This product is only suitable for well-insulated spaces or occasional use.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

Read the instructions carefully before installing and operating the appliance or performing maintenance operations. Observe all the safety instructions; failure to observe the instructions may cause accidents and/or damage. Store these instructions for future reference.

GENERAL SAFETY INFORMATION

  • Use this fan heater only as outlined in this manual. Any other use not recommended by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock, or injury to people.

  • Ensure that the main power complies with the voltage specified on the fan heater data plate (220-240V~50Hz).

  • This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above and people with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if  they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.

  • Children shall not play with the appliance.

  • Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.

  • This product is not a toy.

  • Children under the age of 3 must be kept away if not continuously supervised.

  • Children aged between 3 and 8 must only turn the appliance on / off as long as it has been placed or installed in its normal operating position and that they receive surveillance or instructions regarding the safe use of the appliance and understand the dangers.

  • Children between 3 and 8 years of age must not insert the plug, adjust or clean the appliance or carry out maintenance by the user.
    CAUTION – Some parts of this product can become very hot and cause burns. Particular attention has to be given where children and vulnerable people are present.
    WARNING: In order to avoid hazards due to inadvertent resetting of the thermal cut-out, this appliance must not be supplied through an external switching device, such as a timer, or connected to a circuit that is regularly switched on and off by the utility.
    WARNING: do not use the fan heater with a controller or any other external device that activates the appliance automatically, as there may be a risk of fire if the fan heater is covered or incorrectly positioned.

  • The appliance is equipped with an IP21 protection degree and can also be used in the bathroom, in zone 2.

  • Do not use the convector in the immediate vicinity of bathtubs, showers, washbasins, or swimming pools.

  • Do not restrict the air inlet and outlet grilles.
  • The appliance heats up slightly when in use. In order to avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces.
  •  Ensure that all objects are at least 1 meter from the front and sides of the appliance.
  • Ensure to keep away the animals from the heater.
  • Disconnect the main power when the appliance is not used or for cleaning operations.
  • Avoid using the fan heater in dusty environments or in the presence of inflammable vapors (e.g. in workshops or garages) or paint vapors.
  • Do not place anything on the appliance, do not use the appliance to dry clothing.
  •  Use the appliance in a well-ventilated area.
  • Avoid placing fingers or foreign objects in the air inlet/outlet grilles, as this may lead to electric shock or fire and may damage the appliance.
  • To avoid the risk of fire, do not block the grilles or tamper with them in any way while the fan heater operates.
  • Do not use the appliance if the cord or plug is damaged. If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its technical assistance service or in any case by a person with a similar qualification, in order to prevent any risk.
  • Do not operate the appliance if it has fallen from a height or has suffered damage in any way. Contact qualified technical personnel to examine the appliance or perform any electrical or mechanical repairs.
  • The most common cause of overheating is the build-up of dust in the appliance. Remove dust deposits by unplugging the appliance and cleaning the air outlets and grilles with the aid of a vacuum cleaner.
  • Do not use abrasive detergents for cleaning this appliance. Clean the appliance with the aid of a damp (not wet) cloth. Always remove the plug from the main socket before cleaning.
  • To disconnect the fan heater, push the switch to OFF and remove the plug from the socket. Pull-on the plug only. Avoid pulling on the cord when disconnecting the fan heater.
  • Do not place any objects on the cord and do not bend it.
  • Before the use of the appliance, ensure that the power cord is fully extended to prevent it from coming into contact with any part of the heater.
  • It is not advisable to use extension cords, as these may overheat and cause the risk of fire. Do not use a single extension cord to operate multiple appliances.
  • Do not immerse the cord, plug, or any other element of the appliance in water or other liquids.
  • Do not touch the plug with wet hands.
  • Do not place the fan heater above or near another heat source.

  • The fan heater may cause the risk of fire if, while in operation, is covered by or comes into contact with inflammable material including curtains, drapery, blankets, etc.  KEEP THE FAN HEATER AWAY FROM THESE MATERIALS.

