SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

  1. The appliance is intended exclusively for private, domestic use and for the intended purpose. This appliance is not suitable for professional use.

  2. Ensure that the voltage indicated on the appliance rating label corresponds to the voltage in the mains. The fuse must be 16A.

  3. Use the appliance only in a grounded and properly installed outlet. Do not use the neutral terminal of your electrical installation as a ground.

  4. Do not use the appliance outdoors.

  5. Keep the appliance away from heat sources, direct sunlight, moisture (never immerse it in any liquid), and sharp edges.

  6. Do not use the appliance near bathtubs, showers, sinks, swimming pools, etc. where it may get wet or come into contact with water.

  7.   WARNING: Do not use this heater in small/confined spaces where there are people with reduced physical, sensory or mental abilities who cannot leave the room by themselves unless constant supervision is provided.

  8. Place the appliance on a stable, flat, and heat-resistant surface.

  9. Do not place the heater directly under an outlet.

  10. Do not use the appliance in conjunction with a scheduler, timer, or any appliance that can turn it on automatically.

  11. Never operate the appliance unattended.

  12.   CAUTION: This is an additional heating appliance. Never leave the appliance unattended for several hours. Do not leave the house if the appliance is operating. If you leave the room, always turn off the appliance.

  13. Do not use the appliance while sleeping.

  14.   CAUTION: Keep the appliance away from children and pets.

  15.   CAUTION: Do not let children play with the appliance.

  16. To ensure the safety of children, keep all packaging materials (plastic bags, boxes, etc.) away from them.
    WARNING: Do not allow children to play with the packaging materials.
    Risk of suffocation!

  17.   CAUTION: Please do not allow children to play unsupervised near the appliance.

  18.  The appliance can be used by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the relevant risks.

  19. ATTENTION: In no case is it allowed to use the appliance in areas where there are or where work is carried out with flammable materials.

  20.  Periodically check the appliance for any damage.

  21. WARNING: Do not use the appliance if the appliance has been dropped or damaged in any way or if there are any visible signs of damage to the appliance. To avoid possible danger, do not attempt to repair the appliance yourself. Contact a qualified technician for repair. Use only original spare parts.

  27. WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire, keep fabrics, curtains, or any other flammable material at least 1m away from the air outlet of the appliance.

  28. Keep a distance of at least 1 meter from the front and around all sides of the appliance to allow adequate air circulation during use.

  29. CAUTION: Do not place or hang the following, similar, or other flammable materials such as paper, plastic, etc., on, in front of, or inside the appliance.

  30. CAUTION: Do not cover the appliance with any object. Do not place clothes on the appliance. Fire hazard!

  31. CAUTION: Do not cover or block the appliance’s heat outlets or air inlets. Risk of overheating!

  32. Do not place the heater in or under shelves, cupboards, or similar places.

  33. CAUTION: The appliance develops high temperatures during operation.
    Do not touch the hot parts of the appliance and do not allow children to play unsupervised near the appliance. Risk of burns!

  34. Do not use the appliance unless all its parts are fully assembled.

  35. Allow the appliance to cool before storing.

  36. The appliance must be stored out of the reach of children.

  37. The protective grill of this heater is intended to prevent direct access to the heating elements and must be in place when the heater is in use.
    THE PROTECTIVE GRILL DOES NOT PROVIDE AND IS NOT GUARANTEED FULL PROTECTION FOR SMALL CHILDREN AND PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES.

  38. When the appliance is not used for a long time, e.g. during the summer, it is recommended to keep it covered or stored in its original packaging to minimize the accumulation of dust contaminants that may occur.

  39. Maintenance and cleaning should only be done when the appliance has cooled down. Do not attempt to clean the appliance while it is in operation.

  40. If any malfunction occurs during use, immediately stop the operation of the appliance and contact a qualified technician. 41. Follow the cleaning instructions (see paragraph “CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE”). Failure to do so may damage the appliance. The plug must be removed from the socket before cleaning the reflector

ASSEMBLY/ DISASSEMBLY

  1. Remove all packaging materials and keep them away from infants, children, and pets.
  2. Place and press the castors into the leg slots of the appliance until they fit and lock into place.
  3. Place the heater upside down.
  4. Place the feet with the wheels on the heater in such a way that the plastics of the feet enter the socket of the heater and fit well.
  5. Turn the quartz heater to an upright position.

INITIAL OPERATION OF THE QUARTZ HEATER

  1. Plug the quartz heater into a properly installed and grounded outlet. Make sure the heating combination selection switch is in the “OFF” position before connecting the appliance to the power supply.
  2. Select the high-power heating mode by turning the heating combination selection rotary switch to position 4 and the thermostat to Max.
  3. Operate the heater at this setting for 5-10 minutes.
  4. Switch off the appliance by turning the heating combination selection rotary switch to the “OFF” position and the thermostat to the “Min” position.

NOTE: During initial use and due to the insulating materials surrounding the resistors, an unpleasant odor and/or smoke may occur. This is not a malfunction of the heater and goes away after the first heating of the resistors.
CAUTION: If the quartz heater is damaged, turn it off immediately and unplug it from the outlet. If the cable is damaged or worn, visit a qualified technician for repair or replacement.

USING THE APPLIANCE

HEATING COMBINATIONS
The quartz heater has 4 heating combinations. Turn on the appliance by turning the heating combination selection rotary switch, and selecting one of the following power modes:

  • Low power heating mode (position 1 – 535W- 1 heating lamp on top)
  • Medium heating power mode (position 2 – 1070W – 2 heating lamps on the front)
  • High power heating mode (position 3 – 1605W – 2 front heating lamps and 1 upper heating lamp on)
  • Very high heating power mode (position 4 – 2150W – all heating lamps on)
    Turn off the quartz heater by selecting the OFF position using the heating combination selector rotary switch.

THERMOSTAT
You can set the desired room temperature by turning the rotary switch and selecting the temperature level from MIN to MAX.
TIP-OVER SAFETY SYSTEM WITH AUTO-OFF
The heater is equipped with a special overturning protection system, which immediately stops the appliance from operating if the heater is tipped over. This safety system eliminates the risk of fire due to the high temperature that develops in the front grill in the event of a rollover.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Follow these instructions to properly and safely care for your heater.

  1. Always turn off the appliance by selecting the OFF position from the heater rotary switch before cleaning or assembly. It is forbidden to clean the appliance during operation.
  2. Always wait for the appliance to cool down completely before cleaning.
  3. Use a damp cloth to clean the body of the appliance.
  4. Do not use harsh, abrasive, or corrosive detergents or solvents to clean the appliance, and do not use any of the following as a cleaner: benzine, thinners, or benzene.

STORAGE

  1. Always unplug the power cord before storing the appliance.
  2. Make sure the appliance is cold and dry before storing it.
  3. Always store the appliance out of the reach of children.
  4. Always store the appliance in a safe and clean place. For the best protection of the appliance, store it in its original packaging.
