button will set the controller to idle (red LED).
  • During the following starts, pressing the ON button will set the controller to the last power selection set (status MEMORY).

CLEARING THE HEATER MEMORY

REMOVE RADIO CONTROLS AND DETECTORS
Take the radio remote control unit cod. PTVTEL:

  • By using the “+” and “-” buttons select channel PP Fig.19 and immediately after pressing the button as shown in Fig. 20
  • The blue LED on the heater starts flashing to confirm the cancellation operation has been carried out Fig. 21

N.B. If deletion does not work, please repeat the operation.

TROUBLESHOOTING

PROBLEM CAUSES SOLUTIONS
The radio remote control does not work • Batteries are low • Replace

The radio remote control works but does  not control the heater| • PTVTEL has not been stored with the heater| • Store PTVTEL read chapter «STORAGE OF 1 RADIO REMOTE CONTROL WITH 1 RADIO HEATER»
The remote control does not store with heater| • Heater memory full if 4 devices are stored| • Clear the memory by removing one of the four previously- stored PTVTELs, see chapter «CLEARING THE HEATER MEMORY»
The product does not switch on| • No mains voltage
• Incorrectly mounted plug or damaged cable.
• The remote control unit does not work| • Check that there is voltage in the power cable and try again.
• Check that the plug is fitted correctly or replace the cable.
• Check the remote control
The heating element does not turn on at any set power level| • the heating element is damaged.| • Contact technical support (+39 02 90639261 then dial 2) or your dealer
Power control does not work| • The controller element is damaged.| • Contact technical support
