Important safety information

• Clean after use all surfaces, that have come in contact with food. Follow the notes in the chapter „Cleaning and Care“.
• WARNING — Always operate the blender with the lid or the guard in position as indicated in the instructions. Never put a hand in the jar when it is placed on the base unit.
• If food needs to be pushed down, use a suitable tool e.g. spatula.

Important safety information regarding the battery

• Risk of Explosion: Protect batteries from heat and fire.
• WARNING : For recharging the battery, only use the detachable supply unit (model: YLS0056E-E050100) provided with this appliance.
• The Lithium-Ion battery is protected against total discharge. If the appliance is switched on with a discharged battery, the appliance is switched off by a protective circuit.
• If left for more than one month when the battery is low, it may cause the battery to turn out of power and be damaged. Please recharge regularly if not in use for a long time.
• This device contains Lithium-Ion batteries which can not be replaced.

Safety instructions

• Please read the instructions carefully before using this product.
• Do not switch the device on if the container is empty.
• During the work of the product, it is strictly forbidden to open the mixing container to avoid interrupting normal work.
• Only process food with a maximum temperature of 60°C.
• Always disconnect the appliance from the supply if it is left unattended and before assembling, disassembling or cleaning.
• Do not operate the device and/or immediately remove the mains plug if:
  • the blender, the charger or the mains cable are damaged
  • you suspect a defect after it has fallen or a similar incident
  • Send the device to be repaired in these cases.
• This equipment must be used by the instructions, and must not be used for other purposes.
• Misuse may cause potential injury.
• The device is not intended for commercial use.
• Use of accessories not recommended or sold by the original manufacturer may cause risks of fire, electric leakage or personal injury.
• Before using, please make sure that the product is firmly fixed.
• Never attempt to manipulate the safety interlock of the lid.
• Please keep this manual for future reference.
• When the product is working, it is strictly forbidden to touch movable parts such as blades and motors, to avoid injury or damage to the product.
• The juice cup can be opened after the blade stops rotating.
• It is strictly forbidden to disassemble or alter this product by oneself.
• After using the product, please clean it in time, and wash the parts in contact with food with clean water. When emptying the cup body and cleaning the parts, be careful to operate. Be sure to pay attention to sharp blades to avoid cutting (you can wear protective gloves).
• After charging, when unplugging the plug, please grab the plug and pull it out.
• Don‘t pull the wire.
• Do not place in or near flammable gases or electric stoves, or in hot ovens.
• Do not immerse the battery charger and motor combination in water or other
  liquids to avoid the risk of fire, electric leakage or personal injury

Before use
Before using the appliance for the first time, fully charge the battery. The unit may become warm during the charging process. The mixer may only be used for its intended purpose according to these operating instructions. Therefore, carefully read the operating instructions before use. It provides instructions for using, cleaning and maintaining the device. We do not assume any liability for any damage if the instructions are not observed. Keep the operating instructions well preserved and pass them on to the subsequent user together with the device. Also, note the warranty information at the end. The device is not intended for commercial use, but rather only for the preparation of food in common household amounts. Observe the safety instructions during use.

Getting started

Before first use
Before using it for the first time, clean all parts as described in ‚Cleaning and Care. The blender only works if the blender jug and lid are connected correctly. The indicator light flashes white to indicate a faulty connection. Make sure that the two triangles are aligned when closing.

First Use

1. Preparation: Wash and peel fruit/vegetables, and cut them into 1 cm pieces. No hard fruit, nuts or ice.
2. Filling: Place fruit/vegetables in blender jug, add liquid up to the mark (approx. 120 g fruit/vegetables, 180 g liquid). Hard fruit/vegetables first, then softer fruit/ vegetables.
3. Seal: Turn the lid on the blender jug until the triangles match.

Start the blender

• Start: Press the start/stop button twice. Turn the blender upside down and hold.
• Automatic mixing process: 40 seconds.
• Movement tip: Move the blender sideways.
• Stop: Press the start/stop button once.
• Blade blocked: Switch off the blender, turn normally, shake, restart
• Turn the blender back after the end of blending. Wait briefly so that the smoothie/juice flows downwards.
• Remove the lid, drink directly or pour into a glass.

Charging of the blender

• Plug the USB port of the charging cable into the mains adapter and connect it to the socket.
• Connect the magnetic charging head of the cable to the two magnetic points on the blender lid.
• Place the blender on a flat, firm surface while charging. Red light during charging, white light on completion.
  Note: Do not operate the blender while charging.

Cleaning and care

1. Make sure the blades stop running before opening the device and cleaning it.
2. The lid with motor and blade unit can be wiped with a damp cloth; do not, soak in water or other liquids to avoid damage to the device.
3. Fast Cleaning: Add an appropriate amount of water to the juice cup and install the lid. Double-click the Start-Stop button and work for 5 to 10 seconds.
4. When storing, please ensure that the product is clean, dry and placed in a dry, ventilated place without direct sunlight.
