Compatible devices
Input: PS3/PS4/PS5, XBox X, XBox S, XBox 360, XBox One, NintendoSwitch, computer, Laptop, Roku, Fire TV Stick, Blu-ray DVD player, HD player etc. Output: HD-Ready or full HD TV, monitor, projector, etc.
Attention:
- Please use a standard input HDMI 2.1 cable within 1m (3ft) length and output HDMI 2.1 cable within 2m (6ft) length for 8K/60Hzor 4K@120Hz resolution, HDMI cable length on both sides (from input device to output display) should not exceed 3m (10ft).
Tips
- The 8K HDMI switcher can’t output content at 8K@60Hz or 4K@120Hz?
- Ensure that all involved devices and accessories support HDMI 2.1, for instance, your laptop, the cable, and the monitor.
- Ensure using an HDMI cable within 3ft (1m) for input and within 6ft (2m) for output. Keep the total length of both within 10 ft (3m).
- Adjust resolution setting to 4K@120HZ at 4 : 2 : 0. If the issue persists, please reach out iVANKY’s support team with the device’s name for help.
- The remote control is not working?
- Remove the non-conductive clear isolator before use.
- Point remote to the IR receiver. The range supported is about 6.6ft
- Remote won’t respond in IR Locked mode indicated by a solidred indicator on the switching button. Press the IR Lock button to unlock. The indicator will turn solid blue after unlocking meaning that the 8K HDMI switcher is ready to receive command from the remote control.
- Ensure that the switching button on the product works properly. If it fails to work as well, please contact iVANKY’s support team for a replacement.
- The switching feature of the 8K HDMI is not working?
- In 2 in 1 out mode, ensure connecting both input devices to IN/OUT1 and IN/OUT2 port.
- In 1in 2out mode, ensure connecting both output devices to IN/OUT 1 and IN/OUT2 port.
- Ensure that the switching feature works properly through the remote control and the switching button on the product.
- Display keeps flickering?
- Ensure that all involved devices and accessories support the required resolution and refresh rate, for instance, your laptop, the cable, and the monitor.
- HDMI cable is too long. For an 8K@60Hz or 4K@120Hz resolution, use an HDMI 2.1 cable within 3ft for input and one within 6ft for output. Keep the total length of both within 10ft.
- Adjust resolution setting to 4K@120HZ at 4 : 2 : 0
- Re-plug the device and ensure that everything is plugged properly.
- Try updating the operating system of your output device (computer).
- If the issue persists, please reach out iVANKY’s after-sale support team for return process.
- Can’t play music through a speaker supporting eARC/ARC?
- Connect by following the correct order starting from input device—HDMI Switcher—8K TV– speaker (output port connected to TV’s HDMI eARC/ARC port)
- Ensure that both the TV and speaker support eARC/ARC.
- Ensure connecting both the 8K TV and speaker to the HDMI (eARC/ARC) port.
- Set the mode on your 8K TV to “Use the audio system as audio output”.
- Product arrived with scratches?
- The product is covered with protective film. Remove the clear film to get rid of the scratches.
