MacBook with Apple silicon and macOS Ventura 13: If you have a MacBook with Apple silicon and have updated it to macOS Ventura 13, you may need to approve new USB or Thunderbolt devices that you connect to your Mac. You can choose to Allow or Don’t Allow for power and data transmission. Alternatively, you can manually set this in your Apple menu under System settings > Privacy & Security > Allow accessories to connect > Automatically When Unlocked or Always.

Tips for Using

  1. How to install the DisplayLink driver to achieve triple display?

  2. Open the webpage and enter the URL: https://www.synaptics.com/products/DisplayLink-graphics/downloads

  3. Scroll down after entering the download page and select the corresponding “macOS” system.

  4. Select the latest driver version to download.

  5. Open the folder and click the driver file to install it.

  6. After installation, you can choose “Launch automatically after login” in the software settings, and you won’t need to run the software manually after restarting.
    NOTE: For macOS, the app will require a screen recording permission to capture pixels and send them to your external monitors; it will not be used for other purposes, and your privacy will be secured. If you are installing this driver for the first time, please follow the steps below for authorization:
    “Apple Menu” → “System Preferences” → Choose “Privacy & Security” → Choose“Screen Recordings” → Click “+” → Choose “DisplayLink Manager” → “Open”
    After granting permission, please restart your Mac for normal use.