  • Do not connect the appliance to the mains’ power before it has been properly assembled and positioned.

  • Do not run the cord under carpets. Do not cover the cord with blankets, carpets, or similar materials. Place the cord far away from busy areas or where it cannot be accidentally pulled out.

  • Do not operate the fan heater in close proximity to bathtubs, showers, washbasins, or pools.

  • The heating appliance must not be positioned immediately below a power outlet.

  • Do not operate the appliance outdoors.
    Upon initial start-up, the fan heater may emit a slight, harmless smell. This smell is a normal effect of the initial heating up of the internal heating elements, and should not recur later on.
    WARNING: DO NOT DEPEND ON THE ON/OFF BUTTON SWITCH AS THE SOLE MEANS OF DISCONNECTING POWER. WHEN SERVICING OR  MOVING THE FAN HEATER, ALWAYS UNPLUG THE POWER CORD.

  •  A fan heater has hot and arcing or sparking parts inside. It must not be used in potentially dangerous locations such as flammable, explosive, chemical-laden, or wet atmospheres.

  • Do not place the fan heater on soft surfaces, like a bed, where openings may become blocked. Always place the fan heater on a stable, flat, level surface when operating, to avoid the chance of the fan heater overturning. Locate the power cord so the fan heater or other objects are not resting on it.

  • Always unplug the fan heater when not in use.

  • In order to avoid accidents turn the unit off if unattended.

  • In the event of any problems (abnormal noise or a strange smell) switch off the appliance immediately, do not attempt to repair it, and take it to your local after-sales service.

HOW TO USE THE HEATER

Place the fan heater upright on a flat and stable surface.
Connect the power cord to an appropriate power outlet (220-240V ~ 50Hz).
Turn on the fan heater by pressing the ON / OFF switch located on the back of the product.
The POWER LED indicator turns on, while the others remain off.
Touch the POWER button to activate the fan heater.
During operation, do not touch or cover the front air delivery grille, this could cause overheating and activate the protection device.

CONTROL PANEL AND ACTIVABLE FUNCTIONS

Connect the power cord to the power outlet, and press the ON / OFF switch located on the rear of the product, the power reaches the unit and the device emits a beep, entering standby mode.

  1. POWER button
    Touch this button on the control panel to activate the fan heater operation. The LED lights up on the control panel, while all other LEDs are off and inoperative, except the  Power button
    When the fan heater is in standby mode, press the Power button once ****
    a) On the control panel, the operation LED lights up
    b) The fan heater starts operating at low heating power: the LED is lit on the control panel, while the high heating power LED is off
    c) The Timer is not active and the LED on the control panel is turned off.
    d) Ventilation: active.
    e) Temperature: The default set temperature is 35 ° C.
    f) Oscillation: it is not active and the LED on the control panel is turned off.
    Press the Power button again to turn off the device and the 60-second countdown appears on the display before entering standby mode.

  2. Heating power button
    When the fan heater is on, touch this button on the control panel to select the heating power from low (the corresponding LED lights up on the control panel) and high (the corresponding LED lights up on the display). The transition between high and low takes place with a delay of 10 seconds and the low heating power LED is off.

  3. SET button
    Touch this button on the control panel to select the desired temperature, visible on the display, using the + and – keys, with an interval of 1 ° C. The temperature can be set from 5 ° C up to 35 ° C.
    After setting the desired temperature, touch the SET button on the control panel to confirm the temperature.
    The set temperature is displayed if no selections are made within 5 seconds, or if any other keys except + and – are touched within 5 seconds.
    The temperature is not detected on the display for 10 seconds after switching on the fan heater. When the room temperature is higher than the set one, and if no selections are made on the control panel within 10 seconds, the fan heater automatically stops the heating mode and the oscillation (if previously activated), while the ventilation continues for 60 seconds, the settings on the control panel remain unchanged. When the room temperature is 2 ° C lower than the set one, the fan heater turns on again and resumes the heating mode and oscillation (if previously activated) and shows the heating power level.
    If the Timer and the temperature are set at the same time, the set temperature and time are shown on the display alternately, with an interval of 30 seconds. If the Timer is not set, only the set temperature appears on the display. In SET mode, touch the SET button twice to set the Timer: the h LED flashes, then touch the + and – buttons to set the desired time. The timer can be set from 0 to 12 hours, with an adjustment interval of 1 hour each time the + and – buttons are pressed.
    By holding down the + and – buttons at the same time for over 2 seconds, the time adjustment becomes faster.
    If you want to change the previously set Timer, you must reset it by touching the + and – buttons.
    On the display, after 5 seconds without any selection on the control panel or by touching any other key except + and -, the room temperature is shown,
    When the Timer reaches 0, the fan heater goes into standby mode.

