Operation Manual
This product is IP67, water and dust proof. Be sure the cover for the Micro USB Charge socket/ AUX in socket is closed when you use the speaker outdoors or in places where water drops may fall on it.
With the Micro USB water proof cover open do not put this product in water or use it near water.
Thank you for purchasing this product.
To use this product safety, read and understand this operation manual
thoroughly before using it. After reading this manual, keep it in a safe place
so that it can be used when necessary.
Safety precautions
The information you need to prevent danger to the user and other people as well as property damage is described below. Description of signs’ shows different categories of the degree of danger or damage that may occur due to wrong handling. ‘Description of symbols’ shows the meaning of the symbols.
Important notes
- This book is only a guide for user’s operation, not a criterion for configuration.
- Only use attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer.
The lightning flash is intended to alert the user to the presence of dangerous voltage within the products enclosure, and touching the internal components may result in a risk of electric shock to persons.
The exclamatory mark is intended to alert the user to the presence of important operating instructions.
To reduce the risk of electric shock or fire, do not open the cover. Refer servicing to qualified service personal.
Description of signs
WARNING: Indicates that there is risk of death or serious injury.
CAUTION: Indicate that there is risk of minor injury or property damage.
Description of symbols
- lndicates Prohibition· or “You must not do” with pictures and text.
- Indicates Mandatory Action or Doas indicated with pictures and text.
What to do in the case of an abnormality.
WARNING
- Stop using the device immediately in case of an abnormality or failure.
- Remove the USB cable immediately when water or any foreign object enters the interior of the device. It may cause a fire or electric shock. Remove the USB cable immediately, and contact your dealer for a repair.
Usage
WARNING
To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock or product damage.
- Do not disassemble, repair, or modify the unit. Refer servicing to qualified service personnel.
- Do not step on, throw, or drop battery or the power supply or unit, or exposethem to a strong shock.
- Do not throw the unit into fire. The battery could explode causing injury or death.
- Do not install this unit in a confined a built-in space such as a book case or similar unit, and keep a well-ventilated conditions. The ventilation should not be impeded by covering the ventilation openings with items such as newspaper, table-cloths, curtains etc.
- Do not expose this unit to rain, moisture, dripping or splashing,
- Do not place objects filled with liquids, such as vases, on this unit.
- Place the unit on a flat surface away from sources of direct sunlight or excessive heat.
- The units is not for use by children, and keep it out of reach of children.
Rechargeable battery (Lithium polymer ion)
CAUTION
To reduce the risk of fire electric shocker product damage,
- Do not attempt to replace the battery by your self, it is built-in and is not changeable.
- Do not heat, disassemble, or short-circuit the battery. Doing so may cause the battery and power supply to generate heat, rupture, or ignite.
- Charge the battery only in an ambient temperature between 5 and 35 degrees Celsius. Otherwise, the electrolyte solution might leak, battery performance might deteriorate and the battery life might be shortened.
- Do not continue charging the battery if it does not reach full charge within the specified charging time. Overcharging may cause the battery to become hot, rupture, orignite.
- Do not expose the battery to excessive heat such as under the sun or near the fire or the like.
Overheat, leakage, or rupture may occur, resulting in burns or injury. If you touch the battery fluid, rinse it off with water and consult with the doctor. If the battery fluid spills over the device, wipe it off without touching the fluid.
If you leave the unit unused for a long period of time, the built-in rechargeable battery will be in an over discharge state due to self discharge, and the charging capacity may deteriorate or the battery may be no longer rechargeable. Even if you are not using the unit, charge the battery once or twice a year for 2 hours each time.

