You have made a very good choice with the purchase of the product Aqua Proof®
MeasSpoon – digital spoon scale. Before using the device for the first time, read the operating instructions carefully and familiarise yourself with the product. All work on and with this device may only be carried out in accordance with these operating instructions. Be sure to observe the safety instructions for correct and safe use. Keep these operating instructions in a safe place. If the owner changes, please pass on the operating instructions.

INTENDED USE

AquaProof® MeasSpoon – digital spoon scales, hereinafter referred to as digital laboratory scales, may only be used for weighing. All other parts from the scope of delivery may only be used in this context.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

This device can be used by children aged 8 years and over and by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental abilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they are supervised or have been instructed in the safe use of the device and understand the resulting dangers.

Children must not play with the device. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision. Be sure to observe the safety instructions for correct and safe use. Please keep this manual carefully.

If there is a change of ownership, please pass on the instructions.

BATTERY SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Pay attention to the correct polarity when inserting the primary batteries. Remove the primary batteries when not using the device for a long period of time to avoid damage from leakage. Leaking or damaged primary batteries can cause acid burns if they come in contact with skin. You should therefore wear protective gloves when handling damaged primary batteries. Keep primary batteries out of the reach of children. Do not leave primary batteries lying around as they could be swallowed by children or pets. All primary batteries should be replaced at the same time. Mixing old and new primary batteries in the device can cause the primary batteries to leak and damage the device. Do not disassemble, short-circuit, or throw in fire primary batteries. Never attempt to charge non-rechargeable primary batteries. There is a risk of explosion!

INSTALLATION AND COMMISSIONING

This electronic digital spoon scale is small and handy, weighs precisely and works reliably.
Never load the scale with more than the maximum capacity. Overloading can damage them permanently. Avoid extreme heat or cold. Your scale works better when operated at normal room temperature. Allow the scale to acclimate at normal room temperature for at least one hour before use. Keep your scale in a clean environment. Dust, dirt, moisture, vibration, air currents, and close proximity to other electronic equipment can affect the reliability and accuracy of your scale. Handle the scale with care. Although the scale is very durable, you should avoid rough handling as this can permanently damage the internal sensor. Avoid shaking and dropping the scale. The scale is a precision instrument and must be handled.

Install battery:

Open the battery cover on the back of the scale, insert 2 pieces of 1.5V x 2 AAA batteries into the scale, paying attention to the polarity of the batteries, and then close the cover.

Key Functions:

ON/OFF TARE button : Press this button to turn the scale on. Long press this button to turn off the scale. If the reading is not 0.0, press this button to tare the weight.
HOLD button : Press this button to lock the display. If you remove the item or weighed amount, the scale will continue to show the display.
UNIT button: Pressing this button changes the unit of measure of the scale (g, oz)

Service:

Press the ON/OFF button to turn on the device. „0.0“ is shown on the display. Keeping the scale level, place an object in the weighing spoon or scoop the amount directly from the packet. Wait for the display to stabilize. After use, long press the ON/OFF button to turn off the product.

Specifications:

Weighs up to 300g with an accuracy of 1g. The scale weighs in units of g, oz and switches off automatically when not in use.

DISPOSAL OF PRIMARY BATTERIES AND RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES

Consumers are legally obliged to dispose of used primary batteries and accumulators (accumulators) in the collection boxes in stores, which are available wherever primary batteries and accumulators (accumulators) are sold.