  4. Swing button
    Touch this button on the control panel to activate the horizontal swing function of the fan heater. When the function is activated, the LED ****lights up on the control panel. Touch the swing button again to deactivate this function.

  5. ECO button
    When the fan heater is on, touch this button on the control panel to select ECO mode, on the control panel, the icon turns on. Touch this button again to deactivate this function.

ECO mode:
a) The reference temperatures are 25 ° C and 18 ° C
When the ambient temperature is below 18 ° C, the appliance operates at high heating power (2000W).
When the ambient temperature is between 18 ° C and 25 ° C, the appliance operates at low heating power (1300W).
When the room temperature exceeds 25 ° C, the heating mode stops.
b) In ECO mode, when the room temperature reaches 25 ° C, the heating mode and the Oscillation function (if previously set) are interrupted, while the other functions remain active. When the room temperature decreases by 2 ° C below the set temperature, the fan heater automatically resumes the heating mode and the Oscillation function (if previously set).
c) In ECO mode when the temperature reaches 18 °C, the fan heater operates at low heating power. When the room temperature decreases by 2°C below the set temperature,  the appliance automatically starts to operate with high heating power.
In ECO mode it is not possible to adjust the temperature, the heating power (high and low), and the ventilation.

Other functions

Ventilation: ventilation must be active when the resistance is in operation. If the resistance is turned off, the ventilation stops with a delay of 60 seconds to allow the product to cool down.
Display lighting: If no selection is made after 1 minute of operation of the fan heater, the brightness of the display is reduced by 1/3 compared to full lighting, so as not to disturb during the night. To restore full display illumination, touch any key on the control panel.
Memory function : if you activate the unit from standby (not the first time it is turned on), by touching the button  the appliance starts operating according to the latest settings,  except for the Timer, which is not stored.
Automatic switch-off : If the timer is not set, the device switches off automatically 12 hours after the last operation on the panel.

Anti-tip device
This appliance is equipped with an anti-overturning system, which automatically stops the operation of the fan heater in case of the accidental overturning of the appliance. To reset it, disconnect the cable from the socket for a few minutes, put the appliance back in its vertical position, and reconnect the cable to the socket. If the problem persists, contact a qualified service center.
Overheating protection device
This appliance is equipped with an overheating protection system, which automatically stops the operation of the fan heater, while the fan continues to operate for 60 seconds.  If the protection system activates, turn off the fan heater, disconnect the power cord and let the appliance cool down completely. Contact a qualified service center.

MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE

ALWAYS UNPLUG THE APPLIANCE BEFORE CLEANING OR MAINTENANCE. IMPORTANT: DO NOT SUBMERGE THE CERAMIC FAN HEATER IN WATER

Cleaning the outside surface of the appliance
Turn the switch off and unplug it before carrying out any maintenance work or moving the appliance.
Use a damp cloth to remove any dust from the fan heater.
If the fan heater is excessively dirty, use a soft cloth moistened with water, or use a vacuum cleaner to remove the dust from the air inlet/outlet grilles, or with a soft brush. Let the fan heater dry completely before use.
Do not use corrosive detergents or solvents such as petrol. Do not wash the appliance with water. Do not use oils, chemical substances, or other items to clean that may damage the surface.

STORAGE
If the appliance is not used for prolonged periods, it must be stored together with this manual in its original packaging, in a cool and dry place.
