Product Usage Instructions
Installing the Flow Through Armature:
- Select the position for the new flow through the armature.
- Insert a screw with a washer in each of the two holes and mount the flow armature on the rail.
- Connect the tube to the click screw connection on the sample outlet and the sample feed.
Connecting the Tube to Click Screw Connection:
- Pull out the sleeve of the click screw connection until it audibly disengages with a click.
- Insert the tube 26 mm deep into the sleeve of the click connection.
- Press the sleeve of the click screw connection against the flowthrough armature until it audibly engages.
Installing the Chlorine Sensor into D 19 Flow Through Armature:
- Connect the chlorine sensor to the ADA Cl/IDS adapter.
- If the liquid circle was already in operation, stop the sample and drain the flow through the armature.
- Screw on the screw gland with the installation wrench and insert the sensor with the screw gland in the flow-through armature.
- Align the marking on the sensor with the top edge of the screwg land and tighten it by hand and then further with the installation wrench.

Installation of the chlorine sensor
-
If the liquid circle was already in operation: Stop the sample feed.
-
Drain the flow through the armature.
- info: The assembly wrench for the screw glands of the flow-through armatures is available as an accessory.
-
Screw on the screw gland with the installation wrench.
-
Loosely push the screw gland of the flow through the armature onto the sensor.
-
Insert the sensor with the screw gland in the flow-through armature.

Inlet
-
Align the marking (1) on the sensor with the top edge (2) of the screw gland.
-
Tighten the screw gland by hand.
-
Tighten the screw gland approx. a quarter turn further with the installation wrench.
NOTE
- Make sure that the sensor is firmly in place.
- A sensor that is fastened too loosely can be pressed out of the flow through the armature when pressure is applied.
- Always open the inlet slowly for commissioning. A strong pressure surge can destroy the membrane.
Installing the sensor in the D 17 flow through the armature
- Before installing a sensor in a flow-through armature:
- Connect sensors with plug-in head with the AS/IDS-x cable (see operating manual of the sensor).

-
If the liquid circle was already in operation: Stop the sample feed.
-
Drain all flow through armatures.
- info: The assembly wrench for the screw glands of the flow-through armatures is available as an accessory.
-
Screw on the screw gland with the installation wrench.
-
For FDO 925 oxygen sensor:
Slide the spacer (30 mm) over the shaft. -
Push the screw gland of the flow through armature onto the sensor and tighten slightly.
-
Push the screw gland further over the sensor until the shaft of the sensor is in contact with the screw gland.
- info: When the shaft of the sensor is in contact with the screw gland, the sensor is optimally exposed to the sample.
-
Carefully insert the sensor with the screw gland in the flow-through armature.
-
For FDO 925 oxygen sensor:
Rotate the sensor so that the slanted surface of the sensor tip faces the sample inlet. -
Use your hand to tighten the screw gland on the flow armature.
-
Tighten the screw gland approx. a quarter turn further with the installation wrench.
NOTE
- Make sure that the sensor is firmly in place.
- A sensor that is fastened too loosely can be pressed out of the flow through the armature when pressure is applied.
- Always open the inlet slowly for commissioning. A strong pressure surge can destroy the membrane.
Accessories
- Accessories such as tubes, assembly wrenches, or other components (see operating manual DW/P)

FAQ
- Q: What should I do if the connection is not tight when inserting the tube into the click screw connection?
- A: Ensure that the tube is inserted at least 26 mm deep into the sleeve of the click screw connection to achieve a tight connection.
- Q: Why is it important to open the inlet slowly for commissioning?
- A: Opening the inlet slowly is crucial to avoid a strong pressure surge that can potentially destroy the membrane. Always open it carefully.
