Product Usage Instructions

• Removing Cover:
  • Remove cover screws from either side of the top cover and set aside.
  • Press the top cover against the door lightly and slide up to remove it from the fire plate.
  • CAUTION: To avoid scratching the door, use light pressure when pressing the top cover into the door.
• Disconnecting Wires:
  • Disconnect the grey antenna wire connector from the black antenna wire connector.
• Reconnecting Wires:
  • Insert the grey antenna wire connector into the new adapter as shown. Repeat with the black antenna wire connector.
  • NOTE: The adapter can only be connected in one orientation.
  • NOTE: Press firmly when securing the connector to the adapter. The connector will click in place once secure.
  • CAUTION: Ensure there are no loose wire connections where connectors are inserted in the adapter.
  • CAUTION: Ensure connectors are firmly mated to the adapter.
• Securing Cover:
  • Place the top cover against the door, above the fire plate. Slide the top cover down toward the bottom cover.
  • CAUTION: Feed the antenna wire down into the bottom cover as the top cover slides down onto the fire plate. Be sure not to pinch wire on the bottom cover.
  • CAUTION: To avoid scratching the door, use light pressure when sliding the top cover down against the door.
  • Secure the top cover using the cover screws from step 1.1.

2. DISCONNECTING WIRES.
3. Disconnect the grey antenna wire connector from the black antenna wire connector.
4. RECONNECTING WIRES.
5. Insert grey antenna wire connector into the new adapter (as shown). Repeat with the black antenna wire connector.

  *  **NOTE:** The adapter can only be connected in one orientation.

5. Place the top cover against the door, above the fire plate. Slide the top cover down toward the bottom cover.

  *  **CAUTION:** Feed the antenna wire down into the bottom cover as the top cover slides down onto the fire plate. Be sure not to pinch the wire on the bottom cover.
  *  **CAUTION:** To avoid scratching the door, use light pressure when sliding the top cover down against the door.
2. Secure the top cover using the cover screws from step 1.1.
