The fluorescent tube heats up during operation. Do not place papers or anything
similar on the UV lamp and do not touch the fluorescent tubes with your bare
hands.
ATTENTION!
- Risk of property damage!
- Avoid environmental influences such as smoke, dust, vibrations, chemicals, moisture, heat or direct sunlight.
- The lamp may generate heat during use, which is a normal phenomenon. If the temperature is too high, please do not use it until it cools down.
Use only as intended.
- The Holmes UV lamp – hereinafter referred to as the UV lamp – is used to check the authenticity features of, for example, stamps, banknotes or credit cards.
- Unauthorized changes or modifications are not permitted.
- Under no circumstances should you open the UV lamp yourself or attempt to repair it yourself. A remaining residual risk of non-recognition of reproduced and/or counterfeit banknotes cannot be ruled out.
- Even real banknotes can be recognized as defective due to contamination or other external influences. Therefore, check faulty banknotes several times and, if in doubt, contact your bank.

Care Instructions
- Clean the housing surfaces with a soft, lint-free cloth.
- Clean the UV light tube with a soft, lint-free cloth.
- Do not use cleaning agents or solvents.
Operation
Press the button to turn on the desired function. After switching on, wait about a minute until the UV lamp has reached optimal operating conditions. Pressing the UV button once activates the wavelength of 395nm; a second press activates 365nm. The third press turns off the UV black filter. Pressing the LED button once activates white light, which can be dimmed by pressing it again. Pressing it again turns on warm light, which can also be dimmed. Continuous dimming is possible by long pressing.
Do not (!) look directly into the UV LED when it is switched on. This can lead to serious eye damage! Keep away from children! Do not disassemble the lamp or UV LED. Handle the lamp carefully.
Connect the power plug to a properly installed electrical outlet and connect
the micro USB plug to the USB charging port of the UV lamp.
During charging, the UV black filter button lights up red, and when charging is
complete, the LED lamp button lights up green.
ℹ If you do not use your UV lamp for a long time, unplug the UV lamp from the power supply.