- Do not use this apparatus near water with the Micro USB water proof cover open.
- Clean only with dry cloth.
- Do not block any ventilation openings. Install in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions
- Do not install near any heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other apparatus (Including amplifiers) that produce heat.
- Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized or grounding-type plug. A polarized plug has two blades with one wider than the other A grounding type plug has two blades and a third grounding prong. The wide blade or the third prong are provided for your safety. If the provided plug does not fit into your outlet, consult an electrician for replacement of the obsolete outlet
- Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched particularly at plugs, convenience receptacles, and the point where they exit from the apparatus.
- Only use attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer.
- Use only with the cart, stand, tripod, bracket, or table specified by the manufacturer, or sold with the apparatus. When a cart is used use caution when moving the cart/apparatus combination to avoid injury from tip-over
- Unplug this apparatus during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time.
- Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. Servicing is required when the apparatus has been damaged in any way, such as power supply cord or plug is damaged, liquid has been spilled or objects have fallen into the apparatus, the apparatus has been exposed to rain or moisture, does not operate normally, or has been dropped.

Disposal
- When disposing of this device, observe the laws, a ordinances and rules of the local government.
- When disposing of the battery, make a request to a recycle agency for disposal.
- This product contains a built-in lithium ion rechargeable battery. There is a risk of injury due to fire, explosion or leakage if the battery is not used, handled, replaced or disposed of properly. Dispose of the battery as required by local ordinances or regulations. Do not disassemble, crush or expose the battery to fire or high temperatures.
About water resistance
CAUTION
To use this unit
- Do not place the unit into hot or cold water.
- Do not pour large amounts of water onto the unit.
- Do not spray with water intensely.
- Do not place the unit into hot or cold water with soap, detergent, or bath agent.
- Be sure the cover for the Micro USB charge socket/ AUX in socket is closed firmly when you use the unit.
- The rubber seal of the cover is made for water resistance.
- Do not let the rubber seal become dirty or scratched. If any foreign objects are attached to the rubber seal, wipe it with a clean dry clothin a dry place
- Do not open or close the cover for the Micro USB charge socket/AUX in socket in a location where it will be subject to water or high humidity.
- If the unit falls into water or is covered with large amounts of raindrops or water, use a dry cloth to wipe it immediately.
- Open and close the cover for the Micro USB charge socket/AUX in socket with dry hands in a dry place after the water has been wipedof sufficiently from the unit
- Water may remain within the unit after it has been wet. Shake the water of the unit lightly and wipe the unit.
- If water remains within the unit and the unit is carried around, your clothes, floor, or bed may become wet due to water dropped from the unit.
The degree of protection against water for this unit is equivalent to IPX5 (IP code). IPXS means the product will not be harmfully effected by droplets from any direction Toshiba shall not be responsible for any damage caused by water entering the unit due to incorrect handling and it will not be covered by the warranty even if the warranty period is still in effect.
About Using Bluetooth
This unit is designed for use with Bluetooth wireless devices compatible with the HFP, HSP, A2DP and AVRCP streaming audio profiles. Refer to your Bluetooth device’s user manual or technical support to determine if your Bluetooth device supports these profiles.
Frequency band used
This unit uses the 2.4GHz frequency band. However other wireless devices may use 24 GHz frequency band as well and may cause interference with each other. To avoid interference, please refrain from the use of the unit at the same time with other wireless devices.
Certification of this device
This unit conforms to frequency restrictions and has received certification based on frequency laws, so a wireless pennit is not necessary. However, the following action is punishable by law in some countries:
Usage restrictions
- Wireless transmission and/or use with all Bluetooth equipped devices is not guaranteed.
- A device featuring the Bluetooth®function is required to conform to the Bluetooth standard specified by Bluetooth SIG, and be authenticated. Even if the connected device conforms to the above mentioned Bluetooth® standard, some devices may not be connected or work correctly, depending on the features or specifications of the device.
Range of use
Use this device within an unobstructed 10 m range The range of use or perimeter may be shortened depending on any obstructions, devices causing interference, other people in the room, or the construction of the building. Please note that the range mentioned above is not guaranteed.
The Bluetooth’ word mark and logos are owned by the Bluetooth SIG, Inc and are used under license.
Note
This unit may receive radio interference caused by mobile telephones during use. If such Interference occurs, please increase separation between this unit and the mobile telephone.
Maintenance
To clean this system, wipe with a soft, drydoth.
- Never use alcohol, paint thinner or benzine to clean this system.
- Before using chemical cloth, read the instructions that came with the cloth carefully.
Getting Started
This unit has a built-in lithium polymer ion rechargeable battery. Before use, fully charge the battery by connecting the unit to a computer or a universal USB mobile charger through the provided USB chargingcable. The red Charge indicator tums on while the battery is charging. The red indicator will turn off when the battery is fully charged (around 4 hours).
Note When the battery voltage is too low, a beep is heard. Change the unit

Using this Speaker

Turning on/off the power
Powering on:
- Press and Hold “Power ON/OFF button”2 seconds to power ON, the Blue LED will start to flash,
Note: If an AUX 3.5 mm) cable is connected to the unit, the Blue LED will turn off and the Green LED will stay illuminated, notifying you the unit is in Aux-In mode.
Powering off:
- Press and Hold Power ON/OFF button 2 seconds to power OFF
Listening to Bluetooth Music
In order to use the unit for music playback functions through Bluetooth”, the speaker must first be paired with the Bluetooth devic.
Pairing:
- Press and Hold “Power ON/OFF button” 2 seconds to power ON. Bluetooth function will go into pairing mode and the blue LED will keep flashing.
- Following the instructions in your device’s user manual, activate Bluetooth on your device and search for other devices. Once you have found “TY-WSP200”, pair with the speaker.
Information:
- This speaker will pair with the last connected device when that device is in range.
- The speaker will be turned off if no device has been pared for more than 10 minutes.
Playing Bluetooth Music:

Once your device and the speaker are paired, you can play music on this speaker through Bluetooth•.

Press the Play button either on your device or this speaker to play or
pause music. -
Adjust the volume level on your device.
Notes
- Press and Hold Volume + button 2 seconds to play the next track.
- Press and Hold Volume – button2 seconds to play the previous track
Pairing for the second time or later
The speaker start pairing automatically with the last-paired device when the power is tum ON second time or later.
Disconnecting the Bluetooth device currently connected and connecting
another Bluetooth® device.
Press and hold “Play” button for 2 seconds disconnects the currently connected Bluetooth device. The speaker is in the pairing waiting mode at the time. A pairing sound is heard. Connect the speaker with another Bluetooth device. To connect with another device flow Step 2 of the “Pairing’ procedure.
Playing AUX in Music
You can connect an MP3 player or other portable audio device to this speaker via the AUX in socket.
Note: Use the provided Micro US8 – 3.5 mm plug cable. The AUX in socket cannot be used with a commercially available cable.
- Plug the Micro USB plug into the USB socket using the provided Micro USB-3.5mm plug cable.
- Plug the 3.5 mm plug into the earphone or line-out jack on your device.
- Turn on and play your device.
- Adjust the volume level on your device.
Note: Since the USB Charge cable cannot be used while the Micro USB-3.5 mm plug cable is being used, you cannot charge the speaker.
Making calls with a Bluetooth® Mobile Phone
Before the speakerphone feature of this speaker can be used, you will need to pair and connect your Bluetooth-enabled phone with this speaker. Please refer to Pairing.
Answer a call:
- To answer a call, press the phone button. You can then use this speaker as a speaker phone.
- Speak into the built-in microphone of the speaker and use the Volume +/Volume – buttons on this speaker to adjust thecall volume.
- To end the call, press the Phone button.
Note
To reject a call ,pressand hold Phone button for 2 seconds.
Dialing:
- Once this speaker is paired with a Bluetooth mobile phone, you can use the keypad on your phone to dial a phone number. Pressthe Phonebutton tocancelthecall
- Use the Volume +/Volume – buttons on this speaker to adjust the volume level,
Note
- To press the button Phone button twice to redial the last dialed number.
- Changes to the volume settings for phone operation may affect the volume of other modes on your mobile phone.
To end a call, press the phone button.
